Chill Out Bungalows and Bar

Lovely chalets, very comfortable bed and a smart semi-outdoor bathroom. |It was very peaceful and quiet at night apart from Fridays, when there is a party next door with pounding music til after 4am, even earplugs did not work. |The beach was perfect for relaxing and we had no problem finding loungers. The views were stunning and we could snorkel straight off the beach with beautiful fish and coral.|All of the staff worked hard and were super helpful and friendly. Herman arranged a private snorkeling trip for us and we were lucky enough to swim on our own with two turtles, a magical experience. |The beach BBQ in the evenings was awesome, we had filet steak cooked to perfection. |Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We didn’t stay here but we came here for dinner every night since we arrived. It was so good that we couldn’t change. We had the BBQ seafood, Mackerel, Tuna streak, Lobster and giant prawns.. it comes with all you can eat salad buffet. Staff extremely friendly. We will never forget. Thank you all from Chill Out restaurant. We will be back ❤️🙏🏻

The best restaurant on Gili Air? Definately the best that we tried, and we tried a few. This place is best for: Fresh BBQ fish - freshest fish and best/biggest fish kebabs Terrific service - Arya, and Imelda were brilliant! Always attentive and treated us like VIPs. They main man on the street, Ikhsan, was always quick with a friendly joke and kept us entertained every night.

I loved this beach restaurant and specifically their BBQ concept. You can choose your fish (fresh and delicious) and you pay by weight and, included, you have access to a salad bar. Everything for a fair price, highly recommended!

Food was great, we went one day for a snack in the afternoon and went back twice for dinner, and for breakfast. Pineapple crumble was my favourite. Not only worth for the food but for the staff, they were great. Martin and Mike are the absolute best…. Very welcoming and nice, we had a great time.

Restaurant review (we didn’t stay here) Great location on the beach, friendly staff that were attentive without being on top of you. Cocktail happy hour 4-8pm makes them a good price and the best selection we have seen on a happy hour deal. The fresh fish selection was amazing and it was cooked really well, not over cooked at all as we’ve experienced elsewhere. The only improvement I would suggest is putting salt on the chips. There were condiments available if you asked but I didn’t realise this until after I finished.

Best fish bbq we tried during our holiday in Indonesia! Fresh fish and the salad bar is super tasty. The service is amazing, fast and kind. We had a table on the beach, two steps from the sea🤩

Great place to stay in Gili Air for family. We are family of four with two young children, age 8 and 4 years old and stayed for three nights in its family bungalow. My children love the bunk bed in the family bungalow. It has open shower which we loved and used so much after having a dip in the water every morning after breakfast by the beach. We always had nice dinner and breakfast by the beach during our stay there. The staff, Ayu, Hendra and other staff are very friendly and helpful. They organised our snorkelling trip and island hopping with private boats to Gili Meno. They were also able to accommodate our request to be transferred to another bungalow, Gili Air bungalow, which has a swimming pool, for one night so our kids were able to swim in the swimming pool.
