Chill Out Hostel Boracay

I was very pleased with this hostel! It's located in a very convenient spot, just a short walk away from the famous Boracay beaches. The attached bar and restaurant is such a convenience too, and everything they served me was very nice. Initially, I was only planning to stay here for around a week, then to check out and move to another location on the island. However, I ended up regretting the choice to leave very quickly! The amenities provided here are, it turns out, not universal across the island lol. Luckily, after just a quick phone call, I was able to go right back for an extended stay. The staff were always very willing to help and friendly! There are regular events like karaoke nights if that's your thing. It's not an extreme party hostel which I was happy about. If I ever end up back in Boracay, this will be where I stay.

Pro-TIP: book directly through their website to get daily FREE BREAKFAST. 😚 Bed and pillows are very comfortable! I had a minor issue with dormmate but they were able to resolved it quickly! So thankful for their quick action which made my stay very comfortable. Few minutes to bulabog beach. 8mins walk to D’mall or station1. ☺️ Will definitely recommend it.

I had a really good stay at this hostel. The location is perfect—close to everything, so getting around was super easy. The service was consistently great, and the staff created a friendly, welcoming vibe without things ever feeling loud or chaotic. It’s a nice balance of social and peaceful, which made it easy to relax after a long day. Would definitely stay again.

I asked to change the room because of a strong smell of fresh paint fumes / diluent and they refused to change it. They needed approval from the manager at 1am in the night. The manager was sleeping, of course, so basically they asked me to wait until next day. No, it's not healthy to sleep in such conditions. You should take actions and lock that room immediately until the smell is gone. My throat is super irritated already and I feel dizzy. After insisting a lot, they realised it was super easy to move me to another room. Totally unprofessional and unacceptable behaviour from the staff. I have slept in hundreds of hostels all over the world with different conditions and different level of comfort. I can tolerate a lot, but not this. I will make complaint to the manager and forward it to the authorities and tourist police if they don't take actions immediately.

My trip to Boracay was highlighted by the beautiful scenery, the great food, the happy locals, and the fun activities. But it would not have been complete if it weren't for this hostel. This place has a way of making you feel like the island is your home. The people you will get to know here that share a dorm room with you are nothing short of incredible individuals. Over a single karaoke night, I've made connections and friendships I'll cherish. And with each succeeding night's stay, the place makes you wish you could just stay one day longer. Thanks, Chill Out! Walking distance to the beach. Very nice n clean rooms, incl. bathroom. In the bathroom there are shampoo 🧴 n body wash. Free cold ❄️ drinking 🚰 water 💦. Free 🆓 breakfast 🍳 if you book with them, their website. Check their prices online. Very nice employees. Free entrance to the swimming pool available (of the happiness hostel). Very nice shared room. For each bed there are curtains, light 🛋️, power outlet ⚡. Nice bar, restaurant to hang out, where they sell affordable drinks, happy hour 🍹. Not allowed to be topless. Very, very kind employees.

Amazing Stay in Boracay! I had such a wonderful time at this hostel! The location is perfect—close to the beach and all the shops, yet still peaceful enough to relax. The staff are super friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the vibe is very welcoming for solo travelers like me. Loved spending time by the beach and enjoying the sunset nearby. Definitely a place I would return to on my next trip!

The two of us really enjoyed our stay - even with us coming here during low season. The rooms are currently being redecorated, so the smell of paint is faint. The dorms and bathrooms are cleaned regularly. Beds are super comfy. They have enough charging ports too! During low season they still have social activities, one night we did karaoke with the staff and had a great time. If and when we come back to the Philippines, we’d love to stay here again!
