We had an amazing stay at this lovely cabin! It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and the pool was a bonus. The owners were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to make sure we were aware of all the great things to see and do around Chillagoe. They even lent a hand when we had an issue with our car, which we greatly appreciated. Highly recommend staying here—this place is a gem! We’ll definitely be back.

Absolute 5 star country service. We just had a fabulous three nights at Chillagoe Cabins and were blown away by the service we received. Wendy and Colin are so friendly and kind. Going out of their way to make you feel welcomed and looked after. The surroundings of the cabins are beautiful and even though there are four cabins on site and a large communal area you still felt like you were the only people staying there. The rooms are lovely and tidy, with everything you need for your stay. The local knowledge from Colin and Wendy was very helpful when deciding what to do each day. We will be back! Thanks for your hospitality.

What a hidden gem! With so few options for lodging in Chillagoe I thought the high rating may have been relative, but our one night stay at Chillagoe Cabins was one of the standout experiences in a 3-week trip of the areas around Sydney, Cairns, and Melbourne. Wendy and Colin clearly put so much heart and care into this little oasis - the cabin was tucked away and full of thoughtful touches, breakfast was delightful, the grounds are beautiful and home to wallabies, guinea fowl, and other birds, and the pool area such a cute place for gathering. Highly recommend, and leave yourself time for enjoying your stay!

We spent two nights in Chillagoe in late November. The facilities are excellent (lovely pool area and gardens). The rooms were very clean and well presented. Colin and Wendy are lovely hosts.

Awesome Outback 5-star service! We had a wonderful overnight stay at Chillagoe Cabins and we were blown away by the service we received from Wendy and Colin who are so friendly and kind. They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and looked after. The cabins are beautiful both inside and outside and there is a large communal area with a pool. The local knowledge from Colin and Wendy was very helpful. Thank you 😊

As oasis! We didn't stay long enough to properly soak up the hospitality, food and relaxing atmosphere. The cabins are private and beautifully maintained. The swim in the pool was very welcomed. Highly recommend

Very neat, tidy, and well presented cabins. Very quiet with air-conditioning, good filtered drinking water, very comfortable. The grounds around the cabins are really well maintained, and the pool is great for cooling down. Col and Wendy were fantastic hosts. We were served breakfast in the pool area, which made us feel very special. Our experience at Chillagoe Cabins was amazing.

We stayed there on Sept 9, somewhat unexpectedly, as the cabins and venue looked so enticing that we felt we had to linger in Chillagoe for a night. And so it was! The cabins were spotlessly clean, the bed comfy and the outlook private. The pool was sheer pleasure after a hot day amongst the limestone pinnacles and the breakfast (included in the tariff)... outstanding! Fresh fruit at the end of the line!!! (the bitumen stops at Chiilagoe, beyond is 500 km of dirt to Normanton). The owners Colin and Wendy certainly know hospitality and love doing it! Nowhere in a commercial stay over in Australia have we felt more welcome. Highly recommended.
