Chillers Grill in Fort Lee hits the spot. I gave it four stars because the vibe leans more diner than grill, but the food is solid and the menu is packed. Breakfast here is amazing. Big portions, cooked well, and plenty of choices. We tried the Shrimp and Steak Mexico Wrap with jack cheese, rice, black beans, spicy pico, chunky salsa, and guacamole. Loaded, flavorful, and satisfying. The Caesar Wrap with grilled chicken, romaine, tomatoes, croutons, and Caesar dressing was also fresh and balanced. Service was friendly, prices were fair, and everything came out fast. If you're in the area and want a casual place with good food, this is a strong pick.

Good diner choices with a nice interior. I got a peak at the kitchen. One of the cleanest kitchens I've ever seen. I shoulda got a piece of cheesecake to go.

Really cozy diner vibe but with a fresh twist. The space feels nostalgic, kind of like the place where people used to just to hang out, but modern. It has a full bar, solid cocktail selection, and even DJs apparently. There are TVs and nice outdoor areas. We sat inside but still had a nice chill time for a Tuesday night. We tried the chimichurri steak and chicken and also ordered the chicken gyro (both pretty good). The drink was delicious, and the service was top notch. Our server, Mo, was super friendly and attentive the whole time. Plenty of free parking. Definitely planning to come back.

Dependable go-to place for our family. Old school diner with a relaxed, welcoming environment as evidenced by the mix of people (college kids, families, retirees, all races and ages). Most staff are kind and friendly. Food is delicious, hearty and fairly priced. We go several times a month and it’s become our comfort go-to place. Gets especially busy on weekend late mornings, so if you want more quiet, get there earlier.

We had a great dining experience, and what truly made it stand out was the exceptional service we received from our waitress, Maria. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The food was good, but the service—especially from Maria—is what truly made our visit top tier. Her warm personality and professionalism elevated the entire experience. We’ll definitely be coming back thanks to her outstanding hospitality!

I am from New England so this felt like a 99s, great food, great drinks, awesome service. After a long day in NYC and not wanting to eat hotel food we spotted Chillers. Menu had many options to please any palate. My kids cleaned their plates, my girls got the sliders and my boy got the tenders. Me and the wife got a seafood plate and both were great with fantastic options for sides. If you’re in the area you have to visit chillers you won’t be disappointed.

Your typical New Jersey Diner! Vast menu, large portions and the food is okay! We really liked the penne vodka and did not like the nachos at all - the chips were stale. Chillers on Fletcher Ave. Fort Lee, NJ. We got the dinner special for $28 per meal, which included, soup or salad, a glass of house wine,(good house wine), and the main, branzino fish, roasted rosemary potatoes and steamed vegetables. Also we got 2 large rolled crab stuffed breaded fillet of sole, mashed potatoes and mixed steamed vegetable all for $32. Such large portions and a tasty meal we couldn't finish. Needed to take home a complete left over second meal for tomorrow.! Wow... Our server Nick was polite, helpful and attentive. Even the bus person, whom I didn't get her name, was kind and helpful. I haven't been here in years since I have relocated but they did not disappoint. The food portions are generous and worth the money spent. (See pictures) The service was ok and the servers were attentive. The ambiance gives a family feel. I highly recommend this restaurant and I know I will be back again. My family really enjoyed it!

Modern place with blow up pictures of Fort Lee on the walls. Big concrete ramp makes it accessible. We went for lunch .6 page sprawling menu of diner food. Broth for matzo ball soup was perfectly clear and tasty. Balls themselves needed salt and tasted oily. Sliders were fairly big cooked a nice medium rare and had abundant cooked onions. Service was efficient except for excessive wait for the check. Overall a pleasant place

They need a cook who knows the difference between med rare and straight raw inedible . Our burgers were mooing --If I would of ate this I would of gotten so sick --beside them not following directions this was the kicker-- I just recooked the burgers ..after ordering take out I just had to recook their food - let that sink in lol **UPDATE: it's been 2hrs since my mom and I cooked it longer and ate their salad . We shouldn't of done it - we've been in the bathroom puking I'm in here writing this . NEVER AGAIN LIKE OMG WTH !! I used to love these guys . Went down hill.

A great go to place! Restaurant Grill meets Diner. Service has gotten much better so I am putting a 5 star whereas I use to rate it a 4 star. The menu selection is great. It's overall the food is really good whether coming for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Surprisingly, the Italian pastas are really good too! Some of my favorite include but not limited to the pancakes, French toast, fresh squeezed juices, matzo ball soup, split pea soup, and my #1 the cheeseburgers and waffle fries!! They have indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. The restaurant is clean and looks really my nice inside. Desserts are really good too! Linzer tart cookie, coconut custard pie, and cherry pie are my favs. My mom likes the cheesecake and black/white cookie.

We were looking for a late night meal and decided on Chiller's for delivery. It was less than 2 miles away, conveniently open late, and had a good menu selection... so why not? We ordered a chicken caesar wrap with fries and a chicken avocado caprese wrap with salad. We called our order in at 9:30pm on a Thursday and was told it would be there in 30 min. It actually came a little over an hour later... not acceptable, if you ask me. Especially since we were less than 2 miles away and only ordered wraps. The wraps were $16 each, a bit overpriced for a diner. The portions were pretty generous though. My chicken caesar wrap was average, just not what I'm used to. The caesar dressing had a very subtle flavor; they realllllly needed to add more. They added tomatoes, which I wasn't a big fan of. The croutons weren't crunchy and they didn't put parmesan cheese. I was pleased with the big chunks of grilled chicken- gotta love a place that doesn't skimp on protein. I actually enjoyed the fries more! They were so crispy. Probably wouldn't order here again unless out of convenience/last resort.

Ordered breakfast burrito and breakfast taco today on grubhub. I called the store 3 min later to change the order for my side. They tell me driver left already. Literally was 3 min after I put in an online order. I got the order and the food is crap...first they forgot the pica de gallo for the tacos..the breakfast burrito consisted of premade omelette wrapped in a cold tortilla. See the picture. I was wondering how they prepared food and had it on the road in 3min...very obvious it was not freshly made. Never seen food prepared in 2min, even taco bell takes longer to prepare tacos. Keep in mind i ordered 2 dishes that shouldve been prepared. It shouldve taken at least minimum 10 15min just to cook the food. Never ordering this crap again

It was a Monday. A lot of eateries were closed. Chillers was open. Nice. We were hungry and needed a break from driving and Chillers Grille hit the spot! I had a surprisingly tasty and warming matzoh ball soup, followed by an equally surprisingly tasty corned beef sandwich on toasted rye. French fries were also nicely crispy with a soft interior. Very satisfying! My wife had their Greek salad and she said it was delicious, accompanied with a couple of dolmades and some of the best toasted pita she's ever had. It's always good to find a reliable spot for a break or meal on a long drive - we'll be back!

DELIVERY ORDER Chili burger was deliciousssss and big enough to split with someone! Fresh and high quality ingredients on it!!! The burger comes with side salad and also it was big enough!!! Thank you, chillers team! Loved the burger!!!

Now if you read my reviews, you know that 5 star ratings don't happen that often! However, my first meal from Chillers in years, pickup via Uber EATS, gets 5 stars! Ordered a buy 1 get 1 cheeseburger, a great deal! Requested my burgers cooked medium, one with fries, the other with a side salad. Burgers were 6-8 ounces of lean and quality beef. Buns were fresh and held up well against the burgers. No cutting corners using plum tomatoes, each burger came with a healthy slice of beefsteak tomato and romaine lettuce. Fries were seasoned and a triangle was even cut out of the plastic lid for venting so my fries would not get soggy! Side salad was nicely presented. Pickup was smooth and staff was pleasant. Wouldn't hesitate to order again!

The food and service are a challenge. When you go to a place like this you realize how diner culture in the Northeast is on the downside. It's sad.

This diner is really nice, there's beautiful outside seating with red umbrellas. The ambiance is cool and friendly. We had the shrimp poor boy sandwich with zesty sauce and they have the best French fries ever, so crispy. The flatbread buffalo pizza was to die for.

The food was excellent and fresh and the service was very attentive. I had been there before several times for lunch and this was the first dinner experience. It is consistently good and my almost 100 year old mother-in-law loved the pizza! The waitstaff is very friendly and makes you feel like family.

Good food, service, and ambiance. Have been coming here for years and Maria is the best waitress. Prices are good. I have to say the French fries are the best anywhere in the state. Now as for the desserts, pass on them. Not worth even thinking about them. They are disgusting and never taste fresh, although they say they put fresh ones out every Wednesday and Sunday.

This place is a favorite of mine. I love their calamari and the chipotle sauce they serve with it I top tier. Always great service and get sat quickly. Big parking lot and when it's nice you can sit outside.

Just awful! I ordered chicken parmigiana with spaghetti. The chicken was dry. The parmigiana cheese was burnt and formed a dry, tough shell on top of the over cooked chicken. The sauce was like water. The dish was poorly prepared and didn't really taste like chicken parmigiana. The accompanying salad was unremarkable. The wine I had was terrible and not drinkable. I sent it back and exchanged it for a soda The service was adequate. The restaurant is clean but has a dated look to it. Overall my dinner was unacceptable and disappointing.

I've been here a few times. Their food was always just okay - I was paying for the privilege of not having to make my own meals, but nothing great. But since they've started this ridiculous "Thursday nights patio party," blasting music so loud it could be heard several buildings away from Linwood Plaza (of all the stupid places to hold such a thing), I decided they won't get my money ever again. :) If they were decent about it, they'd at least keep it inside the restaurant instead of giving all the nearby residents a weekly headache.

Chillers is a gamble. Been here almost a dozen times probably and live in the area. Your experience at Chillers is extremely up to chance if you'll have a pleasant well priced experience or never want to come back. Tried their benedicts, quesadillas, burgers, matzah ball soup, etc. All the food can be both good and bad, the best advice I can give is to not come on busy times (Sunday Brunch is their busiest) or delivery-app this place. The worst experiences I've had coming here is when they're busy. They're a local spot so they're pretty limited in staff when it gets busy they'll be understaffed. The food will pile up and there just weren't enough servers available and the food got cold. Think this had happened to me twice, luckily I wasn't the one eating cold eggs benedict that time but one of other party members. While I haven't tried delivery apps, haven't heard a single good Uber-Eats/Grubhub story from here. That could be mainly on the driver though, but to be safe, would just suggest picking it up yourself is possible. As someone who's worked in a hot restaurant, no delivery driver drives individual meals, it makes them no money. They'll pick up as many orders as possible within a certain vicinity that fits in the app time frame to make the most money, which I don't really blame the drivers, Uber/Grubhub/etc. increasingly take more and more fees.

(April 1st, 2022) Brunch @ Chillers Grill, Fort Lee My first time at this diner in Fort Lee. Hard to find diners these days in Bergen County, especially near this town, but ot was quite pleasant to eat in this environment. This review only goes for our breakfast menu - Skirt Steak omelet ($18), Fort Lee omelett ($14) (with Avocado, Tomato & mushroom), & French Toast (with egg, ham & cheese) somewhat Monte Cristo style. Omeletts came with either home fries or French fries, and bread. They were all quite good. After all, I did not expect anything superb about omelettes ... Decent place for brunch.

What a delightful surprise. Stopped in for breakfast during the week. The food quality, portions , and service sets this hidden gem apart from your typical dinner. Clean, friendly, and inviting. This was the highlight of my day. I should have taken a picture of the food. I could not believe the size of the portions. A bargain at twice the price.

First time visiting this restaurant since Red Oak diner closed down years ago. I was surprised pretty much everything was same. This can be good and bad lol. Gyro meat was way overcooked making it hard but other stuff was not too shabby. Would visit again and try try other things.

Came here knowing there was a nice outdoor dining area for some breakfast. They have a real patio that is covered so yo I don't have to worry about the sun. Staff members were nice. None of them were wearing masks. The food is mediocre at best. There's nothing special but it's your regular diner. The menu is filled with so many options. I got the Fort Lee omelet which was ok. Not too much taste so you might want to ask for ketchup or hot sauce to your liking.

Really attentive and friendly staff, the food always comes super quickly and also happens to be delicious, the lemonade is freshly-squeezed, the seafood is always very fresh, and the atmosphere is really nice, with these "back in the days" carousel photos wallpapering the back and side walls. There also was a live musician this time, who was a superb pianist - I actually wasn't aware it was a live musician at first, because it was just that good that I assumed it was coming from a radio. Everyone who works there is extremely kind and welcoming, and the patrons are a good crowd. Generally a really enjoyable place to eat overall.

Wow! Seriously impressed by my meal here! Steak was cooked perfectly and the portion was generous! Service was attentive and quick! The restaurant is spacious and they even had live instrumental music! Only wish I would've seen the bakery case before paying!

I've visited twice -- once for breakfast and once for lunch. I haven't been back in 9 months and live 10 minutes away with my gym a couple of blocks away. In my opinion, food is overpriced (even by today's standards), food is nothing special, and service was not good. The last time I visited was with two friends for breakfast and we all concurred that we would not be back. I am giving it two stars only because it was clean and had a decent ambiance -- if I could, I'd give it 1.5 stars.

Wonderful service... Delicious food. It is just a wonderful restaurant/diner. Anytime of day it's consistent if you want to sit there a long time they don't rush you and if you want to be served quickly, they accommodate you friends and family and I love going there.

We ordered lunch for my office from here last Friday. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and a chicken soup. I didn't get passed the first bite of my sandwich; The Chicken Salad had turned. I called and the restaurant credited my account, but there was no lunch that day.

Chillers is consistently good food. We often have breakfast there but have also had dinners. Good quality food, service and clean. Prices are very reasonable.

Usually my go to the other night they bombed horribly, in the mood for some comfort, food ordered the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and broccoli. What arrived, overcook, tasteless Meatloaf? smothered in watery mushroom gravy, with more salt then a Utah salt mine. mashed were lumpy and broccoli was slimy and wet probably overcooked in a microwave. Salad was standard however, the dressing was excellent.!! Extremely disappointed

Great options, and loved the steak wrap plus you can get a side of grilled veggies ($1.50 up charge) instead of fries! Nice to have the alternatives. It's a little pricey for a diner, but you're near New York & in northso it's not surprising. They look like they have a good selection of alcohol, maybe not your typical diner! They're open late on weeknights which is great.

Decided to come to Chillers Grill with my dad on Thanksgiving early in the morning. I've always passed by and always wanted to try it and I'm glad my dad was in the mood to go to a dinner, the rest of our favorite places were closed which we understood. The place is very clean, COVID guidelines enforced, masks required when entering and temperature reading as well. The staff were very nice and friendly, we were handed the menus and my eyes opened when I read "fresh yogurt muffins", I mean WHATTTTT??? Muffins, YAS PLEASE!!! It was so delicious! I also ordered a Greek Omelette, gave some instructions about less feta, more egg whites well done and they delivered. It was a good day, my dad was also happy with his banana pancakes, eggs and bacon. I'd like to come back for those muffins, next time I'm grabbing 3 lol. Good job guys!

Stopped by for lunch and was greeted to an expansive and honestly quite overwhelming menu. It was freaking huge, and that's a bad sign because who can actually make all of the dishes on the menu well? Got a pesto chicken wrap, which was not wonderful. The chicken was bland and dry and the cheese wasn't melted. Like why isn't the cheese in a pesto wrap cold and not melted? Lack of flavor and mediocre. Another party member got a grilled chicken sandwich which was bland and dry as well.

Exceed my expectation! I ordered bunches of items yesterday including : Cobb salad, chimichurri skirt steak and lemon wine cod fish....everything we ordered tastes very fresh, the portion is very generous. I ordered delivery through the Grubhub app and the order arrived at the scheduled time. All of the food we ordered are packed nicely in the containers. The restaurant has a very extensive menu and I plan to order again from it again soon.

Great food great service good prices $$ plenty of parking convenient location when you go to a Restaurant Slash Diner enough becomes good friends owner is very nice. The owner is the manager and the waiters and waitresses very polite personalities WILSON , Mihela, and Maria just a few of the outstanding personalities in the spring in the fall. The outside deck is really nice, in my opinion that keep the place clean one of the best values they are is the chicken and lamb Gyro platter it is $22 with free refills on your soda. It's more food for the money then you would get at Wendy's or any other chain and a much much better quality.

Pretty great food for a diner but at a costly expense. I had a grilled chicken panini with fries and a split pea soup. The grilled chicken was perfectly seasoned and juicy while sitting on a pile fresh vegetables on crispy ciabatta bread. The best part of the panini was definitely the press and toast of the sandwich. Scorned with grill marks and pressed down to fit my hands for the perfect bite. The reason for the three stars is the overpriced menu. Though the food is good - the prices are not what I expect to pay at your average diner for lunch sandwiches.

The prime rim swas cooked like a ribeye, it was over 50% fat and gristle. We ordered 2 prime rib medium, which it should be slow baked or roasted. They both came seared and well done. Absolutely horrible. When you spend that kind of money on a prime rib, you expect a beautiful red piece of meat to be served, instead we got these charred ribeyes that were cooked all the way through and had to throw over half of them both away because of how much fat was on them. The soups were poorely made. Managers walked around staring at you, but never introduced themselves or asked about the food. Not much I can say about this place.

Mostly very good each time we visit. The only complaint is that in their Cobb salad, the chicken is always cooked weird and it's hard. Great waitstaff and the pianist is very enjoyable.

I've been to Chillers during the week for lunch a few times. They have a Huge menu, huge seating space that includes outdoor seating in I when weather permits as well as a huge parking lot. The menu is full of variety. I have only had salads and they have all been huge, filling and the one that t include pitas at re just amaZing! I just can't say no to that delicious carb! My coworkers have ordered fries, burgers,, sandwiches and omelettes and all have raVed about their dishes. I have never tried a soup, nor lunch nor dinner option. My review is for the space, location, service ambience and the lunch experiences. If you are in the area, pop in. You won't be disappointed.

Jefferson was our waiter he was wonderful personable and excellent customer service!!! The food was sensational my husband ordered seafood margarita on the specials this plate was beautiful and tasted so good. I ordered the filet Mignon it was outstanding I cannot tell you how great the service and food was here this place is the diner that you should not pass by!!!!!!! We ate so fast did not have time for pic next time

Ordered takeout here often. Lots of choices. Cheesecake pancakes were soooo good. omelets are good. Burgers are good, french fries are yummy. crab cake sliders yummy, buffalo shrimp yummy. the only thing i ordered that was meh was the mac and cheese (but the portion was enormous) - I would say this place beats brownstone diner(my old go to place) - you get better food quality

Had been wanting to try this place ever since it underwent a renovation. Ample parking on the side and the back. Patio outdoor seatings when the weather is nice. This place is more and better than your typical dinner. Service was quick and attentive. Linguine and sausage: portion was huge! It also came with salad or soup and I opted for the salad which was fresh. High recommended this dish as it was very flavorful with lots of sausages. If you don't like the sauce to be spicy, they can make it mild. So thoughtful! BBQ pork sandwiches: we asked for sweet potato fries which was a lot! Very tasty but a bit greasy. Would definitely come back again. Prices are very reasonable.

Diner set up, restaurant quality. 4 out of 5 stars for now b/c I haven't gotten a chance to try enough of their food, but their Roadside Sliders ($10) were succulent and tender; its grilled onions, the bomb; Hawaiian mini-buns, buttered well. Simple and delectable. Great place for group meetings. Went w/ a group of 9 people, pulled together a couple of tables, and everyone seemed to enjoy their meals.

8:20pm - Did a door dash pick up order Friday 9/27 8:28pm - Got a text confirmation that chillers has my order. 8:40pm Went to the location to wait inside. Was told by hostess they are backed up, but the restaurant is probably 35% full. 9pm - The hostess leaves her shift and I ask a worker who was doing something at the counter with his back against me if someone can check on my order. He turns half way to face me says "not ready" then walks away. 9:05pm - Another worker comes to the front and is doing something on the register while looking at paper and I ask him to check he says ok. 9:10pm - This worker does not and is still at the front register so I ask another one to check and he says they are backed up and he will check. 9:20pm - The food comes out. A pickup order should never be close to an hour and workers should at least be somewhat helpful. I ordered the chicken kabob and the Nyc chicken salad. Wife had the kabob and I had the salad Friday night. Saturday morning I had a bad case of runs and throughout the day at least 6 cases of the runs. Saturday night to Sunday morning I woke up with more runs and today Sunday I'm writing this with non stop runs and a weight loss of 10 lbs. I'm normally 190 and I'm now 180 within 2 days due to this salad. Hopefully I don't have to take a day off from work or a visit to the doctor due to this.
