Chimichurri Milford

A nice dining space, and the music brings a nice vibe. The menu provides many options. The cutlets were flavorful and crispy, the mushroom sauce complemented it well with chimichurri fries to soak it all up. The potato salad was an interesting variety I haven’t tried before. The dessert was a light strawberry swirl cake, with whip cream. Overall great meal, and would definitely try the meat platters next time. Thank you.

Chimichurri in Milford was outstanding. From the start, our waitress was fantastic. She explained each of the dishes we ordered in detail and made sure we felt completely taken care of. The service alone made the meal enjoyable. Partway through our dinner, Diego, the owner, stopped by to check in on us. He took the time to share his favorite menu items and made sure everything was perfect with our meal. That personal touch really stood out and showed how much pride he takes in his restaurant. As for the food, phenomenal. Every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully prepared. On top of that, the warm and welcoming atmosphere makes you feel like you’re eating in someone’s home rather than just dining out. It’s rare to find a spot where the food, service, and hospitality all come together so perfectly. Highly recommend Chimichurri—you’ll leave already planning your next visit!

Excellent food and service! We had chorizo & queso empanadas, they were delicious. Also, the chicken empanadas. We preferred the first ones. Our parrillada for 2 had plenty of meats. We had leftovers. For dessert we had churros & alfajores. Our favorite was the alfajores. We are planning go back soon!

The most delicious Argentinian flavor! The ribs are absolutely amazing, I highly recommend them. It's a very family-friendly atmosphere, with nice and friendly people and an authentic Argentinian taste. 🇦🇷 ❤️

We traveled to Milford, CT, just to try a taste of Argentina — and it was absolutely worth it! We found out about this place and couldn’t resist the temptation. It did not disappoint us. The staff was wonderful, starting with Diego, and the cooks were so personable that we were able to thank them personally for their fantastic work. We stayed in the area for two days and went there twice! The flavors were truly authentic and delicious. We had empanadas, parrillada, and milanesas — all excellent. The chimichurri fries are a must-try, and the desserts were superb. We’ll definitely return!

The experience here is phenomenal. Good vibes from the staff and regulars, and the food is amazing. I highly recommend the sausage.

We stopped in for lunch. The Owner Diego was super friendly and gave good suggestions although we knew the food. 😄 Parrillada, milanesa and empanadas were great. We went too far and ordered desserts too, which were amazing. Cozy little place down by the water. Stop by if you are in area.

A fantastic meat eaters experience if you love parrillada. Staff was quick and informed of the menu and fast with drinks. Started with empanadas, pictured was the beef, which was a firmer less buttery crust with a seasoned filling. Visible olives. Didn’t see much egg though may have been dispersed into the grind. Ordered the Parrillada chimichurri for the table which came with three sides. Of the meats, everything was well seasoned and cooked thoroughly. Ordered medium but everything sort of over cooks eventually on a heated metal platter. For the adventurous, its rare to see good blood sausage and tripe/sweetbreads. For the less adventurous, stick to the steak and chicken. Wouldn’t mind having 1-2 less sides if it meant the parrillada came with chimichurri, which felt oddly missing from the experience. Granted gorging on unsauced meat is fine, it felt odd to just have ketchup on the table. Something sour and light would have been nice to cut the overall heavy meal, as all side options are either fried or have quite a bit of fat.

Wow wow wow I can't even put it in words, finally some actual authentic Argentinean cuisine! Service was great and personal, the ambiance feels homely filled with soccer merch and decorations that remind me of my family's home country. CT has been in desperate need of argentine cuisine, as its had almost close to nothing in terms of options. Its always a drive to New York to fulfill those needs but not anymore! After going here with my family, its good to finally get some quality argentine barbecue with staples like entraña, Molleja, and choripan. Chimichurri Milford doesn't short out on our argentine staples and I definitely recommend trying it. Can't wait to go again!

This is our third time visiting this place. We love it!! The restaurant is really unassuming. It has several tables, they seem to provide a lot of takeout and they have a dessert display which looks good too. The staff is super friendly and are very helpful when it comes explaining the menu. They have all types of empanadas but our go to is the chorizo empanada. It is so tasty, we love to add some hot sauce just to kick it up. Next we always go for the parrillada which comes with several cuts of meats- beef, chicken, chorizo, blood sausage and short rib. The meats are prepared perfectly and so flavorful. The accompanying sides are veggies and French fries. I love the veggies!!! You should definitely give this place a try, you won't regret it.

We really enjoyed the beef milanesa and the Steak Salad. The milanesa was perfectly cooked topped with ham and cheese. The red sauce just enough to give it additional flavor without overpowering the delicate balance of the other ingredients. The Steak Salad was very good! The beef was tender, juicy and had great flavor. The chinichurri on it gave this salad a special flavor, must try it at home. If you like Argentinian food you must give this place a try. If you have no idea about Argentinian food; then get in your car and come on over. You will be warmly greeted, served and think, satisfied with what you get. PS. Must return for empanadas, they must be good because they were sold out.

Argentinian style empanadas! Light and flaky, not fried and savory delicious filling Edward had Steak salad with chimichurri sauce. Personal service and all around great place. Very family friendly too

The food is delicious and the ambience is okay if that is what you're looking for in your dining experience. Overall it was not a place I would go back to as I was just passing through!

Small place , excellent food and service, as an expatriate it made me feel like home. Long drive to this place for me but worth the trip!!

This is a charming restaurant with fantastic food, terrific service and an extraordinarily friendly atmosphere. We stopped in looking for a couple of sandwiches but the Chimichurri Steak Salad caught my eye and WOW! The meat was wonderfully tender and flavorful, the Chimichurri was amazing, the fresh avocado and tomato were in perfect proportion. Note that you can order the salad with EXTRA steak but what I had was perfect. The dulce de leche cookies for dessert are exquisite. We will definitely be going back to try the rest of the menu!
