I bring my mom for lunch when we are in the area- she loves good Chinese food and I need easy parking and accessibility for a handicapped elderly person. Chin Chin delivers on both fronts! Great lunch specials, very attentive staff, and the “boba in a pouch” was a fun presentation I had t seen before.

I’ve been coming to Chin Chin in Buckhead + Brookhaven for over 20 years and it truly feels like home❤️The atmosphere is always so friendly and welcoming, and the staff make me feel like part of the family. The food is consistently delicious, and I love that they’ve expanded the menu to include Japanese and Thai options as well🥰Everything comes out quickly, always fresh, and always reliable. I’m so grateful they’re still here after all these years, and I’m thankful to be part of the Chin Chin family🫶🏽

Went in because I was craving Chinese. I feel it's difficult to find good Chinese food in Atlanta metro. I tried this place at opening. So no wait, very polite. But I was a little disappointed in the taste of everything. The general tso chicken was too sweet, I didn't taste any spice. The soup looked weird. The spring roll was also not good. And the fried wings were yellow on the inside. Also, my fortune cookie was stale.

This is a GREAT restaurant! Their fried rice must be THE BEST in town. I especially like the Mongolian chicken and sizzling rice soup. The servers are friendly, helpful, and gracious. Really nice people! It’s my favorite restaurant for Chinese cuisine. I especially like the casual, unpretentious atmosphere. Conveniently located near the Brookhaven MARTA train station, as well as bus stops.

It's sad for me to write this because it was a beautiful memory of my years living in Brookhaven. The service was exactly what you expect.A bit quick , no frails , and that is fine with me. My problem was with the food.It was actually not good at all. There was a very strange smell that came from my peanut sauce. I ate some of it, and I did not get sick or anything.So it wasn't that the food was bad... just the taste. As far as decoration , I don't think they have done anything to that place for the last fifteen years and it shows. I used to go there so much with my children after school with my friends around the neighborhood.Unfortunately , that place is no longer what it used to be. And there's so much more around there that you can choose.

On Christmas Day I googled this place and it had great reviews so I said why not. Instantly after eating it I felt nauseous and fatigued. After an hour I had diarrhea out of this world for 2 days straight. I realized I was food poisoned. My boyfriend ate the food as well and he started to commit continuously. My Christmas was not enjoyable due to the food poison we received and along with that we had to miss work. I will NEVER go to chin chin again

Me and my wife came here for a to go order on Christmas and i promise you that when ate this food it instantly gave us a weird feeling. My wife was had shakes and i threw up until my stomach line was bleeding!!!! This is the day after christmas and it's so much paid in my stomach it's no way to go to work. She has being using the rest room since yesterday and it's getting worse , if you haven't read this message in time, i'm sorry that you're going thru what we've experienced here at this restaurant!!!!! This spoiled me eating any chinese food for the REST of my life. Thanks for ruining christmas CHIN CHIN!!!

So it’s Christmas Day and I’m pescatarian so I ordered some lo mein shrimp and fried wonton. I have eaten at this restaurant at least over 10 years so to my surprise when I started to feel sick, I couldn’t figure out what was going on. Maybe four hours went by when I started feeling like I was going to throw up for me it is the worst feeling ever. I went into the bathroom to put cold water on my face, but that did not help. I threw up four times. All of the food was in the tub so disappointed my family was so upset. My son is the head manager at A very high-end restaurant in Alpharetta and he was disgusted immediately said they served you bad food, old food. This makes me very upset. I paid $50 to throw up.

We ordered take out. Hot and Sour soup good as always, dumplings were nice as well. Would've appreciated lettuce with our lettuce wraps, but this want a bad delivery, I've gotten far worse

I live nearby and I got take-out from here once. Tasted like garbage. I threw it out.

The service is terrible. I supported this restaurant during COVID now the servers are rude. You can't find mgt to complain. Won't be back and will no longer recommend

Very good Chinese at a good value. Not a buffet. Everything is cooked fresh. They have an extensive menu of traditional choices and sushi. Has a low key family run vibe and lunch specials that are a real value. I want to describe them as a traditional Chinese place but I don't mean traditional as authentic, but a Chinese place like used to be more common in America a couple decades ago.

This is a neighborhood spot for me because it's so close. I do enjoy it and it's reasonably priced during lunch time. It's a bit higher doing dinner time but the lunch time specials are pretty damn good. I had the general tso with the egg drop soup and the seafood egg roll. The sauce that came with the egg roll was really good. The chicken was good and the sauce had a lot of flavor to it. The soup, was soup lol it was decent but it wasn't anything right home about. But you don't go here for soup! I have tried the egg drop and I'll chopped The Wonton and they're both pretty okay. It's really nice and clean inside, everybody is always friendly when you come to pay and then they always wave you off when you leave. I like the customer service as well. I've never had a bad experience. And I've been plenty of times.

Chin Chin has become my go-to Chinese restaurant for the past few months now. While they do offer dine-in service, I have only done take-out from here. My go -to order is a Hot and Sour Soup, order of Crab Rangoon, order of Spring Rolls, and then Chicken with Mixed Vegetables. The main dishes all come with steamed white rice. The food is really good and the service is always great. The prices aren't too bad either, pretty reasonably priced. I place my order ahead of time via calling in, but you're more than welcome to order when you arrive as well. They have a huge menu, so you're bound to find something you like. They also have a good lunch special menu as well. This place is great for lunch or dinner. I highly recommend giving this place a visit!

We came to this Chin Chin location yesterday for lunch. Chin Chin features Americanized Chinese dishes, and is not traditional style. This business is part of a chain, and this location is in Cherokee Plaza Shopping Center, near the end of the strip mall. Parking may be challenging, especially during weekday lunch hours. The hostess greeted us immediately when we entered there restaurant, which can seat a lot of people at the many tables in the dining area, while some customers can sit at the bar. Our server came by take our orders. This was the only time that he was attentive, and the service went downhill from there. We both ordered from the lunch menu. I ordered the twice cooked pork lunch special which has cabbage, mushrooms and bell peppers, and came with fried rice and a fried vegetable spring roll. R ordered cashew chicken lunch special which has bell peppers, also having the fried rice and spring roll. Our meals also came with soup; I ordered hot and sour and R ordered egg drop. Strange thing that I noticed while we were waiting for our food. Tables of customers who arrived and ordered after us got their food before we did. When we finally were served, our server apologized for the slow service. Throughout the entire time we were in the restaurant, I overheard our server telling customers at tables near ours, "I'm sorry for the slow service." However, the slow service only affected him and all of his customers. No other servers or food service were delayed. Odd ... Our food was good, as expected with Americanized Chinese food. I enjoy different textures in my food, as long as they're the expected textures, like crunchy cooked cabbage and slightly firmed sautéed bell peppers that were in my twice cooked pork dish. The fried rice was ok, as was the spring roll, which was just warm in temperature. My hot and sour soup was missing the spiciness, but, otherwise, tasted good. R said that his food overall was ok. Lunch specials prices at this Chin Chin location are higher than another Chin Chin location that we visit more often, and, still comparing the two locations, the food portions are a little bigger at this location. I like the decor at this location, though.

Were babysitting our granddaughter and had to get some dinner. Went to Yelp app (naturally!) to look around Brookhaven area, and found Chin Chin restaurant. I drove over to order my take out and was surprised at all the "Best Of" awards posted at the register! They were very friendly, the restaurant was quite busy, which is always a good sign, and the food came out very quickly! It was nice and hot, delicious and had to bring some home because the portion was very healthy! We'll remember Chin Chin the next time we're basbysitting!

I'm obsessed with a few dishes from here that I order at least once a month. Steamed chicken with veggies and brown rice. Perfectly prepared every time with the juiciest white meat chicken and tons of great veggies. I don't use the brown sauce they put on the side. Everything is tasty on its own, Sizzling rice soup is always good. Pork fried rice is tasty. It's not with the bbq pork that I love, but they add bean sprouts at an extra cost and when I add their house made hot mustard, it's perfect. The chicken and beef skewers are always great. I can add some of the meat from them to my healthy meal to add a little something extra. Always huge portions that I can make 3-4 meals of. When ordering with friends, we still have leftovers.

I eat here often on my lunch breaks because their lunch special is really great! Service is great too! They remember you easily and make you feel special as a regular. I like how you can see through the kitchen when they cook and the sushi bar is also visible. Adds to the vibe of the place. Dinner i will say is very overpriced for the same food they serve at lunch, but not against it completely just because of the great service they give

The Lettuce wraps were very good. The Sesame Chicken is good. The staff of very attentive and nice. No problems & the prices are very good. Will definitely come back.

I ordered take out veggie lo mein & crab Rangoon. They were both horrible tasting...I thrashed it. The next day my stomach hurt with cramps. The only thing I ate was that nasty, over fried & over done noodles. Never going back !

Yesterday my daughter and I went and had dinner at this place. From the receptionist to the server everyone eas polite. They were very open and honest. Very personable. More so than your usual place. Food portions where a nice size. Price was good as well. If you visit this place go during lunch and you'll get even more for your money. It's a small place but the ambiance was nice. Each table has a theme and even the other customers were nice so that was a plus.

Too expensive for a strip center. $20 for luncheon shrimp fried rice?! We gotta stop being sucker consumers! Rice is super cheap; pass it along to the customers! Shrimp are down too!

This is a neighborhood Chinese restaurant in suburban Atlanta. Set expectations accordingly, and your experience should be A-OK. I used to stop by here quite often for lunch and dinner, about a decade ago in my pre-Yelp life, when I was working in the area. I went back for lunch on a recent trip to Atlanta, and the staff recognized me from my previous visits. The hospitable service is what elevates an A-OK interaction to a "Yay! I'm a fan!" experience. I found the whole red snapper to still be as tasty as I had remembered. They filet it tableside for you, but you still need to watch out for bones. The Hunan dishes are flavorful, and pack a nice level of heat. I've never had sushi here, and I'm not sure why they even offer it; they didn't when I used to frequent this restaurant many years ago. It was a simple, tasty, reasonably priced neighborhood Chinese restaurant; not sure why they felt the need to branch out into the sushi realm. I see that many of the negative reviews refer to negative experiences with delivery orders. I can't speak to that as I have never ordered takeout or delivery from here.

So we have been regulars of this spot for the past two years since we moved to Brookhaven in April 2019. It has never failed us!! Good quality Chinese take out and delivery. We have never dined in, but we plan to once the baby can get out!! This place takes their business seriously. They email me after every order with a survey, and they always follow up. Also, get the chili oil. You know a place is good when the chili oil is homemade and $.25 per container! The sushi is basic but delicious. We ordered the new Chin chin Snow White roll and it was delicious. We also had a fried roll we've never had before And I was happy to find that they put the sauce on the side so the roll would not get soggy. Both roles were really good, but I have personally like the spider roll the best! You'll find a lot of cream cheese rolls given the demographic in this area, but it's all always made fresh. Ask packaging is top notch with the sushi! For entrées, or go to his General Taos chicken. There's not too much breading and just the right amount of veggies. We always get this with fried rice. their fried rice is $2 extra because it's worth it. It is not some rice cooked in soy sauce... it's stir fried with onions, peas, egg, and carrots. Soooo good even on its own. Tonight we ordered the Szechuan beef, which I found to be unlike other places I've had before. It is made at CCB with Shredded beef, shredded carrots, and scallions, but I added mushrooms to our order. Needless to say, this place hits the spot and I'm not sure why it's rated as such on yelp. Do yourself a favor and order online. Their menu has unless sushi, Chinese, Thai/Malaysian, and more.

This is our go to when craving Chinese food in Brookhaven. We typically get take out (call it in), but have also had pleasant experiences dining in.

My favorite sushi spot near my house. Staff is always so friendly. I always get the yummy yummy roll and the braised wings. The drinks are strong and delicious. I usually get a mai Tai. It's located in a shopping plaza so plenty of parking

This is my first of any kind EVER online, but in this case I'm compelled. We live very close by so we went and I can never remember getting a worse meal. It was 85 dollars for my wife and me and I honestly couldn't even get it down. When we left we were like I'll never forget this. Honestly, the worst overall restaurant I have been to in my entire 56 years on this planet. So listen up, caveat emptor, big time.

Excellent Sushi choices as well as traditional Chinese and Thai dishes. Nice Servers and Ambiance.

I estimate that I have gotten takeout 20 times. You have to know what to order. The nigiri sushi is cheap but terrible. The rolls are also cheap but are edible. The soups are all terrible except the won ton soup. They had the strangest hot and sour soup and miso soup I have ever tried. The Chinese food is serviceable. I do like their BBQ pork although some people would find it too sweet. Standards like Mu Shu pork are all good. I always get takeout and they recognize me and are always friendly and helpful.

I order Uber eats from here. I get it pretty regularly especially when it's raining or something like that. They are delivery time is usually pretty fast. Their prices are reasonable and their food is pretty good Chinese food! I don't order the sushi or anything because it's never good for home delivery but the Chinese food including sesame chicken, Mushu pork, dumplings are all really good. I also love their sesame balls for dessert which is some of my favorite. It's not the best Chinese food I've ever had but for delivery in service and price it is really good and I highly recommend it. I haven't been to the restaurant but I have gotten food from here several times and have rarely been disappointed. It's above average delivery Chinese food in my opinion!

I'm so disappointed! I been coming to this location for over 20 years !!! I buy the beef curry egg rolls 5 orders at a time ! Today I ordered nearly $80 worth of food and realized I didn't have enough sauces so I went back inside to get more .... Only to be told they would charge me for spicy Mayo and refused to give me any more soy sauce or duck sauce ! I just spent $80 and I TIPPED ON MY TOGO ORDER!!! I'm never coming back ! Phuck Yeu Chin Chin !!!

Just really disappointed after coming here since 2008 the quality has changed... if I do go to another it will be the in Marietta....

For basic Chinese food, this place is great. I've only order takeaway and it has tasted great each time. They seem to use better ingredients for breading because my allergy reaction is a level on on a sesame chicken order and that's a pretty big deal. Their spring rolls are nice and crispy. The happy family I just got was good, although, two pieces of shrimp for that price is not cool. I most like will not order that again. Delivery packaging is done well and I orders are always correct.

Chin Chin is in tucked away in the Kroger Plaza and can get lost in the mix if you aren't really looking for it. I happened to drive past it on my way from Kroger to the Walgreen's across the street and decided to give it a try. When I walked in I wasn't greeted with the biggest welcome or smile but that changed by the end of my visit. My greeter, Billy, doubled as my server and bartender. He was hilarious and made my visit very pleasant, especially because I was dining alone. The decor is plain but they do have a really nice Chinese accent, which give the place a little more character. I ordered the Crab Rangoon for an appetizer and a traditional dish of Shrimp Fried Rice. The Crab Rangoon was tasty but I must admit it had little to no Crab or Rangoon. It was a big shell with a thin paste of crab filling so I was disappointed with that dish. I was, however, surprised at the large size of the shrimp and the portion size that was served. At most Chinese restaurants the shrimp are small and very few come with the dish but not here. You get quite a large portion and it's packed with tasty, jumbo Shrimp. That's a plus in my eyes! I am glad that I happened upon this spot. I know where to come for some good Shrimp Fried Rice, large portion size, and an affordable price!

Wow...I decided to give this place a chance and ordered via Door Dash. It felt like the prices were a little high but figured I'd roll the dice. I wish I hadn't. The picture shows the rolls I ordered (cucumber roll & avocado roll). They were $6.50 EACH. That's over $1 for each little piece. If that pic is with $13 go for it. Otherwise, go to a more reasonable priced sushi restaurant. Just to add insult to injury, I was banking on the miso soup to be good. How can you mess you miso soup, right? Well this place did it...they diluted it with so much water you can barely taste the miso. Talk about a busted lunch order!

Food and service always outstanding. Everything is made fresh to order. They make their own brown sauce, it is not prepackaged. Hot and sour soup is the best I've ever had! They have a full bar and fresh sushi. Highly recommend!

Second visit in 30 days! Why? Nice sushi and Sashimi ! Friendly and accommodating staff. Had the mango roll this time .. I usually go for yellow tail anything. But one has to be open minded a d try new things. I carried out. Upon opening my container.. the presentation was stellar.. ginger and wasabi were sitting pretty. The flavor and texture or perfect. Additionally, I ordered our soup which was as ordered, hot and temperature. Equally delicious! Way better than that place that I went to closer to my house across from Walmart. Next time.. I'll get the crab Rangoon's!

After many years of total hit and miss or real miss with many of the "popular" chinese restaurants nearby, I had to find good chinese food. I just tried Chin Chin Brookhaven for the first time. I picked up lunch on Friday. It was very good. Mongolian combo, sushi roll, chicken fried rice, pork egg rolls. I was very pleased with all, but ate too much as it was so good. So I got dinner delivered on Saturday. Everything was very good again. Mongolian beef excellent. Pad thai excellent. A different sushi roll also very good. Everything was cooked well, the tastes were excellent. Portion sizes were large. Thank you. You are my new favorite Chinese restaurant! Plus you also have excellent Thai and Japanese food.

Yeaahhh soo..............ummm...just don't go here. Ordered the general Tso and side of vegetable fried rice (which is hard to screw up).......and they did exactly that. The chicken breading was super extra fried And turns into powder as you chew. Rice was more than bland. In fact it had negative flavor. Your mouth will give the rice flavor.

I really enjoy coming here. Working in Buckhead I'm always limited on good yet quick eat options. Chin Chin is my go to spot as it's easy to come in and out of this location. Sunny is awesome!! I'm not sure if he's the owner or the manager. He's the gentleman usually manning the front counter but he's also the individual that will seat you and then follow up with you during your meal to make sure everything is fine. He's very friendly, hospitable, and helpful. You can't beat the lunch special prices and value here. Huge portions and most of the lunch specials I select are around $8.50 and it comes with a soup (egg drop, wonton, or hot & sour) AND an eggroll. They have some lunch combo options at $7.50 as well. The portions are generous and it has always come out hot and fresh for me. They also have some lunch specials that may not be on the menu. It's displayed on the dry erase board near the entrance. My last two visits I ordered the specials from the board and they were both tasty and had a lot of protein. Both options I chose the special that comes with shrimp, beef, and chicken. I feel they were in equal portions too which is nice. Usually other places may give you more chicken than shrimp or beef. The only thing I wish was that the soup bowl was a little bit bigger here. The staff is quick to take your order, refill your drinks, and bring your food and bill in a very timely manner. The turnaround from order to soup to lunch entree is pretty fast which is great that way I can make it back to the office fast. The serving staff works well as a team.

Please avoid this place as the guy that works at the takeout counter is very rude. They also charge for additional packets of soy sauce. Each meal only comes with two packets and if you ask for additional they will charge you per packet. I've never heard of a Chinese food place restricting the amount of soy sauce packets that come with the food especially since this place is more expensive than a traditional Chinese food carry out.

Everytime I get my fried rice the peas and carrots are burnt or hard because it's pre made . Not a good thing. They can never fix it either they told me order something else

This place is GREAT!! I have been shopping around for a good chinese place since I moved to Brookhaven. Finally, I have found it. My normal order is Hot and Sour soup, egg rolls, and mongolian beef, so I haven't experiment much further that that will this restaurant. BUT, finally I found Hot and Sour soup that wasn't "thick", the egg rolls were not "bready", and the mongolian beef was the best I have had in this area so far. I have not been there in person, I have only ordered delivery to my house. FYI.

Had an amazing this year I am or the yellow curry with beef had amazing flavor and was well prepared for take out. I also ordered the House fried rice special both of our lunch dishes it was well packed organized and clean. The lunch special also includes a egg roll and a chicken wing which is just a little odd but nice additions. Ordering this very nice.

We stopped in for lunch. Our entrees were fresh, delicious and plentiful. First time visiting but definitely not the last time. The ambiance was cozy and comfortable. Our server Andrew was so very gracious, professional and helpful in giving information about the community. We are looking forward to returning.

I am Mexican and those who served me are also Mexican but they are shit as people. My money is also worth it and they treated me as if I were trash just like them. I'm not going back to that shitty place

Was our first time here being new to the area. They had our favorites on the menu. Order for pickup was ready quickly even on a busy night. Food was delicious!

By far, the best American Chinese restaurant in the City. They use quality ingredients and the proper amounts. You're not going to get a dish that is 3/4 water chestnuts with very little meat. Their sauces are great and not greasy. This Chin Chin is head and shoulders above all the other ones in town. Dine in is nice too. Excellent service.

Second visit in two weeks - weird! But J and I wanted something convenient en route home for each of us and Chinese sounded good. Same nice girl waited on us but we did try a couple of different things, except the good wonton soup, than I had before. Some of my favorite potstickers in awhile- reason? They had so much pork! We got them seared, as he prefers, though I like steamed too. They were pretty much perfect. And the Mongolian Beef was tasty too - large serving, more than we could finish. Till I'm relocated to a different 'hood, and when I'm craving Chinese, I think I've found my go-to spot.

The delivery was on time but I won't order anything from this restaurant ever again. I was prepared tips for delivery guy as CASH because I thought that even works better for them than I pay my tip with my credit card. So, I didn't pay my tips when I ordered. When the delivery guy showed up, before he hand me over anything, he specifically asked me why I didn't pay my tip online. That's not cool...AT ALL! He said, "why you didn't pay your tips?" Ridiculous! I told him, "because I was prepared them for you in CASH!!!" This restaurant charges delivery fees so, I have already paid for delivery. Tips are supposed to be courtesy by customers for their services, not something directly asked or forced by service provider (this case, delivery guy) especially when you already paid for delivery fees. That was very rude.
