I had the absolute pleasure of hosting our New Year celebration at China Cloud Studio, and it couldn’t have been a better choice! From the moment we arrived, the space felt welcoming and full of positive energy. The location itself is amazing—such a unique, vibrant spot that sets the perfect tone for any event. The vibe was made even better by the great music system, which kept everyone dancing and having fun all night. Colin made sure we felt like home. China Cloud Studio is the perfect venue for hosting gatherings with friends—whether it’s for New Year or any special occasion. I can’t recommend it enough. Looking forward to more events in this awesome space!

Very intimate venue. Makes it welcoming with a little bar/concession stand. Went to listen to talk which was refreshing to be amongst people who wants to understand life. Great talk :)

Absolutely adored the 7 person tag team Improv Comedy at this China Cloud Studio establishment. Right beside it is a speakeasy that apparently has a secret password for each day of the week that changes. It's so cool. Back to the comedy, a lot of it was incredibly funny and some of the comedians just were not that funny naturally (a tiny woman wasn't really funny but had a great outgoing personality which was nice). I would definitely go again in the future to check out more shows. It is an intimate setting and has couches you can lounge on. They sell drinks at the bar and chips, no food. Great pianist that plays the piano for a bit of a more dramatic effect which was quite pleasant. Loved it.

One of the cities last intimate and unexpected venues. Spaces like this are so important. Came here most recently for the hero show and had the best laughs. All the performers were excellent and I left feeling with spirits lifted. The bar is cash only.

Lovely cosy intimate space for improv. You can go every Saturday night for Treat Show Comedy. Also I got to perform there as part of Blind Tiger Comedy classes.

Went for an African festival last night. At first I loved the small, intimate space, but by 11:15 I had to leave even though I was enjoying the music because the ventilation was so bad and the whole place smelled like bad breath by that time with so many people in a small space. They started late, which is pretty normal I guess, but I really wish things would start on time. Also had a long speach and intro which could have been a lot quicker I think. The first band wasn't to my taste and wasn't African sounding at all to me at all. No Africans in the band either. The second band was good, more what I was expecting. Overall we had a fun night, but something needs to be done about ventilation or at least get some air purifiers
