5 heritage trails to check out in Singapore - SilverKris

"A landscaped public garden modelled on classical northern Chinese imperial architecture, offering visitors a stylised experience of traditional Chinese garden design amid an otherwise industrialised district." - Balvinder Sandhu

The food was flavorless, boiled and inedible. Bourbon chicken arrived pale orange and tasted like raw sewage. Shrimp fried rice had no soy sauce or flavor, just dry rice with 3 small shrimp for a large Quart. The saddest and most disappointing delivery experience I’ve ever had.

Hot & Sour soup is completely flavorless. No fried noodles with my soup. The beef broccoli had no flavor as well. Did not put fork or spoon or napkin in my TO GO order. Lunch specials are over $10 and they sneak in a debit/credit fee if you don’t pay cash. I wish I would have read the reviews before coming here. :(

They want you to use their sauce page to order online. Yet I get there and they have no record of my order. Then they find the order and tell me I still owe the money. I said no I already paid. I had to show them on my bank statement where I was charged. So then I had to wait longer for my food to actually be ready. And then they didn’t give me what I ordered and when I questioned it, she basically said oh well this is what I’m giving you. She tried to give me those little cracker things that you get with soup Saying they were $1.50 where I ordered a side of sautéed noodles and sauce for $1.50. Plus there website they use sauce added on a tip when I didn’t say to add one on. Sneaky group. Beware. Rude employees.

Like all Chinese restaurants in the area, the food is more oily than I would like. So, I spoon about 3/4 of it into a Colander, and rinse it off. Then I add back the 1/4 in the container, reheat in the microwave, and it’s always perfect. Their food is good and the takeout portions are huge. We like their chop suey, chow mein, spring rolls and various options of their fried rice

I was so hungry after working all day and visiting my nail salon near by. This was the worst fried rice I have ever had! Firstly I love a lot of veggies and I expressed that, to the young man who took my order and that I would pay extra for Chicken & shrimp. When I got home it looked so bland! I couple peices of broccoli, maybe 2 chopped up pea pods and sparse bean spouts! No onion or others veggies and the rice taste old & dry no eggs?!??!..I didnt ask to take out veggies. And I certainly paid enough to add protein! Nonetheless I'll never go back! Still sitting in the fridge. There are no onions or flavor, maybe my furry pup will love it!

Absolutely hands down the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Soggy, no flavor. Tastes and looks like old Alpo dog food. I never write negative reviews but please….do better at life. You know this stuff is trash. Buy more quality food and he’ll even raise prices! I was going to order PF Changs but I decided to save money thinking how bad could it be? Yup that bad. It’s true my peoples. You get what you pay for. Do better China Garden. I guarantee you the employees don’t even think about eating their own food.

Went on impulse in search of a new Chinese restaurant (our favorite recently closed). Place appears very clean. Staff was very nice and quick. The food, while a bit pricey, there was a ton of it. That said, everything was quite bland. I'm not sure if everything just needed salt, but it was like every dish was muted. To be clear, nothing was "bad." It was just fuel. I suspect the dumplings were reheated from frozen, the sesame noodles (while fine) simply weren't sesame noodles. This is a weird one. If you like muted flavors, this may work for you. Otherwise, I simply cannot recommend.
