So happy I stopped here for lunch today! Everything was cooked fresh and tasted delicious. I will definitely be stopping by here a lot more. The person who helped me today was very kind. Thank you!

Google
This was the worse I have ever had from you. Eggrolls were dried out, house Lo Mein only had 1 shrimp and no flavor, my kingpin did not have any sauce. Very disappointed in my dinner tonight.

Im not one to leave reviews but i felt i had to share this. This was the 2nd time I've order hete and the 1st time I didn't think the food was that great but i thought id give it another try. My order was simple and I asked for the chicken lo main lunch special with a large sweet and sour pork. What I got was the chow main noodles so that was wrong and i was willing to live with that mistake. Then i was charged almost $14 for the a large sweet and sour pork. The size i was given was a little bigger than the free white rice you get. The pork was cut small with the fat not trimmed off. I had a piece that was just fat. It was mostly tempora batter soaking grease. Everything left a nasty taste in my mouth. I can't believe how much oil was used and I just couldn't eat it. I even gave them a tip while waiting on my food. I rate it #1 for being the worst Chinese food.

Best place around, hands down! Food is always fresh and so so good. I go almost once a week! Highly recommend. Also great prices!

Google
I was searching for a spot to stop on the way home, and came across China Hope. It was like divine intervention that I found them because they have CANTONESE LO MEIN. I have been searching for YEARS since North China on White Bear Ave closed for this kind of lo mein, everyone wants to make those thick gross noodles. These people though? They did it right, they went Cantonese and I love them for it. Aside from my Cantonese lo mein dreams coming true at last, this place was very clean inside, the young person at the counter was very kind, helpful, attentive and efficient. I ordered online and that was also very easy to do. It said 20 minutes until it was ready which I found surprisingly because most places lately are 40+, but sure enough it was ready in 20! The food itself was also very tasty. Everything was still hot after my 20 minutes drive home. We have tried so many shrimp fried rices around the cities, and this one contends with our one and only other favorite. I love how they make their cheese wontons into triangles instead of the usual pouch. They were still crispy when I got home, and the filling was perfect and sweet. The sweet and sour chicken was good, the beef and broccoli was good, the orange chicken was amazing- definitely going to be a new staple, and the lo mein. Oh man the lo mein. Thank you, thank you, thank you for having Cantonese lo mein. This is our new spot. We have been searching for the best place for years, and we finally found it. Thank you China Hope

Prices are reasonable. No coupons. China Hope will take request for NO MSG. Good Flavor. They are quick getting orders put together.

Google
Disappointing service. Submitted an on-line takeout order which said it would be ready in 15 minutes. Showed up 30 minutes later as it was a slightly larger order so we gave them extra time. Didn't seem like they had even started it. Order was finally ready 35 minutes after the initially stated time and the person at the front desk was unapologetic and would not offer a coupon, discount or anything.

Google
We moved into the area three years ago and we have really enjoyed the Food at this Chinese Restaurant! The Food is usually ready in 10 minutes and it has always been so hot and so tasty and so good!! Tonight we ordered some Szechuan Chicken that comes with A variety of vegetables and a hot sauce and you can ask the sauce to be put on the side or have mild sauce... And my husband had Sesame Chicken which is always a delight!! This Chinese Restaurant is in our little neighborhood section of Brooklyn Park!

Yelp
China hope is relatively cheap in price and that doesn't necessarily show in the quality of food. I always get the beef fried rice, which is the best I've had with very low price point. I would say the customer service is lacking as it takes quite a bit of time for them to get to the register and they don't necessarily make their wrongs right. Overall, it's a Chinese spot I can trust to have good food that won't make me sick or I have to feel skeptical about so I'd give it a try if you haven't.

Yelp
Bad Advertising. I had ordered the pepper steak and figured as much that it would come with rice as it says, "Served with Rice", and was told that they weren't sure. (Mind that this is a little girl taking my order) I then left and went home disappointed and had to make my own rice. It was expensive too n with no rice?? Smh

Yelp
The worst Chinese food I ever " eaten,, most of the Chinese restaurants in Chinatown Chicago all over chi.Town spend my life looking for the best Chinese food but this is the worst water down egg foo young soupy fried rice small shrimps I ain't got nothing else to say about this place I'm sorry I lost my money..... Hope Happy Family

Yelp
We have been ordering take out from China Hope for nearly 30 years and they rarely disappoint. The original owners retired and their niece picked up the business and hasn't missed a beat. The Kung Po dishes and their "Hope Happy Family" signature stir fry are excellent. As are their egg rolls and oyster wings. Friendly and easy to order online or by phone.

Yelp
Love the food at China Hope! The fried rice reminds me of the Bamboo House from years ago!

Jason S.

Yelp
I have ordered from China Hope for years and have typically been pleased with the quality of the food and the service. Today I ordered 2 regular entrees, a large lo-mein, a large fried rice, won-tons, and egg rolls. A fairly typical order. I picked up my order and brought it home only to realize they forgot to put the sweet and sour sauce in for the sweet and sour pork. I went back to pick it up and they told me the sauce was on the bottom of the pork. I called home and asked. I had to have my wife send me a picture and show them there was no sauce in the bottom of the box or the bag. They also only gave my a half filled small box of white rice and asked if they could give me a little more rice since I did actually order two entrees and normally get a full box of rice. The made me pay for extra rice. I was thinking that maybe they would throw in something for my inconvenience but silly me. Guess I'll be sticking with Than-Vi going forward as they always treat their valued customers as if the matter. Very disappointed with this experience.

Yelp
I use to like come here all the time. But lately, they have been very disappointed. I bought the Two in One garlic sauce and I literally got 3 scallops and 1 shrimp and the rest of the container contains veggies.

Barb B.

Yelp
We used to enjoy this place but the food has gone downhill. Used to taste authentic, now it's has a more mass produced taste and feel. Seshwan wings used to be the entire wing, now it's more of a nugget, chicken chow mein used to be full of shredded chicken and is now watery and you have to search for any chicken, they have chunks of what I believe is Bok Choi in the fried rice (which some may like), not a fan of "crunchy" rice.

Adrienne R.

Yelp
Really solid egg foo young (something I'm rather picky about). Great flavor and value. Also some of the best cream cheese puffs in the area.

Yvonne M.

Yelp
I ordered over the phone despite reading reviews that people's orders were missing. A LARGE sesame chicken with rice and a regular sweet and sour chicken with rice. Had my mom pick up the food. Get back home and what is there? One rice and a regular size sesame chicken. I call them to let them know and they say they only charged me a small sesame. That's not the point I asked for a different size. And only one rice when there's supposed to be 2. She says she combined them. That's not what I asked and now you are cheating me of my money and not correcting the situation. If someone ask for one large and one small don't combine and give them one large. That's not right. Never again don't go here the the sesame chicken was decent, but the sweet and sour chicken is BLAND! And their customer service sucks.

Yelp
Chinese food is one of my favorites. I have tried food from so many restaurants, but this place really gets high marks! The egg foo young is by far one of the best in the area. I especially like the chicken egg foo young - 3 large patties, large slices of chicken breast and a sauce that is divine. Their low mein is wonderful, spiced just right, thin noodles and not greasy. My kids favorite is the sesame chicken - so good. Other favorites include, chicken sub gum chowmein - again large slices of chicken and not some shredded or ground chicken, we are talking the real deal, Szechuan chicken, house fried rice, egg rolls and cream cheese wontons. Actually I have not had a bad dish here yet in 6 years. The only down side is that is take-out only, but I do keep their menu in my car.

Katie G.

Yelp
The food is good, but the last 3 times we have ordered there, they mess it up somehow. Last time I ordered, I peaked into each container before I drove away, when I got home and opened the chicken chow mein, there was no chicken! I suppose it was partially my fault for knowing they usually mess up the order, so in hindsight, I should have opened all of the containers up all of the way to check. I doubt we will ever order there again.

Mark H.

Yelp
I called them like 16 times while they were open, no answers. i'm really sad but the food is good.

Scott S.

Yelp
Food is always fresh and hot. Nice to be able to call in order and have it ready to pick up in 10 - 15 minutes. Have to ask for chop sticks if you want them.... Recommend sesame chicken, chicken chow mein, wontons cheese puffs, hot and sour soup.

Tiffanie S.

Yelp
Most of the dishes here are good and served pretty fresh. But I think the stand out dish is the Hot and Sour soup. I love hot and sour soup and this is one of my favorite places to get it from. This place is take out only. Very cheap and good quality. They do use MSG, though.

Nicholas S.

Yelp
Great food, great service! I have been going to China Hope for years my family just moved further a way but we still make the commute to pick up some delicious take out from here. We now live about 10-15 minutes away we usually call ahead and then leave and by the time we arrive the foods ready. During the Summer months they make great fruit smoothies too.

Joe G.

Yelp
Great take out! They finally have a menu online too: http://www.chinahopetogo.com/

Adrienne N.

Yelp
This is one of my go to places. I love their pineapple chicken and their fried rice. The people that work there have always been really friendly. I highly recommend going to this little takeout place it is so good.

Chris K.

Yelp
I've been getting food here for a long time. They are fast but they are usually pretty rude on the phone, especially when one of the younger girls answers. They will often mess up our order and our requests aren't too complicated. The food is good though and it is convenient and cheap so we still go once in a while.

Luke S.

Yelp
I love the food here! It tastes great! The service is almost always really quick. I have been getting my Chinese food from here for a long time with pretty much no problems. Over the many years I have been going here they have rarely made a mistake and the food quality is extremely consistent.

Melissa Y.

Yelp
I lived in this neighborhood my whole life but never seen this place. Im guessing it still quiet new. Decided to come here today because i was craving some lo mein. Its small and there's only one table so im guessing its more of a take out thing. But i sat down and ate my food and i was surprised that it was actually very good. I would recommend this to anyone. Their smoothie is bomb ad well ^^

Chet M.

Yelp
Been coming here since i was a kid. This place is great. Great food, great price and quick service (this is a take out establishment). I would recommend this place for Chinese take out. One of the best places in Brooklyn Park, MN.

TJ L.

Yelp
Best Asian food around!!! Love the staff!!! Highly recommend visiting and ordering the fried rice. The egg rolls are to die for and the sweet and sour chicken is perfectly prepared.

Tom C.

Yelp
Quick service yes, QUALITY NO! the egg rolls were under cooked and the shrimp fried rice was...well I think it was shrimp from a can. The quality and freshness is seriously in question. I was Very Unsatisfied with my order and returned and asked for my money back....and the manager said flat out NO. Poor customer service, since when is the customer wrong? I got off cheap $15...and I will Never order there again. As well as tell all Brooklyn Park Residents the Same...BAD FOOD and Over all Bad Experience.

Tonya W.

Yelp
Visited this place today and ordered shrimp egg foo young. It was really nasty. I don't recommend this place. They have a lazy way of making their egg foo young. Won't be back. Yuck Yuck and Yuck!!!!

Janette P.

Yelp
I've been a customer for years, but haven't been for a few months. I decided to go back tonight because I used to love it so much and I was incredibly disappointed. The chicken was a frozen piece of chicken just layered with fried crust that just fell off. The egg rolls were fine and the fried rice was actually quite good, but you're typically going there for a main entree and I hate to say it, but I don't think I'll return.

J R.

Yelp
Had kung pao and there wasn't much chicken. Eggroll have the taste of av frozen eggroll at Cub. Nothing special. Fast and cheap. But still not as good as some other fast and cheap places.

Laura W.

Yelp
This is my tried and true. every time im at my parents house, i stop here on the way home, even if its just for the leftovers i can eat the next day. try the egg rolls, and the lo mein. i have never had a problem here. yum!
