We will definitely be eating here again!This restaurant has indoor seating and also take food to go options. The atmosphere isn’t that great for me and I’m super picky about my atmospheres. We were feeding four different people and it cost $60. We got three medium sized meals and the crab Rangoon‘s and pork eggrolls. Everything tastes amazing And only waited for our food for about 20 minutes or so. The lady also gave me a free 2 L of soda for our group so that was awesome!

i got the chicken fried rice but instead of just normal chicken fried rice it came with a surprise rock. i should not be spending hard earned money on food just to end up biting down on a god damn rock. do not eat here.

When i am in town I usually get Chinese here and its always good. Not this time. My walnut chicken was dry and tasted like it was old. Same with my fried rice. Crab wonton, hard like overcooked. Barely anything in them they were so flat. I was very disappointed with the food this time.

I have eaten an ungodly amount of Chinese food across many cities and states and I have never, ever, found anything that comes even remotely close to China House's General Tsos chicken. Everywhere else it tastes the same, but China House is truly in a league of it's own. It is the perfect blend of sweet, savory, not too spicy, and a very (un)healthy portion. Also, do yourself a favor and try their Fried Dumplings. Thank me later. And finally to everyone here lying about finding cockroaches and this and that... It's 2022. Take a picture with your phone and prove it instead of trying to sabotage a business that's been around for decades.

First of all I am so glad that NB got another choice in takeout. This place is good and comparable in price to the other Chinese food establishments in Chenango County. They make the food fast and serve it hot. The only complaint I have is there are not enough vegetarian options. The lunch menu is great. It has great choices and lots of food for a good price. My daughter and I can split a lunch and still feel full.

Sesame chicken, Crab Rangoon, and boiled dumplings were great.

Unfortunately I'm in town tonight and the Norwich Buffet is closed only on Tuesday. Norwich Buffet is by far one of my favorites when staying to visit my client. So I called this China House which I visited during COVID and like all others the buffet was closed. Stuff was piled all over inside and it's not clean. So I just called to see if things have changed back since COVID LOCKDOWN is over. STILL NO BUFFET OFFERED. I won't get takeout because I doubt it's cleaned up either.

We ordered vegetable lo mein and this is what we received. Umm, not vegetable and not sure what those are.

The best Chinese takeaway in the county that I've found so far. They have a buffet set up and plenty of indoor seating. Unfortunately, every time I went there it was cordoned off because of covid.

The place does not look as nice. But the service is good. We did take out. Ordered dumplings and now I'm hooked. The food is good.

This restaurant was listed as dine in or take out, so we went out for a meal, only to find that there was nowhere to sit if you wanted to eat in. It didn't look very clean either so I probably wouldn't try it for takeout.

This place was very unsanitary and the food taste like aids! I left so sick to my stomach!!!!

This is probably the worst food my family and I have ever eaten. If I could give zero stars I would! Every thing we ate was cold or did not taste at all like normal Chinese food! My children left complaining of a stomachache. Do not eat here unless you want to be sick

We went there a few days ago to get dinner, got sweet and sour chicken. Got home and there was no sweet and sour sauce. We were irritated but whatever. Accident happen. We ordered again tonight and they delivered...no sweet and sour sauce again. I called them and they told me they could bring it in 20 minutes!! I told them this was the second time they did this and after 20 minutes our food would be cold! Chinese isn't cheap! So I asked that since this was the second time and since we were gonna have to eat it cold could we get our money back (our meal free) or money off. They wouldn't do it. He didn't seem sorry. He apologized once and didn't even sound like he meant it. I'm just so fed up. Chinese isn't cheap and you'd think sweet and sour chicken that you wouldn't forget the sweet and sour sauce twice.

This was the worst place I have ever been!!! If I could rate it a zero I definitely would!!! All the food was cold or tasted like junk!!! The shrimp also is not deveined!!! Never got refills eaither!!! My kids and I are sick after eating here dont go here unless you want to get sick

This is the WORST Chinese food I have ever had. After a long day, ordered shrimp with lobster sauce, always good before.. tonight order a large 4 , counted em, pieces of shrimp in a broth tasted like land dosh detergent, and so e hot dog looking tubified imitation rubber seafood, had to make a blt myself, ever again will I waste money at this horrible place.

This place is located in an area that has very little traffic. I think buffet is the wrong choice for this area as you do not know how long the food has been sitting. Although it tasted good I became sick afterwards.

Great lunch buffet. 4 rows of food , dessert bar, some sushi. Hot tea. Couldn't ask for more

Giving four stars, not five, because their buffet is pretty bad...not always fresh and hot, however, their take out is top notch! Pros: crab rangoons Cons: hot and sour soup (not fresh with littler taste or veggies.)

This was a well-equipped and clean appearing Chinese buffet. Items in the restaurant like the kitchen are a bit out in the open. As the prior review has said there are four serving tables set up in the restaurant. We did notice at the time of day that we visited, which was around 4:30 PM, that the portions in the dishes on the serving tables were fairly small. and that what was their seemed fairly dry it out in some of the dishes. Being a buffet we went back for a second plate at this buffet. And found that most of the items that we got were also fairly dry it out. The flavor in the dishes offer were lackluster and a bit on the tough side. Leaving us to guess that some things might've been sitting out since the end of the lunch hour. I hope to be giving this restaurant a second chance review sometime in the future if I make it to this area again. When I do I'll make a point of visiting them right at one of their peak serving times to ensure I get the freshest food.

It was okay. It was a small buffet with not much variety. The buffet down the street is much larger with better quality. This did not have sushi. The use cream was freezer burnt. The broccoli chicken and walnut shrimp were good. But there sesame chicken and general chicken were only okay and the peanut chicken should have been called maple syrup chicken it had no peanut it was just battered chicken with syrup on it. It was very odd. All in all I wouldn't go again with such a better buffet less than a mile away.

It was ok. Wish they had more variety and the ice cream was not very appetizing. Service was great.

Clean restaurant, friendly staff and good variety of food items. Price was right!!!!!!

Buffet is good, delivery is fast, all in all decent place to eat.

Clean the place--Went there to just get some soup--Server cleaned dirty dishes and then picked up meat and never washed his hand or put on gloves . Floor so dirty, you stick to it and looked around the kitchen and thought of the picture we saw of Denny's. Left the soup and won't be back.
