We've eaten here before, quite a while ago. It's still really, really good. We were in time for the dim sum ... chicken feet of course, steamed buns, shrimp dumplings, taro dumplings, fried sesame balls, and more. Everything was freshly prepared and steaming. Service is good an quick. They do not rush you as you savor the delicious treats. It's nice and clean as you would expect.

Our new favorite neighbor Authentic Chinese food location. Food is fresh and delicious. EVERYTHING IS GOOD! From the Duck fried rice to dumplings in every flavor shrimp, beans, pork, Mongolian befc, Honey garlic chicken, Best ever. I appreciate the Authentic flavors now after having visiting China 1st hand, even the table settings are the same. Now we always come and even bring more family with us. See you soon!

The Chinese food and dim sum at this restaurant are subpar—likely the best you’ll find in South Florida, but don’t expect authentic flavors if that’s what you’re craving. The service is hit-or-miss and often slow, though the restaurant is clean and bright. Dim sum is below average, and with recent price increases, it’s hard to justify the cost for what you get. My family has been coming here for years, but we mainly visit out of tradition, not for the food. It’s great for large groups, but overall, the dishes are a bit too oily and salty for my taste. Parking can also be a hassle, especially during peak hours. The one thing I love, though, is their steamed oysters—they're always fresh and flavorful.

Best dim sum place in the area by far. If you want to experience real Chinese food, this is the place to go. Come in the morning for Dim Sum but beware it's packed on the weekends so expect a wait. The dinner is great too. Prices are fair and good value for what you get. You'll know this place is legit because lots of Asians dine here. Been a regular here for years and expect to continue as long as they're in business. P.S. Expect the pineapple buns to be sold out unless you arrive at opening time which is 11am. If they're sold out, the golden lava bun is a good substitute.

Absolutely authentic and delicious Chinese food. Steamed fish and ginger scallion lobster were the stars for me. I drive almost an hour to go dine there. Must be phenomenal food!

We were seated immediately. Hands down the best steamed fish ever. Bursting with flavor so elegantly. You have to try it. The shrimp wonton soup with egg noodles had plenty of wonton and was very tasty. The shrimp arroz chaufa (fried rice) was delightfully seasoned. Large portions. It may get cold so wear a jacket. They give you hot tea to start. Staff was on top of every table with a smile. Friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. Definitely recommend. It also has a Peruvian Chinese fusion

Mixed reviews as I have been coming here since I was a child with my family but they did serve us raw xiaolongbao a few years back that has some of my family sworn off of Chinese restaurants. Probably the best dim sum around and I love their pan fried noodles. Staff is very nice! The restaurant itself hasn’t changed in a while but I think it is nice, it can be a bit crowded at times. Their dan tat is not so pretty but is delicious. Also prices are better imo!

China Pavilion is tucked away on Pembroke Road, just a quick two minutes from the mall. Walking inside, the space feels open--almost like a lively food hall. The place was filled with families and groups enjoying their meals, plates wiped clean. That's always a good sign for me and my green light that the food is the real deal. They've got a wide menu, but dim sum is their specialty. I have a little rule when I try out new Asian restaurants: start with the basics. If they can't get those right, I know I don't need to come back. Thankfully, they passed the test. We kicked things off with dumplings and their roast pork buns. Let me tell you--the pork buns were fantastic. The filling was flavorful, perfectly balanced, but could have used a little more meat. The bun itself was soft and fluffy. Honestly, I could've eaten a few more without regret. For mains, we ordered Pineapple Fried Rice, Yang Chow Fried Rice, and Sweet & Sour Chicken. At first, we considered Shrimp Fried Rice too, but when we saw the portion sizes coming out to other tables, we wisely canceled. Trust me--these dishes are generous and made for sharing. Out of everything, the Sweet & Sour Chicken surprised me the most. Instead of the usual dry fried chicken with sauce on the side, theirs came cooked directly in the sauce. It made the chicken juicy, tangy, and way more satisfying than the version most places serve. The food here honestly ranks among the best Chinese I've had in South Florida. The service? Well, it's not the highlight. Nobody is assigned to your table specifically, so you kind of just flag down whoever's nearby. Once you know how it works, it's fine, but don't expect super attentive service. Overall, China Pavilion is a spot worth visiting if you're craving authentic flavors and big portions. Perfect for families or groups who like to share and taste a little bit of everything. Total cost including tip for 3: $86.49

If you're a fan of asian food, and who isn't, you need to try the best Chinese food in all of South Florida. A telling sign that this place is legit is all the asians having dim sum or dinner. They have Peruvian Chinese food but to me it's not good. Had some fried chicken that came with a type of gravy and everything was so bland. To save it we ordered some ginger, garlic oil and used that to dip the chicken in. Dim Sum here is hands down the absolute best in South Florida. You'll hear that Ten Ten is better because they have the rolling carts but food ins't as fresh as it is here when you order exactly what you want and then it's prepared fresh to order. My favorite dishes are the shaved bitter melon soup with tofu, steam pork ribs in black bean sauce, sea bass served on a sizzling plate and flounder served sauteed fish fillet and fried fish bones. Trust me on this...the last dish is a must try. So many amazing dishes, there's something for everyone.

Another Great Experience at China Pavilion!!! If you're thinking of coming here, let me give you a tip: avoid Sundays. It gets packed with long waits. Instead, try visiting on weekdays, especially before 4 PM when they're serving Dim Sum--it's absolutely worth it! The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and authentic. My wife especially loved the Red Bean Bun and the Sponge Cake, saying they were better here than at other places she's tried. This place has become one of our favorite spots for Dim Sum in the area. Highly recommend if you want a true taste of traditional Chinese flavors in a lively setting. Can't wait for the next time!

We love coming here for dim sum on the weekends! You know it's an authentic place when they are packed! Food is authentic and always delicious. Great quality food and they have a ton of people helping out to make sure your service needs are met. Ambience wise it felt like a Chinese restaurant from the late 80s. Huge restaurant with tons of tables ample seating for large parties and families. Definitely go a check out their dim sum menu!

Not the cleanest restaurant, old inside and dirty. The floor is like an ice skating rink. The soup excellent great flavor, egg roll greasy just bland. Entree was over salty and very little meat, fried rice had a strange flavor. Excellent service but this location is not 4 stars. I have it 2 for the soup and service

Fried rice was really dark and greasy, fried wontons were not fresh, sweet & sour sauce was cold and honey garlic chicken had too much breading. Threw away most of the food and it wasn't cheap; about $40 for two people!

I like China pavilion. Great food. When I dine here , I like the regular dishes rather than the dim sum. Dim sum prices are high and I can always go to Ten Ten for that. But this wonton noodle soup had a little Of everything. Pork. Veggies, a sufficient amount of wontons and noodles. Very filling.

I've been coming here for so many years & it's always been consistently good. They serve amazing dishes & have some of the best dim sum around. It should be noted that they only offer their dim sum menu from 11-4 but I definitely recommend going for it specifically. Sometimes it takes a little while because they get busy, but they surely pump the orders out. Usually the orders will come out staggered because they serve them as they're finished & I like that because nothing sits around. The steamed shrimp dumplings, pork/shrimp siu mai & steamed ribs with black bean sauce are must haves! Get some BBQ pork buns while you're at it. Whenever I crave take out, this is usually my go-to spot. The portion sizes are huge & the prices are very reasonable. You can't go wrong with a combo because it comes with an egg roll, rice & soup. Both the wonton & egg drop soup are delicious. Dining in is always good too because the service is typically on point. It's always clean inside & tables get turned quickly.

This is my favorite dim sum restaurant in Broward County. Our immediate family and Chinese relatives have been going to this eatery for years (and some of them are chefs). In fact, when my elderly uncle passed away a couple of years ago, we held his post-funeral repast in this restaurant. The dim sum is authentic and delicious. It's better than anything else you'll eat in Broward County. I would have sworn that I already had done a review of this restaurant, but I can't seem to find it. Favorite items include shumai (shrimp and pork dumplings), steamed ribs, sticky rice, and ni wong bao (steamed custard buns), to name a few. Service is spotty. It can be friendly. It can be hurried and harried. But for the most part, it's okay. And the food surely overshadows it. There usually is a male manager on the dining room floor, who's very distinctive from the rest of the servers. And if you have any trouble, just call out to him and he'll make sure you get good service. Prices are not cheap but very reasonable for current dim sum rates.

Don't let the location deter you. This is an amazing restaurant amongst an industrial park. I was greeted and seated immediately. My server was wonderful. She recommended the fried shrimp balls. I ordered those along with leek/shrimp dumplings and the steamed pork dumplings. I love that they do not use carts-each dumpling order came out when they were ready-and they were steaming hot! My bill was only $19. Next time I'm bringing friends so I can try more items.

Very good Chinese Restaurant in the heart of Pembroke Pines!!! First time coming to China Pavilion and while the serve was a bit slow, the food was delicious and fresh! Large portions and great daily specials (Monday-Friday). Their lunch specials and early bird dinners are around $10-15 which come with a soup, egg roll, main course with rice, and fruity dessert (oranges). Ambience is casual nothing fancy and the overall service was okay. Next time I will come for lunch time because that's when they have Dim Sum. Highly recommend to anyone! (:

Come here for the Dim Sum. The lines on the weekend are insane - definitely best to order take out to avoid the chaos if you've already been before and had the complete experience. If you've never been, brave the lines and sit in the Dim Sum area. Try whatever looks good- because it probably is. Every time I go, I order my favorite (roast/steamed pork buns, duck paste, shrimp paste) and add a couple of items I haven't tried yet. Their menu (annotated with hearts) has a permanent spot in our kitchen.

Great dim sum place in Broward County. This restaurant has a lot creative dim sum. There are a lot customers at lunch. This must be popular even is Friday Afternoon. In the menu, we notice 5 different items that rare from normal dim sum restaurants. The first one is the durian puff. This puff has crispy crust. Real durian inside. Taste selection is suitable for American. The second dish is the duck roast pork rice roll. This roll has duck and bbq pork. It is another good creative tapas. The next dish is the steam turnip pudding. Most people pan fried the turnip. This dish put the turnip in bowl and steam. The following is the pan fried pork and vegetables roll. I recommend this dish because it has straw mushrooms and mince pork. The next fried shrimp and mango roll. This is a great dish. Stuff eggplant, soup dumplings and shrimp dumplings are our other dish. Those are good too. Love the food.

If you want chinese food, you might as well go to the Pavilion, amiright? Delicious food, Dim sum makes me happy, easy to sit and order, affordable. Helpful staff and convenient location near the Pembroke Pines Mall. The place has booths in the front and large tables in the back. Ambiance is easy, moderately loud, and bustling. We stop here often for dumplings and pork buns! Noodles here are exceptional. Thanks for being an easy yes in my book.

The Dim sum is great, especially the won ton noodle soup. I always order too much but it is still great the next day.

Food: this is my 2nd time here and both times were never disappointing. the food is always fresh, warm, and hot. Always have to get the dumplings, shrimp fun roll, congee, and turnip cake! Service: just like any Asian restaurant you will not get five star waiting lol, this is normal, I'm not saying it's an excuse, but it is what it is. Ambiance: big space enough for large families and setting.

You have a few options in South Florida for dim sum, CP lands on my top 5. Personally, I'm not a fan of carts so to have an extensive menu of not only dim sum but their dinner menu and even Chifa, it will take you years to go through all of the options! I can't say I've had anything yet that I really didn't like. I have my staples that I get every time like the rice noodle roll and the stuffed eggplant, then will try to try a few new items every visit. I did find the lobster to be just ok, but I just don't care to crack the claws with all of the sauce on it. Go if you want a big selection, large tables for a party, and delicious Chinese food.

Best Dim Sum in the Pembroke pines area or even in Miami. Located in a little shopping plaza this authentic Dim sum place delivers all homemade dumplings and plates! They have over 25+ dishes to choose from and it All comes out family style. Quick attentive service, and all locals. Truly a gem and a hole in the wall. Must try. Anything you get will truly be delicious

We were trying to find a place for dim sum while on vacation, and we found this place. Overall I thought the food was pretty good maybe not amazing. You definitely get the vibe of authentic Chinese food. The stuffed bean curd skin with shrimp was probably my favorite dim sum dish.

A local delicious & never disappoints Asian restaurant. Lunch special: Shrimp w/lobster sauce & BBQ roast pork with snow peas & mushrooms. All lunch specials come with white or fried rice & soup. All well done. Service by Tom perfect & pleasant. The restaurant itself is older, but very clean & welcoming.

The food is authentic, good flavors, and pretty consistent in food quality. However the customer service is not great. The decor and mediocre cleanliness of the dining area really isn't something I can get used to. It's incredibly busy on the weekend due to dim sum and that's when the service goes from poor to worse. If you can look past poor service and below satisfactory ambiance, then this is a good place to get your fix of authentic Chinese food.

Last night I ordered from China Pavillion. My order came to $45 for I person. O am not arguing about the price of my order, what I am upset sbout the attitude of the young lady taking the order. She was extremely nasty without reason. I think this is one of the best restaurants in SOUTH FLA but I don't need the attitud e. They charged me a delivery charge and the delivery man was begging for a tip. What was the delivery charge for? For the $$$ I spent in the restaurant, they gave me PACKETS of duck sauce and mustard which does not enhance the food. WHAT IS THAT SAYING? THEY DONT GIVE A F**K

My last visit to China pavilion was not up to snuff. Previously, I've had excellent food here and prompt, courteous service. This time the service seemed mechanical, was very much mistimed, and one dish was completely off. I have had twice cooked pork there before. This time it was just pork belly, fat, and not the good way, but that's featured on certain Chef TV shows. More like the textureless pieces in canned beans. They did take it back without argument. The batter on the salt and pepper shrimp seemed heavier than before, and things were just not as good as a few months ago.

My friends have been talking about this restaurant for years and the timing worked out to where I was finally able to check it out. We enjoyed an absolute symphony of flavors and textures! We waited about 20 minutes for a table to open up (Saturday morning, Chinese New Year, no less) and were quickly seated in a comfortable booth with plenty of room for the goodies about to be delivered. All of the servers and hostesses were super friendly and tentative. We were given a laminated menu with images of some of their best sellers, along with a paper menu and pencil to make our selections. As this was my first time, I allowed my friends to guide us through this culinary journey and it was well worth it. We ordered shrimp wonton noodle soup, pork and shrimp shumai (top notch with some Worcestershire and chili oil), roast pork buns, egg custard buns, crispy shrimp and mango rolls, fried gold lava buns, stuffed eggplant, chicken udon, black pepper short rib, and massive sesame balls. The hot tea we ordered was very floral and really hot the spot. Honestly, I don't have a single bad thing to say about any of it, I would re-order every dish. It was my first time having the gold lava buns and they were probably the biggest pleasant surprise, since I didn't even know what they were before we ordered, and egg dishes can sometimes be a bit sulphuric - but these were sweet, creamy, and rich, like a dessert. The textures of all of the different items were also very pleasing; the steamed buns delicately soft and squishy, the dumplings and shrimp were firm with nice bite. I definitely look forward to my next visit!

My family went all out for dim sum! We arrived before they even opened at 1030 on a Sunday and by 11a almost every table was full. Everything was delicious, the place was so clean and the service was great. I can't even say what my faves were. Third pic of the meal AFTER the meal was not even taken bc I was so full and tired. My Dad wanted to take advantage of our visit and order all these other full dishes to compare to another restaurant our family would go to. Happy to say I think China Pavillon is the winner

One of the best dim sum restaurants I've visited in south Florida! Inside is very spacious and clean. Once you're seated, you order off the menu provided (unfortunately, dim sum cart service is not offered here). My favorite item menu is the fried shrimp mango roll! And getting the steamed shrimp & pork shu mai is a must. A drawback is the wait time, every time I've visited there is an extensive wait time (minimum 1hr!) because of how busy this place gets. But the food is delicious, so I'd say visiting is still worth it - just be prepared to wait.

Year after year, China pavilion delivers! Hong Kong/New York style dim sum ordering from a menu note carts here, but they come out fresh fast and delicious. Some of my faves are the Spring roll with pork, barbecued baked pork bun, Siu Mai, shrimp rice paste, eggplant stuffed shrimp, and the fried custard puffs. Service is pretty efficient you have your individual server and a lot of people are bringing out the dim sum items. You can pretty much ask anybody for anything and they'll help you out. I always ask for a hot tea and a soda and they're pretty quick to clean up used plates. It's a lively location especially during dim sum on the weekends. Lots of Chinese families eat there so you know it's pretty authentic. There's gonna be a wait at times on the weekend so best to get there early in the morning if you want to get in and out.

The place was packed. It was Labor Day weekend and that was to be expected. But yet, inside the restaurant everything moved like clock work. A friend of mine, a long time client of the China Pavilion, recommended the dim sum, and literally said that at China Pavilion they were the best. The wait wasn't long despite the many other patrons. My friend was recognized by the staff and that in itself is the greatest sign of great service. I was looking forward to what laid ahead, the food, and when it eventually arrived I wasn't disappointed. My friend ordered a bit of everything and with the rotating table, our party of six tried it all, shared it all and enjoyed it all. If you're in the area and feel like eating dim sum, I highly recommend China Pavilion. The flavors, the ambience, and the service and the quality and authenticity of the food won't disappoint!

We have been coming here for the last 5 years. Best dim sum restaurant in the Fort Lauderdale area. We always order too many dishes and end up taking at least half home. Food is still excellent the next day! Could be crowded and have to wait depending on day and time

When you go to a restaurant in 90% of the people attending from the same country, then you know you stumbled upon something very great.

Been here a handful of times for Sunday dim sum with some friends & fam. It does get really busy so we get here on the early side of lunch to get a table. Mostly authentic style dim sum and atmosphere including crying babies and families talking loudly to each other. Dim Sum is order on paper, no old school steam cart action. We tend to order the same things each time, so whatever. All the staples and some noodle dishes for everybody. We never had any issues with the quality of food, all pretty good, comes out steamy & sizzlin' hot to our table. The food comes out pretty fast, so get your engines ready! Pro-tip: if you want leftovers of something, go ahead and over order up front, sometimes they run out of some of the popular items. Staff ladies are friendly and efficient, will remember you and make small talk. They are quick to clear empty plates, bring out any take-out boxes for you, get your bill so you can pay and flip the table for the next sitting. Price is what we expected it to be, so it just comes down to fighting over the bill. Overall, good dim sum spot, will continue to come here!

Back at China Pavilion after a while. There was no wait at about 6pm. The good is really good here but service is lacking. My husband got his food (duck) and it was a lot mg time before I received mine. Nevertheless, my shrimp with garlic sauce was scrumptious: Large, fresh shrimp perfectly cooked and plenty of veggies. Worth it to return for this dish!

Admittedly the last time I was here was quite a few years ago, however, in my experience this is the best place for dim sum in south Florida. I used to take my great aunts here fairly often and the food was always consistently good, and the prices reasonable, taking into consideration that most people order quite a bit. Definitely worth it. Ambiance is a little diner-esque butttttt who cares when the food is this good.

We love this place!! The food is always good. It's our uncle's favorite restaurant so he always wants to go here. If you come for dim sum, be prepared to wait but it's worth it.

I still consider this place the best damn dim sum restaurant ever. The menu is delish and the main menu is even great with lots of seafood options. But I come for the dim sum. I always order the same things. Pork and vegtable rolls, pork and shrimp shumai, chicken feet, the spare ribs, the veal. It's just absolutely delicious. If I can fit anything else in I'll get the sponge cake or the tripe or the bok choy.We always order a pot of tea to help digest the food as well. I suggest preparing to wait when you come because this place is always packed. The dim sum menu only runs to 3 pm but they serve the regular menu all day.

First of all, the server we had was a nightmare because customer service she did not have a good attitude and was not welcoming . A tall waitress with gray hair Horrible Second, the food was horrible. Let's start with shrimp in lobster sauce. Disgusting and full of water. The chicken and broccoli was bland with no color or flavor. It was like steamed chicken and broccoli. Lastly, we are good customers who appreciate good service. The service sucked and the food Sucked more. Never again

Me and my family have come to this restaurant for years. We are Peruvian so we always order from the Chifa menu. As a Peruvian the Peruvian Chinese food is amazing, and authentic! The servers have always been nice and some of them speak Spanish too! I will always recommend this restaurant if people want to eat Peruvian Chinese food. We always get the wontons, wonton soup, chaufa fried rice special, tallarín saltado, kamlu wonton, and the pollo chi jay Kay! And I love that they provide fruit at the end of the meal! Me and my family always wash our hands before eating and the bathrooms and the restaurant in general has always been clean!

China Pavilion is such an honorable mention! I love to bring all of my out of town family here, mostly because they have the BEST Peruvian Chifa. A mix of authentic Chinese Peruvian flavors with their own respective menu. Their dim sum is also so fresh and delicious. A few dishes that should be at the TOP of your list are *arroz chufa - Peruvian Chinese rice that packs so much flavor. * chicharon de pollo or deep fried chicken *mixed wonton soup- trust me, get the big bowl if you're with more than 3 people *every dim sum I've had was delicious but my favorite were the pork buns

If you're looking for the best Chinese food in West Broward then look no further. I've been eating at and getting deliveries from China pavilion for years. I also have been there many times for their lunchtime dim sum which I also believe is the best in Broward. Their sliced pork is my favorite, but you can never go wrong with beef and broccoli, they mixed soup.

A stable dim sum joint for us. I like them better than ten ten since it's smaller and faster. Prices are slightly better too. Nevertheless, highly recommend it whenever you're craving some Cantonese food

Went for the dumplings but the end the dumpling service at 4PM. We got and egg roll and a spring roll, the egg was extremely greasy and the spring roll was still partly frozen in the middle. Our local Chinese is much better. Won't be visiting again.

Still my favorite Chinese in miami. It's worth driving from brickell (30 min) for a great dim sum. 5 stars.
