We had a good dining experience at Fu Li Lai, I would say one of the most authentic Chinese restaurants I’ve tried in Berlin. If you’re into bold flavors, spice, and a real taste of home-style Chinese cooking, this place is a must-visit!
we ordered:
Stir-Fried String Beans – Bursting with garlic and wok hei, beautifully blistered and flavorful.
Braised Pork Hunan Style – Deep, rich flavors with a pleasant kick of heat. The pork was melt-in-your-mouth tender.
Sautéed Beef with Celery – Light, fragrant, and comforting. Great contrast between tender beef and crunchy celery.
Chinese Burger (Rou Jia Mo) – The flaky bun and juicy pork filling were absolute perfection.
Chicken Feet dish – If you're an adventurous eater, don’t miss this one! Bit Spicy and deliciously gelatinous.
Cold Salads – A great mix of spicy, tangy, and refreshing starters that balanced the hot dishes perfectly.
The staff was friendly, efficient, and happy to guide us through the menu. The vibe is casual but cozy, and the flavors speak for themselves.
If you're looking for real Chinese flavors and not just Westernized versions, Fu Li Lai should be at the top of your Berlin food list. Can’t wait to go back and explore more from the menu!
