The food was good with large portions. A good value! This is more of a take out restaurant; there were a couple of tables to eat at, but it is pretty basic, with not much "atmosphere ". Overall, though, I liked it, and will go back again.

Incredible. About as close to a real city chinese food experience as you can get. Fresh fast cheap and delicious. Don't bother going anywhere else in Mankato or St Peter. This place is it

The food was made fresh the minute we ordered it! So good! The cream cheese wontons are amazing and so was my sesame chicken! Only good things to say about this place!

Been eating there for years; its my go to spot to eat. I never had problems with my order and the food is good. The food portions are also reasonable with the price. Drinks? They don't have fountain drinks so you gotta buy small 20 fl oz bottled drinks, there nothing wrong that. They change the drink options from time to time but they have usually coke stuff and; they sometimes have unique items like drinks from Asia so that's cool.

The food is very bland. Ordered fried rice and it's yellow with absolutely no taste or veggies. The food isn't worth the price.

Update 12/12/24: I've lowered the rating due to aggressive price hikes and portion size reduction. Over the past year the price of the lunch "specials" has been raised nearly 50% (it was $6.57 after tax, now it is well over $9), and as of my last visit they are now using much smaller containers. The biggest selling point of visiting this restaurant was the value of the food you get for the price you pay. The value is now completely gone, and unfortunately for me that means I may never eat here again. Previous review: The food is generally good - sometimes the rice is fresh, the beef can be a little chewy, the cream cheese wontons are very good. I recommend one of the lunch specials with garlic sauce. I've been going here for approximately a decade, and my co-workers and I greatly miss the buffet. They have assured me they have no plans to reinstate the buffet unfortunately, and this has drastically reduced the number of times I eat here every year. The prices have also increased recently so the value is not what it once was. Overall, this is a decent place to eat lunch in a town with very few options, but there is a lot of room for them to improve.

So good. Please never change. If this place was within 20 minutes of my home, I'd be ordering takeout once a week until I've tried the entire menu. And I would be getting curry chicken for lunch once a week! So good, like I'm getting hungry just writing about it.

Lots of food for each entree. Fast service. Mainly a to go place. Like their cream cheese wontons but don't care for their egg rolls too doughy.

Although a touch expensive, the food is consistently fresh and tasty. Staff also seems engaged and friendly. Lightening fast delivery!

Fast and good value. Wontons were crunchy hot and fresh. Sweet and sour chicken pleased the kids. Two entrees will easily feed four people. We often order three to plan for plenty of leftovers. We recently ordered a combo dragon and Phoenix, which was the classic deep fried general Tso's chicken and a shrimp and vegetable dish. They were both mildly spicy and quite sweet. They used a frozen diced pea and carrot blend as some of the vegetable. I would not personally choose that entree combo again. Overall much better than other area Chinese food, and it is locally owned and operated. I am glad they are in Saint Peter!

Great place to stop while driving through St Peter, which is what most people that visit St Peter do, they drive through. I had been driving for a while and needed fuel, for me! This is right on the main drag, was fast and the food was really good. I had the Curried Chicken lunch special which came with the MN staple "fried wonton". The wontons were the bomb and the curried chicken was really good. Hot and fresh with lots of veggies. A great lunch deal and I was back on the road and out of town in no time. Don't get me wrong, I like St Peter and the little shops and great coffee place that happens to be right across the street but for quick spicy food this was perfect stop. KT

First time doing delivery and I have to say it was awful. I ordered Beef Chow Mein which is a dish that is served with noodles and it states on the website that it is served with noodles as well. It was simply just beef and celery which is not the dish we wanted. They were also disrespectful over the phone as well not even allowing us to get a word out. They did not even offer a refund. I will never go to this place ever again and do not recommend it to anyone to try.

The best Chinese place for vegetarians!!!! Got all the flavors that you wouldn't miss the meat. My to go dishes are General Tsos tofu and vegetable lomein. Food always comes hot fresh, fast and super friendly service every time.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Called at 2:45pm to order the lunch special and they said it was too close to 3 to get the lunch special. They delivered before 3pm, which also means it probably wasn't very fresh, I called to ask if I could get the lunch special price since it was delivered before 3pm, which is when it is suppose to be done, and they then gave me the excuse that it is only for pickup!!!! No where on there website did it say only for pickup!! The lady said sorry and hung up on me.

Amazing hot and sour soup on a cold blizzard day! Came down with the boys who also scarfted down their meals. A true St. Peter hidden gem.

The food was delicious. Hot and sour soup was so good...had a little different flavor then most hot and sours. Staff was friendly :-)

Stopped here for a quick lunch while on a photo odyssey in St. Peter/Mankato. Very good and cheap Chinese food. I had a spicy shrimp dish. It contained a LOT of shrimp and it was very good. I don't get down this way much, but would recommend it to anyone driving through the area as a good quick lunch/dinner stop if you want Chinese. Judging by the high volume of take-out that happened while I was there, it's already popular with the locals.

Been ordering here for years, I ordered seasame chicken no broccoli and the taste was horrible, I spit it out, I called and asked if they were trying something new, she said no, it just didn't sit well with me that I paid for food that was uneatable so I rode bike down there to get a refund, the guy who does the cooking and the deliveries who is always friendly had a huge fit, grabbed the container out of my hand, threw it in the garbage, said something in another language which I wish I would of understood. Very unprofessional, we will never order from there again

I wander here any time I need to feed my General Tso's fix. There's nothing fancy about the restaurant, but the price is great and the food is tasty.

First off the woman who answered the phone could barely speak english and her accent was so thick my husband could barely understand her... our order got to us fast and the delivery guy was super nice... when we opened our food it was not correct (we ordered chow mein and there was no noddles) i called back and apperently they only serve noodles on saturday (i guess she explained this to my husband but since he could not understand her i guess thats partially our fault) we decided to roll with it and the food was very tasty until i found a hair halfway down my sons throat... i just figured it was one of mine until i found 3 more hairs 2 of which were not my hair color... at this point i took the food from my family and we had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches... i wish this place had worked out but for the 40 bucks plus tip we spent, i am super sad all the food went to waste...

I really miss my Chinese restaurants in St. Paul. This is by far the best one in the area. The prices are great, food tastes fresh, you watch them make it, and I love how she writes your order in Chinese! Their cream cheese wontons are unique and delicious.

This is by far my favorite Chinese food in southern minnesota. We order every weekend. We have always gotten delivery, and the people are nice, and very fast! They always say 30 minutes, and most times they arrive in way less than that. The food is delicious and even my vegetarian daughter loves it! Definitely a win for the whole family, and easy on the budget also.

I recommend the sesame chicken. Inexpensive menu and very quick workers. Friendly!

Delicious American Chinese food. Highly recommend the General Tso's chicken, and there's a ton of food you can get for under 8 bucks. Comes with an order of rice, and they deliver usually in about 15 minutes. Give them a call next time you're craving some Chinese.
