Chinatown Street Market

A lively street market where you can find everything from food and drinks to souvenirs, clothes, and durians if you are feeling brave. Rows of shophouses, market stalls, cafes, restaurants and bars and an indoor market makes this a fabulous place to visit and a must for even the most jaded visitors to Singapore. The Buddha tooth relic temple has an impressive exterior and is worth entering. But please be respectful and dress and behave appropriately. Also drop in at the Thian Hock Keng Temple. The Chinatown visitors centre is helpful and the Chinatown heritage centre is informative. In addition to the expected markets , Chinese herbalists and food stalls you will find some chi chi homewares and vintage stores for a change of pace. There are accessible parking bays in the shopping centre and an accessibility map.

This street in Chinatown and Bugis Street are the most popular streets to hunt for souvenirs. Though I have to say that this place had cheaper and more unique things than Bugis Street. There are also many shops with fake brand items. Perfect to spend a few hours shopping!

This is one of THE places to visit in SG with its rich cultural heritage and quaint 2-storey pre-war shophouses restored and conserved to present commercial retail spaces. There is Chinatown Complex hawker centre adjacent to it and People's Park food centre opposite that offer local delicacies at very affordable prices.

A must go place in Singapore. Buddha Tooth Temple - get to soak in the peaceful and serene environment. Most importantly positive energy. Lots of shops selling delicious and affordable food. Always bustling with visitors, and you’ll find eateries and local snacks at every corner. Maxwell food centre is a good choice for a quick meal and refreshments.
