Chinese Theatre Circle

I'm not an opera fan, much less Chinese opera, but this was thoroughly interesting. The hostess was very much into her trade and it showed. It was well worth a couple hours to learn about Chinese opera and see a short scene. We didn't eat there, but the area has lots of restaurants and street vendors.

Food tasted like a home cooked meal. Very informative and interesting lesson on the history of Chinese opera. They only performed one song but it was top notch! I would go again. They perform different songs every night.

It was so amazing to learn about Chinese opera. Even if you aren't a big fan of opera this is still worth the visit because it shows so much culture, tradition, and history. Go and support this artform. The small opera performance is beautiful and skillfully done.

Looks like an interesting place but doesn’t look like there is any events happening at the moment.

More about explanations than a show itself. The teacher is very good and you may learn some stuff for beginners, but very short and disappointing...

Ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis! Unbedingt in das kleine, sehr liebevoll hergerichtete „Chinese Theatre Circle“ gehen und in die Welt der chinesisch-kantonesischen Oper eintauchen! Es lohnt sich! Wir waren entzückt mit wie viel Begeisterung, auch für ein kleines Publikum, die Kostüme und das Make-Up in Szene gesetzt wurden. Spannende und nützliche Infos gab es zudem auch zum Thema. Und wir waren am Ende der Vorstellung zu Tränen gerührt, da wir es so schön fanden. Es macht sehr viel Lust und Neugier auf eine vollständige kantonesische Oper!
