Truly tasty and diverse menu. Family Dinner was again another delicious experience. Coconut Shrimp in Mango sauce was perfect prepared, we added a hint of the Peking Duck rollls sauce for an extra kick and it was so tasty. Peking Duck rolls are my Fav appetizer on the menu. Reminded me of my Fav Asian spot in Paris. So good! Steamed pork dumplings were perfect. Ginger balanced it off really well. Drinks were also mixed well. Lychee Martini and Mango Lemonade were a party in your mouth. Staff was very courteous and professional. Fav Asian Fusion in CT.

I love ordering their lunch specials. It’s a great value and truly some of the best Chinese food in the area. The Sesame Chicken is exceptional, perfectly crispy with amazing flavor, and the hot and sour soup is easily the best I’ve ever had. Takeout portions are very generous, and the staff is always friendly and efficient, with my order ready right when I arrive. Consistently an excellent experience!

Not far off the Merritt Parkway (Rt 15), my wife and I decided to hop off the highway and have dinner in New Canaan at Ching's. The town of New Canaan is quaint full of beautiful homes and uber rich people. We parked at a large parking lot around the corner. I had the crispy chicken and shrimp (see pic). It was absolutely delicious with the right amount of heat and flavor. Definitely worth the drop in.

Delicious food (generous portions), friendly service, in a pleasant setting. During the week, lunch specials are a great deal. On my second visit, had amazing roasted duck. Highly recommend.

Small but great place to have family lunch including children on the weekend. Stuffs are great and good foods, and I just wish if they have wider menu selection.

This is such cute little place with such delicious food. If you are looking for a place to eat that you know anything you eat you will like it, well this is the place. I have been coming hear for over 10 years and still love it. For a restaurant in New Cannan, it is actually a very accessible menu price wise. Atmosphere is very calm and it simply has a very nice vibe to it. As for parking, very easy to find on the street or around the corner from the fire department, it’s free after 4:00pm. Service is great all through out!

Ordered 2 Wonton Soups, and Spring Rolls. Wonton soup had no flavor and some sort of green vegetable floating in it, wontons had hardly any filling or flavor. Spring Rolls hardly any filling or flavor

Solid lunch meal today. Seems like the place is cleaned up a bit. Been there before, but the floor was sticky so I walked out. Please was somewhat busy for a lunch hour. Service was exceptional.

We came here after this place was on Instagram. We ate here on Christmas Eve, and the place was packed with takeout orders. People were waiting for hours, but thank God we didn't order takeout. We sat, and the food came out fast. We had the wok beef tenderloin and a curry seafood dish. They were both delicious. Service was a bit weak, but the waiter was still nice. We chalk that up to how busy the place was. The place was clean and standard-looking, nothing special. Overall, the food was surprisingly tasty and elevated compared with most.

I had a family lunch here yesterday with several small children. First the staffs were such a great for us and for small children. Food they prepared was superb and good for both adults and children. Menu selection was not so wide but we could all choose what we want. If they have wider menu I may give 5 stars instead of 4. I see and feel very good quality of ingredients used. This place was my son's choice and great choice after all.

So good. Honestly was best Chinese food in the area. Service was good food was fast and was top notch...

Tried two lunch specials, General Tso's chicken and beef with broccoli. Came with soup, so we chose the wonton soup and hot and sour soup. Both soups were good. Took a bite of the General Tso's and noticed it was spicy. Normally, I don't find it is spicy. Had a couple more bites, and had to stop because I was now tearing up. Fortunately, my husband Loves spicy, so we switched. And the beef and broccoli was sooo good. I just have to pay attention next time for any mention of spiciness. Warmly greeted and quick turnaround. Lots of people there. Will have to try something different next time .

Chings Table has always been my absolute go-to, favorite place to eat my entire life!!!! Without a doubt the best pan-Asian fusion restaurant in Fairfield County! An unrivaled and unparalleled Asian experience that deserves to be praised!! The food comes out quickly! Always delicious!! Extremely kind staff that provides a personable touch to the community! Really happy to support this place time and time again! Cozy and often seasonably decorated with a relaxed, casual bar with a TV. I mainly do takeout but that's not a knock on the quality of the establishment. Always friendly and happy to see familiar faces! Your biggest fan!! 7695 ;)

I dined in for the first time there a few weeks ago as my BF likes this place. The service was very good, friendly staff. I found the menu interesting. I got the Thai curry and it was ok. The crispy chicken is the go to dish there.

Went to Ching's Table last weekend and ordered the Chilean Sea Bass. The smell and taste of cleaning solvent or ammonia in my fish was so overwhelming and disgusting. After telling the waiter who of course apologized and offered me something else, I was not interested. Amazing how they did not notice this while cooking it. Who knows what else goes on in that kitchen! Will obviously not be back ever.

I hadn't been since before Covid and remembered Ching's Table as a quiet, flavorful place that I wanted to revisit. The Calamari Salad is amazing. The Singapore noodles with shrimp are excellent. The Wok Chicken was perfectly balanced. We will be going back!

My partner and stepdaughter and I went for dinner at Ching's Table in November of this year. We are from Ridgefield but love their food so ventured out of town. Our server was great but the meal ended with unfair treatment from their hostess / manager and patrons waiting for a table. We were finishing our meal and drinks and about every two minutes the hostess, and manager would come hover over the table applying non-verbal pressure for us to hurry and pay. When we asked to see a dessert menu the hostess jumped in and said they don't have dessert. When we questioned that she changed her answer and brought over a menu. We did not order dessert but were upset that we were being rushed out. As this was happening one of the patrons awaiting a table would come over and stand behind my partner to survey our table and others. There was no long wait it was her party and another couple. She should have been asked to wait politely in the vestibule. Finally we paid and left and I shared my opinion with the hostess - it's not nice to pressure us when we are trying to finish a meal. As a place with a long history and reputation for good food and fast service this was unacceptable treatment. We will NEVER eat here again. I'm not sure if we would be treated better as locals but this was an embarrassment to such an affluent town. Server was lovely so no fault of his.

The lunch menu is delicious, prepared promptly and reasonably priced. The Chopped Salmon Salad is fantastic.

Great foods and friendly staff. The Peking duck appetizer is awesome. I highly recommend this place.

I grew up in New Canaan and I always loved Ching's Table. I was in town yesterday visiting my parents and called in my standard order. It was atrocious! The sesame chicken @ Ching's Table was always the gold standard in what sesame chicken should be, handily beating out other great places like Village Gourmet in Norwalk. Sadly the sesame chicken was a little too crispy with many pieces being burnt. The taste was off and it was obviously due to the oil used not being changed regularly. A few of the pieces were as I expected and just made the bad pieces that much worse. The spring rolls were serviceable but nothing spectacular. No sauce was provided for them either. Bummer. The corwning jewel was the "fried rice". It looked like someone tossed white rice across a dirty pan for a split second. There was zero flavor or seasoning. The veg was nothing more than broccoli and peas. No carrots. No green onion. Nothing but broccoli and peas. Idk if this is some new health trend or what but I have never had fried rice with broccoli in it. Absolutely disgusting.

Been going to this restaurant for many years and have alway enjoyed the experience. Tonight I have to say that my latest experience was simply awful. Poor food quantity possibly the worst Asian food I have ever been served. Oh did I say served, well that was non existent also. Our server barely managed to do the job requiring others to attend to and deliver service to us. "Do Better" Ching's Table.

Best Asian food in the area. Take out quick no wait! Shrimp tempura was very good. Like the pan fried dumplings and peanut sauce.

Positively Incredible Pan Asian. The food is fantastic and delicious, from the scrumptious dumplings to the yummy fried rice, plus the bartender makes an amazing heavy-poured Jack and Coke. I'll have to try the desserts sometime! Service is fairly nice and prompt, and pretty funny sometimes too. The Ambiance is alright, it's fairly crowded sometimes so it should make for a fun experience. 10/10, Good food and Good Time

This place is our weekly Sunday night takeout spot! Delicious comfort food at an incredibly great price! We always get the wonton soups, chicken lettuce wraps, vegetable fried rice, and sometimes the pad Thai & spring rolls. They have ALWAYS been 15-20mins wait time which is outstandingly fast for takeout (we call in). Just consistently yummy takeout with very friendly staff! This has been our weekly go to spot every week, and will continue to be so for years to come!

Don't go to chings if you arrive 15 minutes before 9. They tell you the kitchen is closing to please order quickly. Ok, fair enough. Did so. Ordered two soups, duck spring rolls and one entree to share. The soups were not even luke warm. Sent them back politely. They returned, not one degree hotter. Sent one back. Returned, absolutely zero improvement. The main course was dumped on the table. A server came to say that kitchen closed, can't help it. And very sorry. I replied that once we were seated we should have been served properly. Or else not seated. So while my soup was getting hot (not really), the main course was getting cold right in front of me. Apologies galore but couldn't do anything about it and problem was of course kitchen closed. Zero responsibility or accountability. Basically my problem. Then the spring rolls were served. Piping hot, no duck seen or tasted. Hell might freeze over before I come back.

Stay away from this place! I called and made a reservation under my name, got there 20 minutes later and the very-busy-to-smile hostess didn't have my name in the hand written list... Well, that happens. Anyway, they gave us a table and forgot about us for a good 15 minutes. The server never asked us if we wanted water, but thank goodness he brought us three diet cokes. I asked for straws, but I only got one (is it hard to bring straws for everybody?). We ordered food and waited for 50 minutes to get it while others, who came much later, got their food and drinks served just promptly. I wanted to get some water at last and got tired of constantly looking for our server so I called another server, but she didn't even turn her head... Well, after 50 minutes we got our food and it was, unfortunately, of poor quality -- over fried, over sweetened and just tasteless. Will never come back. Terrible service + tasteless food + greasy table = 1 star!

We ordered ginger duck, Thai crab cakes, Thai curry casserole, caramelized chicken, crispy red snapper and beef chow Hor. Everything passed the expectation of our table of six.

This is my new go to Chinese restaurant. Sesame chicken is amazing, moo shu pork so good. Fried rice, fried dumplings, pad Thai, spring rolls, lettuce,m wraps all just fantastic! So many menu options to choose from.

I went to Ching's Table yesterday with my friend for the first time and loved it! I had the Lemon drop Martini on the rocks and we shared the duck spring rolls, duck pot stickers, Szechuan dumplings and honey ribs dish and they were all fabulous. The decor and service were great as well. Looking forward to returning many times.

Great spot for lunch in New Canaan. They offer a two course meal for $12.95, and we ended up getting a Tonkotsu Ramen with Chicken and Chicken Satay combo, and a Curry Ramen with Ribs with a Vietnamese Summer Roll. We also ordered a Pan Seared Sesame Tuna off their dinner menu, as well as scallion pancakes. Each dish was delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised by their ramen dishes (which are lunch exclusive by the way). The tonkotsu ramen doesn't come with the usual soft boiled egg and chashu pork, but the broth flavor is spot on. I would definitely recommend getting tonkotsu with the honey ribs. Although the chicken was okay, the ribs were very tender and bursting with flavor. Overall, great meal and friendly service. Looking forward to making this my regular lunch spot!

This place is crazy good. They take typical pan Asian offerings and improve them. The prices are a little higher too but you're paying for quality and location. The fire wok is all the best seafood (lobster, scallops) in a fiery Thai curry. Also the best moo shu pork I've ever had (hand cut pork I would guess, juicy and tender).

Food is great - no delivery - bad in this environment. Today a restaurant needs delivery to be competitive

Ah. The place is ok. Very heavy oil use. The steamed dumplings were fantastic. The duck potsticks were good but oily. Hot and sour soup was very good and the wanton seaweed soup was ok The chow fun was way way way too oily. The veggie pad Thai was excellent. The ambiance was a bit eclectic but tasteful fast food delivery but they didn't clear the table betwee. Courses so that was awkward and they asked me to hand onto my fork. Really? This restaurant is way too expensive to be asking you keep your fork. No sure I will give it a second chance.

Ching's Table, albeit fancier and cleanlier than most Chinese restaurants, is just one out of the many establishments in CT that serve overpriced, unauthentic Asian food. We ordered the chicken Tonkatsu ramen and the ginger chicken with white rice and were not surprised by the following let down. The ramen appeared to be straight out of a 75 cent ramen package, with broth that was salty, watery and tasted nothing like Tonkatsu. They did give a lot of chicken, which is appreciated as many restaurants can get a bit stingy with meat, but the bowl in its entirety was a disappointment. The ginger chicken on the other hand, was loaded with sauce as many faux Chinese dishes are, and was topped with ginger you usually see in a Japanese bento box. You would think that "ginger chicken" would contain fresh ginger... but no, they took the odd and easy way out. Moreover, the white rice came in a small dish the size of an ashtray, which was devoured in two large bites. On a good note, service was good and the restaurant possessed a nice modern ambience. Unfortunately that is not enough to make me come back.

I've been ordering from Ching's Table for over 20 years. I travel 30-35 minutes to get to New Canaan from Fairfield CT. I always felt it was worth the time in order to enjoy one of the finest Pan Asian Restaurants on the East Coast. Sadly I will not be making that trip again. I'm not sure what has happened but the quality of the food at Ching's is no longer the standard bearer for excellence. On the contrary, it has slipped into mediocrity. Three times in the past year I've been disappointed with the ginger scallion duck, tempura shrimp and several other signature dishes I've enjoyed over the years. I will miss this once fine Jewel of a restaurant.

We ordered take out tonite.. it was awful., the fried rice was boiled rice with a few strips of pork which was gross and a few peas.. tasteless, the chicken and broccoli was inedible.. tough thin sliced dried chicken and hard broccoli.. will never go back. $60 worth of food in the garbage.

This was our first visit to Ching's Table and the food was delicious. The staff on the other hand was not as attentive as they should have been. It wasn't very busy in the dining room and the few tables that were there all were complaining of slow service. If they improved their service I would give the rating of 5 stars but until them it is a 4.

Between 5 and 10 years ago, I used to eat at Wild Ginger in Ridgefield at least once a month. I loved the food and the price was right. I always knew that Wild Ginger had a sister location here in New Canaan, but never found the opportunity to check it out. Well, a Ching's Table gift card gave me that opportunity today. We decided to visit for lunch and were very pleasantly surprised by the generous deal offered on the seasonal lunch special menu. $10.50 for a two course meal. The options looked good, some items familiar some not. I went with the satay chicken to start followed by general tso chicken. Wow, what a deal. The food was even better than what I remember from Wild Ginger and for such a reasonable price. If we lived a little closer, I'd probably visit at least once a month for lunch. Next time I'm going to get the crispy snapper. It wasn't on the lunch special menu, but was on the regular lunch menu for around $13. This was one of my absolute favorites at WG - and at an even better price (about $5 cheaper)! Glad to see Alan Lee is still doing well here in New Canaan. I'll be back!

Outstanding Meal at a New Canaan Stalwart Ching's Table has always been one of our favorite Asian restaurants in the area, but it had been some time since we last dined there. We met friends for dinner before local theater and we all agreed the food was outstanding. Our server was helpful in recommending menu choices.We had a range of appetizers including Dim Sum, the Vietnamese summer roles, and the Sichuan dumplings. As a main course, the pan roasted chilean sea bass was outstanding, as was the Thai coconut curry casserole. This is a busy place and the noise level is typical of popular restaurants in the area, which is to say high. But we were very pleased and won't let so much time go by before we patronize Ching's again.

Ching's Table is NOT what it used to be. Had dinner just now and I actually feel sick. Dim Sum was way too salty and tasted foul. Dipping sauce was awful as they are now using cheap soy sauce. Pan fried dumplings are better from Trader Joe's frozen section. Pad Thai noodles were too soft and the whole dish lacked flavor - worse yet were the lame frozen tiny shrimp! Taking a pass indefinitely. No wonder the place looks empty on many nights.

Most delicious gluten free Chinese food I've ever had, and I've been looking for a decade! The waitstaff were incredibly kind, especially to my 1-year-old, who also loved the food!

I wish I could give zero stars! They used to have great food. Unfortunately they have had a rapid decline in their quality. In addition extremely rude staff that argue with you about your dish being inedible. Terrible food and customer service. Beware!

Chings Table is by far my favorite Asian fusion restaurant ever. I have been to many different places and every single places lacks the amount of flavor and freshness Chings always brings to the table. From their amazing lunch specials to their dinner, everything is always delicious. I moved out of CT and go to Chings every single time I visit. Their Szechuan dumplings are a MUST try if you haven't already. Not sure why this place has gotten 3.5 stars because wow. Although, I will say this! Last time I went there and had their chicken dumplings, I noticed they had a different wrapper...which was disappointing because the texture of the other once it was fried was amazing...the dumpling was still really good but I highly suggest they go back to their original wrapper for those dumplings.

Food was awesome with great service. We ordered quite a few dishes and they all tasted great, but the crab cake, filet mignon with shrimp and shrimp pad Thai stood out and were our favorites. Definitely worth trying.

As a Chineese restaurant I was totally disappointed by their food for example the ginger chicken should be cooked with ginger not by placing ginger strips on the chicken after it's cooked. Also the rice portions in the price fixe was very small. This restaurant needs to start cooking authentic chineese food not the fake dishes they are currently pushing on unsuspecting patrons.

Decided to have lunch here today. The lunch menu had a good selection of options beginning with an appetizer and a main dish. We've been here before bout have to say the food was beyond tasteless. The Vietnamese spring rolls were fine. The Japanese ramen with honey ribs was unremarkable. In fact a can of Campbell's chicken noodle soup would have had more taste and flavor. My wife had the chicken dumplings (meh) and the sesame crusted salmon. The salmon itself had zero flavor and was like cardboard. Have to say the waiter was friendly. And the place is very clean and neat however the food at least all lunch today was disappointing.

Fire wok delicious! Always yummy and kind employees.... Isn't the fanciest or most exciting atmosphere but food is flavorful and we have never been disappointed

Delicious!! I got the curry and my grandpa got the lobster tail with eggplant. It was really good- different than any other quick Asian food restaurant. It was gourmet at reasonable prices

i like thai and chinese cuisine, and chings is some of the best asian-fusion food I have had in CT. Worth a trip into New Canaan. there were a lot of options for vegetarians, with very good service even when they are busy. i like the pad thai here, and we had some ice cream (i think it was green tea) that also was interesting. parking in New Canaan isn't too hard if you know where to look.. circle around a few times and you can usually find a spot within walking distance.

This is my favorite restaurant to have dinner with my family. I love their seafood dishes, like crispy red snapper, fire wok, Asian black bean sea bass ... I tried them one by one, love them all. We've been their customer for many years and will keeping go there. Have to give them a thumbs-up

We ate at Chings Table yesterday. As we were leaving, I watched two guys joking around in the kitchen WITHOUT MASKS and one sneezed about twenty times all over everything...all in the middle of surging numbers of COVID-19. When I mentioned it to the owner, she did not seem to care. Complete disrespect for their customers and also against the law to not be wearing masks. I thought it was important to let people know.
