Yelp
Always good!! We've been going to Chino for 15+years. Unique combinations of really good food. Large dinning room. Walk up order they will help you with selecting item just let them know you're a newbie. The jade red chicken is kinda like a sweet spicy chicken. They use corn starch instead of flour to coat. I like the black beans they are spicy. Our family also likes emerald Chicken it has spring onions and ginger sauce so good. Over the years we've had many of their items all good. Bathrooms are clean food is always fresh. Price is about $11 a plate w rice and beans. They have different kinds of rice all good. Everything is good from here.

Yelp
FINALLY!!! It's sadly been several years since my last visit to Chino Bandito. Thankful, that all changed this week when I found myself on that side of town for a 5k. The new location on Bell is quite nice and feels much larger than the previous location on Greenway. It's also nice and bright with an ample amount of seating. During today's visit, I tried a few different things: Jerk chicken, Jade Red chicken and Diablo chicken. Everything was just as I remembered... Delicious! All the food had great flavor and wasn't overly spicy. I recommend getting the jerk fried rice and black beans with your meal (you won't be disappointed). It's always nice to finish the meal with a cookie and today was no exception. Volcano cookies for the win! If you have been thinking about giving Chino Bandido a try, I would strongly advise you to do so.

Yelp
I've been to Chino before when it was at their old location, first time at this new location. Service is always very friendly, even if you're indecisive. The new location is bright and "refreshed" in comparison to the old location. It also looked pretty clean. Now the food: I literally always get jerk fried rice and black beans as my 2 sides. They have other options, like refried beans, plain steamed rice, chicken fried rice, but I prefer my same sides always. You can also choose to have your protein done in a quesadilla or burrito. Also, it comes with a cookie! If you get the combo you can get 2 sides. My fattie self always gets the combo. For the actual proteins I change it up, today I got the pollo Diablo & emerald chicken. The emerald chicken is mild in flavor, it appears to be a "healthier" option as it's not deep fried, seasoned with ginger and green onions. Pollo Diablo is fried, and it's a peppery onion kind of sauce. Super flavorful. It might be spicy for some palates, but not mine. Mini mini had the jade chicken bowl. It's deep fried chicken that's sweet with a hint of spice, with some steamed rice. She said she's glad she got it and loved it. For my honey I got him the carnitas and machaca with jerk fried rice and black beans. The carnitas are delicious, it's exactly how you want your carnitas to taste, not overly seasoned and a mild but delicious flavor, and they have tomatoes in it too, so skip it if you hate tomatoes. However, the tomato flavor is not overpowering. The machaca was in a quesadilla. Always a good choice because who doesn't like shredded beef in a quesadilla. Ask for hot sauce. It's basically little cups of mild salsa, with just a little kick. Yum. Today's cookie option was snickerdoodle or volcano. We got both kinds. Free cookie with your meal order is always a plus. You don't even have to ask for a cookie they just ask you what kind. The volcano cookie is chocolatey and soft and chewy. The snickerdoodle is chewy and cinnamon-y. Yassss. Will we be back? Obvi. This places has been a staple for me since I was young. It's also been on Diner's Drive-ins and Dives, so if you want to visit places from the show, come here and stuff your belly.

Yelp
I started going here 35 years ago when they first opened at their original location. The food back then was eclectic and delicious. Fast forward...after that time away (no longer live in Phoenix), the new larger location is a bit industrial, but the food was as I remember, the jerk chicken was not that spicy, full of flavor and a decent portion. Added their hot sauce to kick it up a notch. Jerky fried rice was good. All in all, decent to check out again, but the original can't be replaced.

Yelp
To be honest, didn't really expect too much from this place but it was better than I expected and for the price, what you'd get is a lot and they were giving out free chocolate chip cookies on that Saturday we went! However, food isn't something you'd get from restaurant, but it's fast and when you want something easy and affordable yet still not so fast food like, I think this is the place!

Yelp
I was staying at the Hilton Tapatio for a few nights, and one of those nights, I went out for something to eat. I remembered that Chino had moved locations awhile ago, and it was pretty close to the hotel. I stopped on by. I went with a 2 item bowl with black beans, jerk fried rice, jerk chicken, and jade red chicken in a quesadilla. Water to drink, and of course the snickerdoodle cookie. How was it? Still as good as before. Everything just works! I mix my fried rice with the black beans and go to town. Portion sizes are still great, jade red chicken is still sweet and crunchy and delicious, jerk chicken has some nice spice to it, and the cookie is always a nice finishing touch! I enjoyed my meal so much, that I took my Mom back here about a week later. Chino Bandido, twice in one week. How lucky am I? Lol! This place has always been great, and still is! Bomb food and huge portions! Love it!

Yelp
Maybe a decade since we dropped in. This location is new and much bigger. And the food remains incredible. Their Chile relleno remains a masterpiece in excess, almost like a chicken fried chile relleno more than what you might be expecting. Next time through Phoenix, we are definitely returning.

Yelp
We just moved to the area and looked on Yelp to find a restaurant for date night. This one looked intriguing, Chinese/Mexican fusion. Place was easy to spot. Going inside the place was huge and very clean. When we were deciding what to order, our server said that we could sample the meat. So we tried the jade chicken and BBQ pork. The jade chicken was flavorful and the pork was a little dry, but tasted okay. My wife had the pork burrito and fried rice on the side. I ordered the Jade red chicken, just the one side which was plenty enough for me 'cause I could barely finish it. The chicken could have been a bit more crunchy but I enjoyed the whole meal. My wife enjoyed the burrito, you have to pay extra to add anything else since it only comes with the meat. We will definitely be back My wife

Yelp
I have been wanting to try this place for years and was so excited I was in the area. I thought Yes! Finally!l so ready to bite into the famous red jade chicken and what a disappointment:( I got their combo plate with white rice and black beans with red jade chicken and a chili relleno. Well the chicken was meh, and dry and chewy. I don't know what all the hype is about. Everything else was meh too. I think my hopes were too high. Even their hot sauce was a let down. It was lacking in flavor, more like a mild salsa. Asked but they didn't have chili oil. Just the bland salsa. You order at the counter, and it's quite confusing at first. I don't like that they don't have any prices on their menu. Combos are $13.05 and anything with an asterisk like fried rice is an additional $1.10. Drinks are self serve too. You grab a table and the food is brought out to you when it's ready. Tried hubby's pork and it was dry too. I love Guy Fiery and just like me, I think it's the only reason people are curious to try this place. I would've been much happier with a meal from Panda Express.

Yelp
I worked at Chino when I was young. You could get a small bowl with any item in a tortilla or a quesadilla. But at some point they decided to be greedy and won't do this. Two single item bowls cost me $25 today and I couldn't even buy a scoop of beans with it. This place used to be good but now they just live off their old hype. Used to be 5 Stars but it's slowly declining like their service. When I got Gome they had also forgotten part of my order. I hate this place so much now. They had the audacity to ask for a 6 tip for ringing me up too. Just absolutely won't be back. I feel. Embarrassed to have been associated with them.

Yelp
Chino Bandido is a local fave restaurant still owned by the same owner who opened it back in 1990. The flavors are Mexican and Asian fusion with a bit of Jamaican. It's also one of many local places that have been featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dive with Guy Fieri. Walk up and order either a bowl, which is 1 protein and 1 base, or the popular combo of 2 proteins and 1 base. For protein you have a variety like teriyaki chicken, machaca, egg foo young, chile relleno, etc. The base options include different beans, rice, or multiple types of fried rice. With the combo you can turn your protein into a burrito or quesadilla. The place gets busy... for good reason! I walked up to order and pay and my food was brought to my table within 3 minutes. I looked through reviews to pick some of the most popular items. My lunch was chicken fried rice with the favorite Jade Red Chicken and Machaca made into a quesadilla with sour cream (as suggested by the helpful worker taking my order). Mmmm....the flavors were wonderful. It was also a large portion of food so I had plenty to take home. Plus, everyone gets a snickerdoodle cookie too. I don't know what took me so long to try this local spot but I'm glad that I finally did!

Yelp
Fun idea, neat flavors, seemingly inconsistent. I went with my friend from the area who loves this place, but he warned me that it can range anywhere from mediocre to incredible depending on the day. The jerk chicken and Jade red chicken were well spiced, but very overcooked. The fried rice had a unique flair of Caribbean inspiration, but was also pretty dry. Sticking with the theme of the day, the cookies were also underwhelming. You order at the counter and they bring out your food so the service was still fast and the staff were friendly. That, along with the reputation of Chino's, will warrant me trying it again, but it didn't live up to expectations. Not this time, at least.

Yelp
One of our friends saw this place on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives and wanted to check it out. We came on a weekend around lunchtime, and it wasn't too crowded. The menu was pretty big, and the fusion concept was interesting, although I'm not sure how well Jamaican, Mexican, and Chinese flavors go together. I ended up getting the red jade chicken with rice, and each order also came with a cookie. The chicken was crispy and tasted like what you'd expect from orange chicken, but the snickerdoodle was too hard for my liking (the volcano cookie was better). This place reminded me a lot of Panda Express, with slightly higher quality meat. This place had reasonable prices and pretty big portions, and parking was easy. Not sure if I would come back, but this would be a good place for a quick, cheap meal!

Yelp
I had seen this restaurant on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives so was looking forward to my meal. I was so disappointed! I got a combination plate of their famous jade chicken, Jen red pork, refried beans and jerk fried rice. Both chicken and pork were very tough and I could not finish my meal. The jerk fried rice was pretty bland and disappointing too.
google avatar

Terry B.

Yelp
Chino is a local staple and for good reason. The combinations are endless and food is always very tasty. You really can't go wrong. I usually get Diablo chicken, egg foo young with refried beans and jerk fried rice. Always a treat to eat at Chino!

Yelp
Curiosity killed the cat. This was my last meal in Phoenix, and it made me sad Phoenix went out with a flop. Many people claim that this place is for the novelty since it's a Chinese Mexican fusion, and curiosity got the best of me. To sum up, this place is a Chipotle-Panda hybrid with you picking a "plate" with a "base" (rice, beans etc) and protein (chicken, beef etc). Being more expensive than Panda and Chipotle for an order, you'd expect something better, especially when it's not a chain! I ordered the hyped Jade Red Chicken, Jen Red Pork, and for a safety measure, Carnitas between 2 bowls. For my bases, I got the white rice, fried rice, and black beans. Jade Red Chicken - orange chicken but dry and unrefined; it's basically a sour and spicy version of it. The flavor profile doesn't hint at Chinese nor Mexican 1/5 Jen Red Pork - Basically the same exact flavor as the chicken, but pork. Also very dry and had a distinct pork taste that wasn't cooked away. 1/5 Carnitas - dry and not authentic compared to various Mexican places I've had in LA and Mexico. 1/5 Fried Rice/Rice - for an extra charge on the fried aspect, this was the worst part of the entire meal. The meats have something unique to say the least, but the rice is not good. Short grain, hard, and dry, even Panda/Chipotle use better rice quality than that. 1/5 Black Beans - tolerable, but way too salty. At least they give you a free snickerdoodle cookie, but is it really free when you subject yourself to this place? If you've ever had authentic Chinese or Mexican food, this place takes the Chinese buffet food and mixes it with Taco Bell. While some people love said restaurants, it's definitely not for the majority. Would not recommend.

Yelp
Chino's new location is bigger and more modern (but it sure was cold ). Even though the line was long it moved quickly. Our party of 3 each ordered 2 protein plate which included 2 sides. So filling - we all have leftovers. And the taste never fails. Their black beans are the BEST. Cookie for dessert is nice touch but would be outstanding if they had GF choice !'

Yelp
Huge fan of the new location! Lots of seating and plenty of space. Ordered the 2 item combo with the BBQ Pork and Red Jade Chicken. Got our food within 5 minutes and priced really well. Under $22 for the combo plus drinks + cookies. Would definitely recommend

Yelp
In the culinary universe that is "fast food," there isn't a better location than Chino Bandido. An historic, and unparalleled, blend of Asian, Mexican, and Caribbean cuisine that provides an opportunity for flavor and textural combinations that you won't find anywhere else. And most of them are superlative! Quick, fast, friendly, and family oriented service with a dose of warmth and humor. Check out the reviews on the 'Great Wall of Chino' and the collection of photos on the 'Chino Kids' montage for proof that CB has been serving happy faces and stomachs throughout the generations. The 'newish' Bandido is housed in a very spacious central dining hall with a couple of smaller rooms off to the side and an even smaller outside dining patio. My only lament of the current Chino Bandido is that it lacks the intimacy that the previous location possessed. But then again, it seats 5 times as many people...a testament to the popularity of the Bandido. I always try to make time for a visit when in North Central Phoenix. You should, too....

Yelp
I finally made it to Chino Bandido! This place has been on my to-go for quite sometimes, but I never seem to find myself in the area. Today that all changed and it seemed like a perfect spot to grab a quick bite and quick it was! Upon entering, the space is bright and super clean. There were plenty of patrons inside, but a small line. I took a minute to peruse my options which are a variety of rice bowls or a combo special that allows two proteins and two sides. Service was very friendly and they helped us narrow down our selections! They are Mexican-Asian Fusion and I am here for it! My husband and I shared their most popular, jade chicken, sort of like a orange chicken, but little spicer, rice bowl and one combo with jerk chicken quesadilla, their chinese pork, refried beans and mixed veggie salad. The value for the combo is AWESOME at around $13 and definitely the move. The jerk chicken quesadilla, jade chicken and refried beans were stand out and paired perfectly with their Asian salsa, think sweet sour salsa? Our meals came with complimentary snickerdoodles, though nice flavor, not as soft as I prefer. Overall, it was very tasty and fun twist on two of my favorite cuisines. Service was super quick, value was great and solid flavor. i enjoyed the opportunity to cross this off my Yelp bucket list!

Yelp
Actually, I would give them a zero. I heard such good things about this place. My husband and I drove an hour to try this place for his birthday (his choice). I got the orange chicken, the portions were so small with a high price, the chicken wasn't edible, weird texture and oily. There was very little rice and no veggies. I actually asked for veggies when I ordered since most bowls don't come with them, and I was told they really don't have veggies. Hubby got teriyaki chicken, same small portion for price, bland chicken with barely any teriyaki sauce, and very little rice. I don't know how this place stays open.
google avatar

Alicia Y.

Yelp
The restaurant was clean and orderly. Though they seemed busy everyone was doing a job and getting orders out. The lady at the counter was helpful and made some delicious suggestions. The Ref chicken was spot on as everyone suggested. The sweet treat at the end was the cherry on top! I only wished the food was a tad bit hotter in temperature but other than that I will return.
google avatar

Valerie S.

Yelp
A very large spot with plenty of of indoor and some outdoor seating. Service was very friendly and helpful. I tried their jade chicken bowl with chicken fried rice. Jade chicken was good and reminded me of orange chicken. The fried rice did not hit the spot for me. There was a flavor in it that just didn't come together. Their beverage bar has plenty of great choices and I opted for fresh brewed passion fruit iced tea that was very good! We were also brought cookies with our order which was super nice! Overall, I would probably return but try something a bit different.

Yelp
Chino Bandito is open until 9pm now, Tue-Sun. Still closed Mon, opens at 11am every day. I'm losing some of my enthusiasm for this place. Portions have been variable lately. Prices went up a buck and a half per combo recently. I think that translates to about a 40% price increase since 2020. Minimum wage only went up 2.5% this year, so I don't think it was that. Sometimes those cookies are stupendously stale and/or overbaked. Due to everybody grabbing every dollar they can these days, I pay careful attention to every aspect of what I get for that money, and C.B. is losing its hold on me. The newish location is bright and clean and modern. Staff are pleasant and efficient enough. The food is of good quality, simply made, no surprises and it hasn't changed much in years.

Roberta H.

Yelp
Haven't been here in a long time. I thought they had closed. Glad to see they moved to a new location.

Alicia S.

Yelp
So much flavor and such great hospitality, such a hidden Phoenix gem got to try it out

Yelp
"CUSTOMER SERVICE IS LACKING VALUE!" -Beans: too salty (flavor profile is great) -Jade Chicken: is good, but not blown away! . -Rice is whatever. Nothing special. -Chile relleno has good flavor but it's so unhealthy with the amount of cheese. For the price and what I tasted this place to me was not good for my wallet or my health. I am definitely NOT coming back. Don't recommend.

Yelp
I've never heard of Chinese/Mexican and it was so good. The staff is beyond nice. Service was fantastic. Food tasted amazing. Will be back to this place, for sure.

Yelp
The food is unique and very tasty. The employees are young, friendly and energetic. They make one feel welcomed.

Yelp
What is not to love about this little dive? I have been coming here faithfully for over 15 years, and was happy to see their new location on a recent visit back to Phoenix. What a nice upgrade! The food is still the same delicious recipes as always and the prices are super reasonable, but the tables and the atmosphere is a little more appealing now :) I wish they still allowed you to sample items before you buy (my husband was new to the Chino experience) and I think they should consider selling Chino merchandise like shirts or something, but maybe that's just me :) This is a great place to try if you like unique fusion food and casual dining with friends or a fun, quick date. I will continue to return each time I come back to AZ.
google avatar

Yelp
The food here is great and staff were excellent at providing recommendations. It was pretty busy when we went and most tables were full. We made our order to go and had it very quickly! A lot of food for the money. Their refried beans were amazing!

Yelp
Chino Bandidos doesn't need my review. They have long been the legendary Chinese/Mexican fusion eatery that has become the icon of custom Phoenix food mashups. Highlighted in local press, lauded on TV food shows, and loved by locals. All that to say, they have earned their place in restaurant lore and deservedly shine both in person and for takeout. It has been 20 years since I began loving the diablo chicken, emerald chicken, and jerk fried rice. The old location on 19th Ave has long been vacated, and the clean, large, and updated standalone building af Bell Rd and 3rd Ave is spacious, bright, and great for big groups. Add to that: the food is unique, tasty, and affordable. Definitely try jerk fried rice or try the Diablo chicken on a quesadilla. The crew at Chino's has always been kind, helpful, and ready to help. Rice bowls, combos, and meals have stayed true while occasionally adding touches here and there. If you live in Arizona and have never tried Chino's, please do yourself a favor and come try this great place. If you're traveling through, don't miss this chance to visit Chino's.

Yelp
I've been coming to Chino Bandido since I was like 10 years old and their food has not changed at all! Chino offers a tasty blend of Mexican and Chinese food in the form of rice bowls, burritos, and quesadillas--all at good prices. My fave entree of all time is the Jade Red Chicken with plain fried rice, which I get EVERY TIME since there's no other place with similar flavors. Other ones I like are the Pollo Diablo, Machaca, and Carnitas. For the burritos and quesadillas, you can choose which meat you want inside. Sides include refried beans, different fried rices, or plain rice. Each order of a rice bowl or combo includes a cookie--either their signature snickerdoodle or on weekends they sometimes have rotating flavors. This new location is clean, casual, and offers tons of seating. You order at the counter and seat yourself then once it's ready, they'll walk around with your order and call out your name. IMO this is one of the best AZ restaurants to be featured on Triple D with Guy Fieri!

Yelp
I was prepared to like this restaurant since friends and family have been raving about it for years. It had a bright and friendly vibe and was neat and clean even though they were busy. The price can't be beat and you can really individualize your meal. Sadly, the red chicken I had heard so much about was dry; frankly, the food reminded me of a fast food buffet line. The saving grace was the cookie at the end, so I wasn't totally disappointed.
google avatar

A.J. C.

Yelp
As a Jamaican, the jerk seasoning they use for the jerk chicken is good stuff. The jade chicken is great too. The fried rice is weak, basically not stir fried enough with flavor-- white rice. The beans are great. Prices are decent for a build your own bowl kind of spot. Combos are great though. I'm Jamaican and Chinese and this mixes those cultures.
google avatar

Yelp
Chino Bandido on Bell Road has become a favorite for my kids and me over the years. We've followed them from their tiny shop to their new, spacious location, which has a great open feel and a pleasant ambiance. As you might guess, this place serves a quirky mix of Chinese and Mexican food--think kung pao chicken with a side of refried beans. While my kids can't get enough of the chicken and rice dishes, my vegetarian heart is left wanting more. Sadly, there are no tofu or Beyond Meat options, and the vegetarian burritos are a no-go. So, if you're a herbivore like me, you might find yourself eyeing your kid's plate with a hint of envy. Self-Service only! it's a 3-star joint for me. Great for carnivores and adventurous eaters, but vegetarians might need to pack a snack.
google avatar

Bill M.

Yelp
A far cry from its former self. This was the "place" for good food from two different cultures that meshed well together. Now it's bland and the place has an "I don't care" attitude. Maybe the owners will pay attention to those of us that remember the good Chino Bandido.
google avatar

Sam F.

Yelp
The food is always consistently delicious and they haven't changed their menu in years. The only reason it's missing a star is because their portions are about half the size of what they used to be. Best egg foo yong in town. Ambiance wise they are no frills but it's a wide open space and it's easy to grab food to go The service is always friendly, and they are always ready to help you navigate the menu
google avatar

Jeff B.

Yelp
Great local favorite and a must try for anyone looking for something a little different. I love the fusion of Mexican, Asian, Jamaican, and everything else they have going on. Highly recommend the jade red chicken quesadilla, jerk chicken burrito combo with the fantastic black beans, and delicious jerk fried rice. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. From gringo chicken to egg foo young, it's all fantastic.
google avatar

Jorey C.

Yelp
I would give this place 10 million stars if I could. it's more of a "hole-in-the-wall" place but in the best way possible - you know it's going to be stellar, and indeed it is. Guy Fieri checked this place out! Whenever I go, I take home a quart size of tbr black beans. No exaggeration the best beans I've ever had in my life. I can't eat all the chicken varieties due to gluten but the ones I can have are so flavorful and juicy. The Emerald chicken is refreshing and tender. I can't have the cookies (yes, you can get a cookie with your meal, how awesome), but everyone says they're so chewy and moist. The prices are amazing for the huge portions. We've even catered Chino for a grad party - that's how much we love it!

Yelp
Still a favorite! Love the new location, I wish there was one in Surprise or somewhere Westside. We make the trip occasionally just to pick up our favorite Jade Red Chicken and Jen Red Pork with Pork fried Rice. I am a huge fan of the Egg Fu Young as well! Enjoy discovering your favorite!

Yelp
First time at Chino Bandido since they moved. This new location is more spacious and clean and easy access from the road. Large sign out front makes it easy to spot too. The food is delicious. You can choose from small rice bowls or can choose combo plates with 2 protein choices and two sides. The carnitas were delicious. The hengrenade chicken was little dry but still had lot of flavor and had hint of spiciness. Perfect with the fried rice and beans. My friend had the quesadilla and jade chicken and really liked it. Service was fast and friendly. They had nice outside dog friendly patio too. Enjoy! Highly recommend.

Yelp
I've been waiting a while to finally try Chino Bandido. Combine my favorite Chinese and Mexican food. Yes please! This location is in north Phoenix off Bell Ave. Make sure to ring the savings bell at Bell Ford too. Parking is decent and shared with other stores. Honestly I was hoping for more fusion items. Chino serves both American Chinese and Mexican food but not really mixed together. I had the Jade chicken and steamed rice which was good but not great. Maybe chicken and beans or fried rice with an enchilada would be better. Or a Kung Pao Burrito. But the Chinese food is really good with a better feel than Panda. The space is large although somewhat basic. I guess they do a lot of takeout. I'm glad I finally made it to Chino Bandito but probably had too high expectations. It is a solid fast food Chinese place with a few Mexican options. Good for groups and work events and better for takeout.

Yelp
Really awesome spot! We saw this on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives and we're excited to try it. It looks like it's been renovated because there is a ton of dine in seating and they take online orders to go. There's a ton of parking too. When we got there, there was a line but it moved so fast. We ordered and our food came out within 5-10 minutes. You receive a cookie with every order too - snickerdoodle or chocolate chip. I did a bowl with black beans, chicken fried rice, Red Chicken, and veggie quesadilla - it was sooo much food!! The red chicken is their most popular item and it was incredible. It's fried chicken with a spicy sweet sauce on it. We also tried the egg fu yung and the gringo chicken. Both were very good but our favorite items were the red chicken and the black beans. Would 100% go back.

Yelp
A Mexican Chinese fusion restaurant with a big store and colorful decor. The food is definitely not for me. The portions are good and the food doesn't taste bad. The price is also reasonable. My biggest problem isn't the food or service, but that the food is so greasy and heavy with nothing to compensate it. All the overtly thick sauces on the chicken and the fried-ness of everything makes it hard to finish the food after a little bit. I do think that if you're the type to enjoy food like this, you would definitely like this place. I am also definitely lost on what this food was supposed to be. I didn't get Chinese from the food at all. Regardless, this was definitely not my type of restaurant, but I could see other people enjoying it.

Yelp
Paid $10 and waited an extra 10 minutes for a taco sized burrito. I thought I had someone's order when seeing how small the package was and they said all burritos are this size, so just beware if you're hungry that theirburritos should be called rolled tacos for how filling they are. Okay quality overall, tortilla was hard and was very greasy. As a hardcore burrito lover, will not be back.

Yelp
Came here during my first trip to Phoenix, Arizona. I seen it featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives hoping to try something I've never had before. Service is order at register and then they bring to your table. Told the cashier it was my first time and she wasn't very helpful at all. Didnt say much or explain anything. Didnt seem happy to be there. First I had the emerald chicken. This tastes a lot like its on the healthier side. Bit bland chicken, but with the tastiest topping that transforms the chicken. Then I had the jade chicken and this stole the show! Crunchy, sweet, spicy, savory, it has everything! Beautiful fusion if Asian and Mexican. Lasty I had the jerk chicken rice. Could've been salter and a bit more flavorful. In a blind taste test I would've never known it was jerk chicken flavored, but it was cooked well. Each meal comes with a tasty little snickerdoodle-type cookie.

Yelp
My husband grew up in the area and loves Chino Bandido! I was honestly so hesitant to try Chinese Mexican fusion. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by our meal! I tried the egg foo young, Chile relleno, and ginger Jade chicken. Can't forget snickerdoodle cookies for dessert! Such a unique spot with incredible flavors!

Yelp
Super fast service. I think I got my food within a couple minutes for take out. Ordered jade and emerald chicken with jerk fried rice. Both are super yummy. Emerald chicken tastes more traditional Chinese due to the ginger and green onion sauce. Jade chicken reminds me of fried orange chicken. You have an option of asking for spicy sauce on the side-- I don't find it spicy but more of a sweet/savory sauce. It pairs well with the rice.
