"A popular spot with Mexican-Chinese cuisine that’s perfect for cheap eats and takeout. The hole-in-the-wall establishment has long lines out the door at lunchtime with people waiting for local favorites like the red jade chicken (deep fried chicken topped with a spicy sweet sauce) and the pollo diablo (deep fried chicken with Mexican hot peppers). Be ready to make your own combo when you get to the front of the line." - MATADOR_NETWORK

I've been here before but didn't review it. I had the Emerald chicken, carnitas, jerk fried rice, and refried beans. Everything was delicious, especially the snickerdoodle. I will totally come back to this establishment. 4.25 stars 🌟

As a first timer I was grateful they put on the menu that their Jade Red chicken was their most popular, so I gave that a try along with the BBQ Pork. The Jade Red chicken did not disappoint! I'd highly recommend. The black refried beans were also very good.

Chino Bandido is a local fave restaurant still owned by the same owner who opened it back in 1990. The flavors are Mexican and Asian fusion with a bit of Jamaican. It's also one of many local places that have been featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dive with Guy Fieri. Walk up and order either a bowl, which is 1 protein and 1 base, or the popular combo of 2 proteins and 1 base. For protein you have a variety like teriyaki chicken, machaca, egg foo young, chile relleno, etc. The base options include different beans, rice, or multiple types of fried rice. With the combo you can turn your protein into a burrito or quesadilla. The place gets busy... for good reason! I walked up to order and pay and my food was brought to my table within 3 minutes. I looked through reviews to pick some of the most popular items. My lunch was chicken fried rice with the favorite Jade Red Chicken and Machaca made into a quesadilla with sour cream (as suggested by the helpful worker taking my order). Mmmm....the flavors were wonderful. It was also a large portion of food so I had plenty to take home. Plus, everyone gets a snickerdoodle cookie too. I don't know what took me so long to try this local spot but I'm glad that I finally did!

I love this place before and after they moved locations. It's fast casual dining. Very tasty food. Highly recommend Jade Red Chicken, Jerk fried rice, and refried beans! This place is a must! As seen on DDD and Check Please AZ

Chicken was dry. The jerk rice was really good. Said they have hot sauce on the sign, but then, they do not have hit sauce? I was confused.. ...haha. They called some sort of weird pink stuff hot sauce. It was not hot at all. Menu is super confusing the first time.

This seemed like a popular place but personally it was not for me. The flavors just did not jive. But they were busy.

Chino Bandido offers a unique culinary experience, blending Asian and Mexican flavors seamlessly. The fusion of dishes like Jade Red Chicken and Jerk Fried Rice is creative and flavorful. The casual atmosphere adds to the charm, making it a must-try for those seeking something beyond traditional cuisine. Chino Bandido not only delights the taste buds but also offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable, considering the generous portions.

The food was delicious if you enjoy spicy food I would recommend the Pollo Diablo and jerk chicken, if you don't do spicy but like more sweet go for the Jen red pork or the jade red chicken. The teriyaki sauce is really good as well. The jerk fried rice and black beans were very flavorful.
