Chintakiri Resort

This is a cute boutique hotel that has seen better days and needs to be revamped. The quality didn’t match the price that we paid. Lots of small repairs needed as well as more major ones. Even small things like replacing missing curtain hooks would make a difference. I get the sense that the owners are not wanting to spend money on upkeep and maintenance. Some of the workers seem to be working very hard, but perhaps more staff are needed. Offering some more generous extras would make a big difference to compensate for these issues (e,g., better quality breakfasts including fruit shakes or fresh fruit drinks, fruit in room on arrival). The staff are friendly and the young man who works in the garden and carries the bags is very diligent. The views are lovely, especially from the pool area.

The resort is super sweet and I really love the people around! Super kind! The view is also super nice! It’s just not easy to reach if you are hard on walking. I would say scooter is mandatory in that case! You could also buy new showerheads I would recommend you that also. It’s easy to upgrade the room instantly. But it general super worth it and I would come again:)

Very nice view of the bay. The pool view is amazing. Staff was lovely also. We were able to rent scooters directly at the hotel. It was convenient. If you are not able to ride a scooter I would not recommend to go at this hotel because the slope to go to the hotel is not easy at all !!!! I remove also 1 star because it was very hot in the room and it took a long time to cool the room when we were away during the all day.

Amazing view, especially pool. Friendly and polite staff. The way to hotel is just a little bit slope, but the hotel is like a part of the nature. Rooms are quiet and clean. You can both chill in the nature and discover the island entertainment by renting motorbike.

While the location of the resort and the views you get are quite stunning and the staff is friendly and the breakfast is fine, sadly the room are very run down (or at least ours, 107 was). The toilet seat was broken, there was a leak in the bathroom, mold on the tiles and the room was not particularly clean. For the price we would have thought the standard could be a bit higher. All in all our stay was fine, we still think you probably can get better places for the same money.

Perched up on the mountain, providing AMAZING views of the bay. We stayed for two nights in the Family suite bungalow (had two beds, 2 bathrooms, and living room. Rooms are a bit outdated but were very clean. Spectacular views of the bay from our room. Air Conditioning was not working properly, so rooms were a bit warm over the night. There is a steep climb up to the resort, so be prepared. If mobility is an issue for you, do not come. Breakfast was provided with room, and was very, very good. Many options to choose from. The staff at the resort are all very kind, friendly and helpful. The pool area is small, with 10 sun beds, but never an issue to get one. Plenty of umbrellas to offer shade from the hot sun. Pool was very clean. Definitely worth the trek up the mountain to stay here! For sure would stay again!

The resort is located on a steep hillside, so you can enjoy a great short cardio workout every day. But if you prefer not to, you can ride up on a moped or take a taxi—or simply stay at the resort all day, swim in the small pool, and enjoy the incredible view of the bay.

This property is in midst of the forest. Book only if you are ok with staying in the same room as reptiles. The view from the room is good. Hotel is situated at a height hence its a big climb incase you don’t have a vehicle. Breakfast doesn’t have lot of options.
