The quality control at this place is amazing. Every location I visit always has delicious cookies that are crispy on the outside and have a nice crunch yet a warm and gooey center. These cookies even last up to two weeks and it can be reheated using a myriad of kitchen, gadgets, and all methods result in a deliciously warmed up cookie.

Massive cookies with a variety of interesting flavors, making you feel like you’re getting your money’s worth. Perfect if you have a sweet tooth. I heated them up slightly before eating and they were great.

I was very pleased with the service provided at the Long Island City and 96th & Madison locations. I utilized my rewards to get a hat, however there were none in stock at the LIC store. The sales associate arranged for the manager to have the hat available at the store closest to me on 96th St and Madison. The girls there were also lovely and friendly. Very positive customer service experience to everyone! And of course, the cookies are the best :)

Excellent! I’m not typically a fan of large thick cookies because they tend to be very hard. But these cookies are amazing! They’re crunchy on the edges and soft on the inside (but not underdone). Perfect combo!

Chip City had the most wonderful display of cookies in their window. The smell of fresh baked cookies immediately drew me in and I wasn't disappointed there were so many different flavors. I settled on just a couple, the double chocolate chip and also the chocolate chip with my favorites! I would definitely order some of these cookies online and have them shipped to my home. Next time I'm in New York I'm definitely putting chip city on the must have list!

Last night I tried Chip City for the first time, and was so pleasantly surprised! Went in around 8 PM and they still were making fresh batches of cookies (which smelled incredible). We tried the S’mores cookie and the double chocolate cookie, and both were simply delicious. Gooey, marshmallow-y, and warm. The guy working the counter was extremely friendly and made us feel so welcome despite the late-ish hour. Love!!!

Location is perfect considering its nearby transit and nearby me. the cookies tatse amazing especially with milk. Small location but good enough. Would be nice if there were chair and seat options. Service is always nice and always greeted with a smile.

My partner loves these cookies so I was excited to give them a try. They are large and quite thick. Very crunchy on the outside, with a softer, gooey center. All the flavors were very rich. I tried the chocolate chip and cookies and cream options and found them both to be a bit too sweet. I enjoyed the cookie butter more.

This establishment always smells amazing and is very clean. The service is great and they now have thin cookies which I purchased and it is amazing!!!!

These cookies remind me of a mix of Levain and Crumbl - the LARGE cookie, crunchy exterior of Levain mixed with the cakey/doughy interior and very sweet flavors similar to those of Crumbl. Good service in this little location as well, which has two benches. I think it's optimal to take out and eat at home. The box of 3 is a better deal than getting one alone, especially to bring back home either to eat yourself or give as a gift. Would come again!

Got the milk chocolate chip cookie and white chocolate Macadamia cookie. Both are delicious! Perfect for me. Whenever I am craving for sweet stuff, I will come to this place. The staff is friendly, chill and welcoming. My friends also like this place as well. They also can help to wrap a gift box for you if you request to do so.

Highly overrated cookies. I was recommended to this chain by a friend. I was excited to learn that they have all of these unique flavors of cookies. I give an e for effort with the unique flavors however it tastes like a basic store bought bakery cookie. I was highly disappointed in the quality of the cookies that I received. I chose the s'mores and lemon berry and a few others and I feel as though it tasted like a basic flavor with the smallest hints of those flavors. I expected a melt in your mouth type of cookie but this was the furthest thing from that. The presentation was pleasant. Also this location in particular is very small.

These cookies are really bad. If I had known they use initiation vanilla before I ordered, I would have known to avoid them. I've been on a mission to find thr best cookie - I've tried Crumbl, Taylor Chip, The Last Crumb, Bang Cookies, and Big Fat Weird Cookies. Sadly Chip City was thr worst by a fair margin. Bland flavor, dry texture bordering on chalkiness. Bought a box of 6 and I don't know how we will finish them.

Very expensive. Cookies can be hit or miss based on the rotating schedule. Often sold out of good cookies late in the day. Their good cookies are very tasty though and a worth treat. My favorites are chocolate peanut butter, apple pie, carrot cake, and Cadbury chocolate chip. Location has very limited seating so you're most likely taking your sweets to go.

Forever will be my favorite cookie place in this city. I know this will be controversial but it's bounds and leaps above levain. You can smell the deliciousness a block away from the store.

This place smells amazing. The second we walked through the door, we were overwhelmed with a delightful plethora of sights and smells. A waft of sweet deliciousness overtook us and I knew we were in for a delectable treat. The workers were really attentive and had great recommendations. We got the Horchata, Smores, and Nutella Sea Salt cookies. They were all extremely yummy. All the cookies had a nice texture, nice crunch on the outside but a soft gooey interior. VERY YUMMY

Just a review about this chip city location. PLEASE PAY using a CC not cash. It took me 10 mins to get cash change back because the employee at Chip city didn't know how to do math? I don't know... the register does the math for you so I didn't know what the issue was. (Pay for 5 get 1 free) 6 cookies are $22.50 I paid $40.50 with cash. The guy asked me if I had a dollar... confused but handed him the dollar... so he has $41.50 of my money. Then he said "thank you tor exact change" and closed the register. I was stunned... long story short it took me 10 mins to get $19 back and a long line formed behind me... I wanted a tote bag too but I was scared to even attempt to ask about the bag or buy it cause I thought it would confuse the guy even more and take longer to get my change back!!' Okay now to the cookies They're always fresh and warm! They sell what they have and when it's sold out it's sold out! Cookies are always consistent and never disappoints.

These cookies are amazing! They only have three flavors a day with chocolate chip as one always. This location doesn't have the frozen ones. One of my friends brought me the pack of 6 frozen varieties and I fell in love! When you bake these yourself and they are hot it's sooooo good, literally melts in your mouth and full fills all your dreams for the day! I'll still definitely buy these and then I bring them home and pop them in the microwave for 10 seconds for the same effect. I like the vast variety of flavors though. My favorite always being chocolate chip & fun fettii!!

Wow, I thought Insomnia had good cookies. I had been fooled my entire life. I think Insomina is the best cookie in ATL, and NYC has completely changed my perspective. My friend who lives near Queens was praising about this place so I was like "How good can a cookie be?" When we walked in, I was so shocked at the delightful smell that filled the place. The smell of sweet doughy goodness was absolutely amazing. Their cookies are $5 each, but don't be shocked at the high prices because it's absolutely worth it. The cookies are huge (I wish I had taken a photo because I was absolutely blown away!!) and they have flavors that rotate each day. We got one of each -- chocolate chip, cake sprinkles(that wasn't the actual name but I forget) and one more. The cookies were warm and it looked sooo good. My favorite was the one with the cake sprinkles. It was a sugar based cookie which sprinkles that were baked into the cookie and I am a huge fan of sugar cookies, if done right -- and they absolutely nailed it. I also really liked the chocolate chip, but that sugar cookie was just amazing. My friend said that the horchata cookie was his favorite, but they didn't have it that day, and I wish I had tried it! Can they please open a location in ATL?!?! Because this place is absolutely crazy and I definitely need more of it. If and when I'm back in Queens, I am definitely coming back here.

I've had Chip multiple times now and they do a great job making a killer dessert that'll send your taste buds flying. They are VERY sweet, however - probably the sweetest cookie I've ever had - so know that going in. I like that they have multiple rotating flavors every few days and I've had the pleasure of trying ones like PB&J (so so good), S'mores, Matcha Ruby, and of course the classic. All have been super sweet, and I love an interesting flavor profile like the ones listed above, but I can't bring myself to finish a whole cookie anymore (but maybe it's just me, getting old). The cookie itself is thick , bigger than the palm of your hand, and dense but melty. They are 100% worth giving a try since it's hard to find cookies like this especially with the same variety. Just have your sweet tooth ready going in!

Great to grab a smoking hot cookie! At about $5 a cookie, you get this huge piece of gooey goodness. Be sure to try their famous chocolate chip, as you won't be disappointed!

The address on their website is incorrect (Not 45-15 Crescent St). It should be 42-15 Crescent St. It took me a while since I was going to the wrong place. I called the store and the employee (who is the store manager) gave me landmarks (stores around them) to help identify where the store is. It's right off of Queensboro Plaza train station by the Chase branch. Finally found the store - Hooray! Even though this is a relatively bigger store space than the Astoria one on 34 St, it's still 1 customer only so I waited since I am the next customer. I went in and advised them that the address on the website is incorrect reason why I had such a difficult time finding the store. The store manager looked on my phone and confirmed the address is incorrect (I checked today - 2 weeks later - it's still incorrect) and said he will let the company know. The 2 employees were so sweet. I wanted 1 of each of flavors available that day since this is a birthday gift for a "Cookie Monster". The choices on that day were: cookies and cream, banana nut oat, chocolate chip, and pina colada. It's a huge cookie that is good for sharing. If you buy 5 cookies, you get the 6th one for free. Basically, it comes out to under $20 for 5 cookies + 1 free cookie. The employees provided paper instructions on how to heat up the cookies and a name tag so I can write a message to the the lucky Cookie Monster! Thank you to the employees for this. Her favorite was cookies and cream! It would be the 1 cookie I never tried. Depending on the flavors of the day, some of the flavors are too sweet for me. I liked the banana nut and pina colada, if that helps. Enjoy!

Got their confetti and vanilla dulce crumble cookie this week. Before I tried Chip city, I had high expectations that it would be the best cookie in NYC, but I think the winner is still Levain at the moment. The cookies were gooey and buttery, but the flavor was missing for the confetti cookie. I've had much better in the past. The vanilla dulce was good the first few bites, but got really heavy and redundant quickly. Perhaps there are better flavors to try, but I was not that impressed by these two.

We were in the area & craving something sweet , my friend found this place so we decided to check it out. It smells so niceeee in here them sweet cookies oh lordd !! On the cookies we got the buy 5 get 1 deal to divide amongst ourselves... we got Blueberry cheese cake lordd , this was delicious , Cookies & Cream so good & so was the the Oatmeal pie. I did not try the Chocolate chip since not a big fan of chocolate myself but my friends love it. Cute little place , great cookies to satisfy that sweet tooth.

Apart from the fact that their flavors change every day and I only go for 1 or 2 flavors at a time, this place really knows their cookies! Most recently I tried their Angelica's cookie (limited edition), pumpkin spice latte (seasonal) and sweet potato s'mores. First off, their sizes are huge, they're practically the size of scones. The Angelica cookie was good but not great, the purple frosting gave it a hard texture but it got better towards the center with the gooey chocolate chips. The pumpkin spice latte one was soft and chewy, melting in your mouth when you get to the center. My absolute favorite was the sweet potato s'mores, texture was soft and it's not overly sweet. Heat them up in the microwave and they're as good as fresh for a few days.

First time I have been here. They make 4 different flavor cookies daily. I was told that you can check their website or follow on Instagram. The day I went they had one cookie that I liked which was peppermint chocolate chip cookie. I didn't care for their red velvet cookie. It was gross to me. The spot is small and they require one customer at a time inside the store. The cookies are pretty thick and some have a filling depending on the cookie. LOVE these cookies! It's my go to place when I'm laying over in Long Island City to get gifts to bring home for friends and family. My kids absolutely love these cookies. Customer service to friendly, prompt and helpful.

I'm so not the person to get a sweet tooth. But what can I say this place is magical. Blueberry cheesecake cookies? Are you kidding me. This is a dream right? I absolutely loved their chocolate chip cookie, yea I know how basic of me. But you've got to try this place. The area might be a little sketchy at night but it wont stop me. They update their insta to show you the cookies of the day. I highly recomment this place and I don't even like sweets. I'm dying to come back and try the s'mores cookie.

Omg ...why didnt I discover this place sooner! It was right near me the whole time. I've walked around that block many times before but didnt notice the store was right there ..wish they had a big noticeable sign. It could be easily missed. Love their cookies..been here already 3 times My favorite is the strawberries & cream cookies (I think they are only available for a limited time ?) The cookies are all so soft and chewy and a pretty big size. So delicious ! I've also tried the red velvet and macademia nut cookie but my favorite so far has been the strawberry and creams one. Fyi..if you pay in cash it amounts to exactly $19.05 (small discount) And with card the total is like 60~cents more

What to say about chip, wow ok I honestly love chips cookies. They are warm and soft its delicious. The feeling you get when you walk is great it's calming and once you walk in you see cookies. I was going to get only two cookies and I ended up getting 3 that's how good it smells. The employees are friendly they have great personalities. The biggest plus as well is that it's close by so if I have feeling for a cookie I can just walk to get myself a warm fresh cookie.

Ordered 2 cookies for delivery during this quarantine weekend and they were very quickly delivered, still warm! Granted I live in LIC, but I was still impressed with how quickly they arrived (~20 minutes). Tried the red velvet hot chocolate and Funfetti. The RVHC was definitely my favorite, which had a warm milk chocolate center. The Funfetti was good as well, but felt like it could have used an extra something (maybe a frosting center?). Support your local businesses!

I'm missing it? Chip NYC makes huge cookies, almost the size of an orange. They charge $3.50 for these enormous cookie and tells customers limit 2 per person?! The Chip NYC Funfetti cookie is very basic sugar cookie with sprinkles. They're trying to chase Levain, a baking style so polar opposite. Levain bakes an elegant cookie. The Chip NYC Chocolate Peanut Butter cookie I tried was a large, messy cookie. It was almost raw in the middle, they're trying to be a new Levain but without the magic. I bought my niece a cookie, I'm sure Chip NYC is popular on Social Media. I'm not a cookie monster, I'm just not a fan of the Chip NYC cookie.

Stopped at the Bleecker street location and got the oatmeal cranberry white chocolate cookie to save for later. I had it a few hours after purchasing and it was still amazing. The inside was doughy and has that almost not baked feel that I love. The store was super clean and quick service. I will definitely be back.

I can't recommend this place enough. I went with my friends after dinner. I wasn't even going to get anything when I first got there, but when I entered, their aroma hit me, and I ended up getting a box of cookies for later. You can get 6 cookies for the price of 5. It's definitely on the pricier side, but it's totally worth it. I recommend the White Chocolate Macadamia!

NYC truly has some of the best cookies. It always amazes me how room temperature cookies still has soft chocolate that looks melted, and Chip City has some amazing chocolate chip cookies. I'll keep this review short. If you like Levain, you'll also love Chip City.

Fun large cookies but it's just wayyyy too sweet. I got the chocolate chip and perhaps I got a bad batch but the sweetness was just beyond what I could handle after one to two bites. Price is similar to crumbl

My friend and I decided to check out the LIC location of Chip NYC around 2pm on a Friday. The shop is small, but they do have a seating area that seats 4-5 people. One thing I think is worth pointing out is that they have rotating flavors. So unless you're super flexible with your preferences, check the website or call before to make sure they will have something that satisfies your cravings. The cookies they had were chocolate chip, triple chocolate, white chocolate macadamia, and a rainbow cookie. For a shop that's Instagram famous, I think they could step up the display of their cookies. The cookies are lying flat on the pan on the counter. Cookies are $3.50 each and I decided to go with the chocolate chip and rainbow cookie. I'm a big Levain fan, but I always appreciate a cookie without walnuts. The chocolate chip cookie is well done, although it leans toward the sweeter side. The cookie was soft and moist with a delectable mix of melted chocolate chips and dough in every bite! The rainbow cookie was dry and not my cup of tea. However, it was very true to the flavor of a rainbow cookie. For a cookie shop, I felt that the staff helping us should've been friendlier. The cashier was resistant to giving us recommendations and just gave off a very unhappy vibe. Despite this, I would still come back to Chip to find more wins like the chocolate chip cookie that looks good and tastes delicious!

Chip City has some of the best cookies I've ever had. What I enjoy most is the weekly revolving menu. This gives me the opportunity to try different flavors every time I come in. The service is pretty straight forward, you select your cookie and/or coffee and then you pay for it. The workers were very nice and will always tell you the popular cookies of the week. This Chip City is small without any tables but there are benches on the side to enjoy your cookie.

After the Gansevoort Market location sadly closed a few weeks ago, the Chip team just opened their 3rd location in Queens, this one a quick walk to the E train and now the most accessible for non-Queens people until their Bleecker Street location opens soon. They have the same great cookies as always, but definitely try the Chocolate Chip or Chocolate Chip Walnut for your first time to see how good they are. This location is serving their awesome Baklava Cookie all weekend, another good reason to visit the new space, which is nice and spacious and at least feels like the biggest one yet. Just like when they originally opened in Astoria, Chip is now definitely one of the go to spots for dessert in LIC.

I am a Levain girl through and through, but Chip NYC makes a pretty good cookie. Cookies have always been one of my favorite dessert and I love NY for its abundance of cookie shops. Of course I saw all the posts about Chip on ig and had to try this new spot and fortunately, a LIC location just opened which is right next to where I live. There are 4 flavors each day they rotate, typically the chocolate chip walnut is always on the menu. Each cookie is $3.50 which is a little less than Levain but Chip has not perfected the art of baking it thoroughly in my opinion. The cookie is so soft and just collapses on you. I personally love an under baked center but it's a bit too much, some days they get it right but some days it's a complete mess. But the flavors are fun and the cookies do have good flavor. The white chocolate chip macadamia nut, triple chocolate and funfetti cookies were a few of my favorites. Overall good cookies but I still crave Levain the most!

U had me at smello~ wow i never like chips, but i walked by, smelled it and it had to find out what it was. Walked in bought a smores chip, took a bite and went straight to heaven. The crisp outside~the warm soft inside is perfection. Then the melting choco with the stringy smores...omg. then i had to try all of the flavors. But i had others the next day so its just ordinary. The key is to eat it within an hour max.

Finally! Another sweets shop in LIC! This neighborhood needs it, no doubt. When I saw that Chip arrives into the Queensboro Plaza section of Long Island City, I had to see for myself and try these cookies. Chip NYC, originally from Astoria, is a cookie shop that makes a certain supply of flavors of a densely composed cookie. It is rich in flavor and thick with that crumbly texture expected of a homemade cookie. I've tried the cranberry oat, s'mores, cookies and cream, and white chocolate flavored cookies. They all have a nice quality to them and are well worth the $3+ dollars each but I have to say that the cookies and cream always gets a second buy. Coming to this location, you can expect a wait from fans. If you're lucky, come at unexpected times, especially at night. They close late! If you want to chill inside, there are a couple of chairs and little table stools. Even though most people will end up buying cookies over drinks, I really enjoyed eating my cookie with their iced milk chocolate! Customer service is always great. There is a minimum to pay with card so bring cash if you don't plan on buying $10 worth of cookies. Accepts card and cash. Apple pay too! No bathrooms. (Too small of a store.) Not a good place to work in. Check out the deals for buying cookies. Bon appetit!

Unlike the other Chip locations, this one was atypically quiet and devoid of the long lines that annoyed me from visiting more often. Snugged right behind the Queensboro Plaza station (and around some construction), it's a perfect location for me to grab and go some cookies. I've had Chip before, so I do vouch for this place 100%. I did try the cookies & cream cookie today and found it to be awesome! I'll be back.

I went back here a second time to give this Chip NYC location a try. I was so excited to try the infamous cinnamon roll cookie. It was AMAZING!!!! I also tried the white chocolate macadamia nut cookie which was not too overpowering with either the chocolate or nuts. Honestly, Chip is amazing and I'm glad i don't live too close to their locations because otherwise I would be eating 7 cookies a week from this place.

Chip serves one of the best cookies in New York. The chocolate chip cookie is my all time favorite but their strawberry shortcake cookie is a close second. The neighborhood Chip is located in is great as well to walk around and burn off those cookie calories :)

A close second favorite cookie for me after Levain's. Crunchy exterior and gooey inside. Definitely on the sweeter side. I like how inventive they are with their flavors but I gotta say that not every cookie is a 5 star. But that's the risk you run when you're experimental like they are and no matter what the cookie is at worst, good. Also, every time I go the workers are very nice. Hardly ever a line since there's a few around the city.

Amazing cookies Slightly overpriced given $4 for a cookie is definitely expensive, but it's well worth!! They have some awesome flavors, and even with delivery, the cookie arrives toasty and warm and literally MELTS when you eat it. I love cookies, and I honestly didn't think this would be mind-blowing because cookies are just cookies you know, but it definitely tasted so good Funfetti and S'mores are both great picks if you don't know what to choose. That being said, I'm sure they're all really good. I'm going to take my sweet time going through the whole menu and try every cookie they have to offer, so I may come back to update this review as I go along! If you live near a Chip NYC store, highly recommend trying this place out

Favorite cookie spot! I go almost every week because I live near the one in Astoria! Chip offers 4 different flavors per day (menu is available on their website few days in advance as well!!). The flavors rotate so be sure to check their website if you have a specific flavor in mind! The cookies are crunchy on the outside and gooey inside!
