Went to this location before 6P for a steak bowl. Waited in a very long line to place order. The young staff clearly need much more training, understanding of customer service and supervision of an on-site manager. As I approached to finally place my order, they began to yell out all of the items they did not have. The only proteins left were chicken and barbacoa. Customers were asking how long the wait would be for steak, carne asada & pork, & the young staff said that the meats will not be replaced tonight - that when it's gone, it's gone. My question is if your location is open until 10P, and you're out of the majority of your food items, and not planning to replenish, why stay open!? Close at 6. Have your staff prep and prepare the missing items instead of standing around yelling about what they cannot give the customers. If that is not bad enough, the staff literally slopped stuff in customers' bowls and over/into other food items below. I unwisely got the barbacoa (1 of the 2 protein options left). I had to wait to pay as a customer wanted a receipt and it took 3 staff and quite some time to put new paper into the register. Apparently prior to this person, receipts were not being offered. As I stood waiting, I watched the one staff wipe the counter of numerous items that coated it, with his gloved hands, and he pushed it all into the mild salsa tray 😳!! He continued to handle food & serve customers afterwards. I was going to just toss my food there, but brought it home. When I opened it, I found that it was icy cold (maybe the meat, corn or tomatoes came directly from the freezer!??) & the barbacoa was one big unedible hunk of meat, held together by a very long stringy piece of muscle/fat (?), that was several inches long! Thank goodness noone ate this, as it was disgusting and a huge choking hazard! I did throw out at home. The food was not edible and likely not prepared and served in a safe & sanitary manner. The whole experience turned my stomach! I called the customer service number on the receipt and they said that they would return my money for the order. I hope that their regional manager gets in there and makes some significant improvement in food availability, quality and staff training. Until then, I wouldn't waste your time, money and potentially risk your health by eating there. By looking at other reviews, this is not an isolated issue. Very disappointing!
