We came to Chippendale Resorations hoping for help with restoring a heritage fireplace — something they specifically specialise in. Unfortunately, our experience couldn’t have been more disheartening.
When we tried to explain what we were looking for and showed a photo, the staff member we spoke to wouldn’t even look at it. There was no attempt to understand our needs, offer advice, or even just be polite. We weren’t expecting miracles — even if they couldn’t source the parts, a little kindness and basic customer service would have gone a long way.
Instead, we were made to feel like we were wasting their time. We left feeling unwelcome, disrespected, and genuinely upset. It’s really disappointing when a business that’s meant to help preserve history shows so little care for the people trying to do just that.
