Chiquita's Tamarindo

Chiquito’s in Tamarindo is a must-visit if you’re in the area. The tacos were incredible—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. They definitely live up to the hype, and the restaurant does a great job promoting exactly what they deliver: great food in a laid-back, welcoming vibe. The service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm without being overbearing. On top of that, the drinks were phenomenal. Whether you’re into cocktails or just looking to cool down with something refreshing, they know what they’re doing behind the bar. Highly recommend if you’re craving great tacos, great drinks, and a solid atmosphere to kick back and enjoy the Tamarindo vibe.

This place is AMAZING. Delicious food, this is my second time in Tamarindo and this is the best restaurant here. I came here two nights in a row. Juan Carlos was an amazing server he was so fun and kind. He helped me get the stain out of my dress when I spilled. 5 star service. The food and vibe will not dissapoint!

Delicious! Highly recommend! 10/10. Excellent service. The vibe was freaking amazing. Nablo music was fire and the Burria tacos were some of the best I have ever had! The passionfruit marg with tahin was divine!

Amazing food and happening nightlife. The live music was lovely with dinner then the dj came on and the place was hopping. The servers were fantastic. Brian was wonderful, very helpful and attentive. The Bartender, Allison, was fabulous, she recommended and made the best cocktails. Will definitely be back next time I come through town.

My fiancé and I have spent a week in Tamarindo, exploring multiple fantastic restaurants, and Chiquitas is hands-down our favorite. I ordered the tuna, and it was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and easily the best meal I’ve had here. The live music added to the vibrant atmosphere, making the experience even more memorable. To top it off, the drinks were outstanding—highly recommend any of the Mezcalitas!

We came in with a group of 7 for a late dinner and had an amazing time! It was such a relief to find a spot still serving dinner after 10pm. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was top-notch from start to finish. The energy was perfect for our celebration. The DJ kept the vibe alive and had the bride dancing all night. Huge thanks to the team for making this such a fun and memorable night for our bride and group.

What a lovely hidden gem. Beautiful location, the service was outstanding! Food was amazing, and the live music was an added bonus! We were so stuffed after our apetizer and main, that we had no space for dessert. I will be back for the churros 🫶 Pura Vida

Juan Carlos was the best. Every recommendation he made was amazing. The drinks and food were exceptional. We will definitely be back. Live music and space was great date night atmosphere.
