Chiquita's Tamarindo

Chiquitas was such a vibe! The atmosphere is very boutique feel. Chino and Santos was so kind and friendly. Chino made the best Espresso Martini I’ve had since staying in Costa Rica. Santos killed it with the Passion Fruit and Tamarindo Margarita. The food was amazing and fulfilling. We would definitely come back. Ask for Chino and Santos 🤪

Chiquito’s in Tamarindo is a must-visit if you’re in the area. The tacos were incredible—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. They definitely live up to the hype, and the restaurant does a great job promoting exactly what they deliver: great food in a laid-back, welcoming vibe. The service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm without being overbearing. On top of that, the drinks were phenomenal. Whether you’re into cocktails or just looking to cool down with something refreshing, they know what they’re doing behind the bar. Highly recommend if you’re craving great tacos, great drinks, and a solid atmosphere to kick back and enjoy the Tamarindo vibe.

Alison and Chino were super friendly and provided awesome service. The drinks were fantastic and the food was amazing! They even had a live reggae band playing while we ate dinner. Great ambiance!

Delicious! Highly recommend! 10/10. Excellent service. The vibe was freaking amazing. Nablo music was fire and the Burria tacos were some of the best I have ever had! The passionfruit marg with tahin was divine!

This place is AMAZING. Delicious food, this is my second time in Tamarindo and this is the best restaurant here. I came here two nights in a row. Juan Carlos was an amazing server he was so fun and kind. He helped me get the stain out of my dress when I spilled. 5 star service. The food and vibe will not dissapoint!

Me and my girlies were walking by and heard beautiful live music. We decided to check out the vibe and the vibes were awesome! Juan Carlos and Alison were very attentive, fun, knowledgeable about the menu and provided us with exceptional customer service. Drinks and food were wonderful too. Pura Vida

Amazing food and happening nightlife. The live music was lovely with dinner then the dj came on and the place was hopping. The servers were fantastic. Brian was wonderful, very helpful and attentive. The Bartender, Allison, was fabulous, she recommended and made the best cocktails. Will definitely be back next time I come through town.

We had our pre-wedding dinner at Chiquita’s with our closest friends, and it was absolutely perfect. The staff were incredibly attentive, warm, and friendly, making us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was fresh and drinks were delicious! They surprised us with celebratory champagne and sparklers, which made the evening feel even more special. It truly set the tone for our entire wedding weekend, and we can’t thank them enough for such a memorable experience!
