Chiringuito La Cepa Playa Fuengirola

Let's start with the positive point: grilled sardines are very tasty. But: Service: we arrived at 2.30pm, place not so busy, still it took a good 10/15mn for someone to take our order, despite numerous waiters looking at us and ignoring our table. Amazing. Cleanliness: dirty napkins, used ketchup rosette, tomatoes, chips and sauces laying on the floor. Waiters passing next to it but the floor must be too low for them to pick it up. Sangria: 18€ a jug of 1L, quiet pricy, but, considering the taste, the lack of fresh cut fruits and the colour we are closer to a lemonade jug with a top up of red wine than a sangria. That makes it even more expensive, we are edging a rip-off. Oh well...

I am from Málaga and the Espetos are the best I’ve ever tried so far, the team work is incredible, specially the Espeteros; Sergio and Oscar, they are so humble and kind its so nice to see the great team work they do to make the clients happy with the food they make. I really recommend La Cepa if you have never been there. It’s amazing. The price is absolutely suitable for the food quality!

Stumbled across here by chance and was very pleasantly surprised. Friendly and generous staff and great sardines. Will definitely return. You can also bring your drinks to the beach which is beside the bar.

Let me explain where I get 2 starts from - Taste- one star ⭐️ Service when you come in - one star ⭐️ I was disappointed because they didn’t have anything we asked for. - Bread - I had to ask the girl several times, then she finally tells me they ran out and they needed to go to the store to get some. - aioli sauce - ran out so they offered mayonnaise 😛 - grilled sardines - this is why we came !!!! And they ran out. It’s was 2:30 in the afternoon ! The people working here were all very nice and friendly, but not having what’s on the menu is a big deal. I’d rather try something else rather than come back

The owner a woman a racist people!!! If you are not looking blond and rich you are latetly attended, the husband is a despot and the waitrees too pour people working too much voor really nothing,..just a pitty ill never come back ill advice you not to come,!! For sure save your money xx and notpay these stupid people... i libe im

We ate lunch there a couple days ago, and we were scammed with our bill. We ate 3 dishes, and one if them was a Dorada, with a price of 53 euros which ridiculous!!. They lie to tourist and I do not recommend anyone going to this place at all. Dont waste your money here.

Our favourite beach bar. Eat at the table and view the sea. Or relax on the beach and order food & drink brought to you. It seems to have been refurbished recently and looks very smart (toilets very clean). Quick service. My favourite snack is boquerones al limon - wonderful.

Awful service. Sat there for 20mins and all other tables got attended but not mine. If you are white female in early fourties’, don’t expect to get served there.
