Chiringuito

I got the recommendation from a friend to visit this restaurant. The place is very beautifully decorated and it is located right at the port, so you have a very nice view on the water and all the boats. I ordered the Tagliatelle with chicken and mushrooms, covered with a white truffle sauce and it was so delicious. I wanted to lick the sauce off the plate, that's how much i loved it. I don't usually order pasta at restaurants anymore since i have very high standards for pasta and i have a very particular taste in how i want it to taste, so the fact that i loved this one so much really says a lot. I would recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Tanger, it's a must to try out their pasta!

This restaurant is amazing in every way. The location alone lifts your spirits, especially at sunset. I didn’t try many dishes this time, but I’ll definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu.

We were in the mood for some different type of food so decided to check Chiringuito. We entered the restaurant to request a table. She was hesitant as we did not have reservations despite the restaurant being empty. She proceeded to escort us to our table at the rear of the restaurant. We politely requested a table closer to the window to enjoy the view. She said it was reserved for a party an hour and half later. We insisted on another table closer to the window. She actually rolled her eyes and said fine sit.The attitude of the hostess was unaccounted for. Servers: casually all standing around watching. Finally two one came over to take our order. Onto the food, tried different variations of pasta (mushroom & salmon). There was plenty of sauce and it was tasty. The steak was done to our liking. The hummus was out least favorite,it was just a mushy chickpeas blend. The location is great, right by the water, the nice breeze coming in, the dj was setting up for the night. At one point, they starting putting candle lights onto each table but decided we werent worthy so skipped our table. Despite the nice ambiance and the decent food, I would still never visit this restaurant based solely on the service and attitude of the employees. It was as if we were an inconvenience to them for being there. An hour and 45 min later, the restaurant was still empty.

Very nice and cozy place, the staff are friendly and the service is good, the food is amazing and delicious. I normally go early around 7-8 pm so I don’t need any reservations but I believe that weekends it’s going to be crowded after 9pm. They serve alcoholic beverages.

I went with friends for dinner, the food was really good and the waiters were nice. My phone run out of battery and I asked them if they could charge it, they said no problem and I gave them my phone with my brand new charger. When we finished our dinner I asked in the reception for my phone and they gave it to me without my charger( it was not charging) I asked for my charger and they gave me an old charger that doesn’t even work, I said it it was not my charger and they said that it’s the only one they have, the hostess even laughed and recommended me to put nail polish on my charger so I don’t loose it next time. I left with the old charger they gave me to not make a drama for such a cheap thing, and then I found out it doesn’t even work. Disgusting how they take care of their clients. Of course I will never come back and never recommend this place to anyone.

Maybe the best restaurant I have tried in Tangier. Every dish is well prepared and taste good as it looks. There Is a friendly environment with soft music. And warm atmosphere. Better book at weekends
