Chisun Grand Nagano

Had a fantastic family stay at this hotel. Just around 5 minute walk from the station. Our room offered a view of the station and train tracks, which is perfect for our train-loving son. He couldn't have been happier watching the trains come and go. Lobby was spacious and inviting, with cozy reading areas. Breakfast was buffet style (japanese). We also loved the unlimited free drinksーsuch a nice touch after a day of exploring. The Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Our family of 4 booked two rooms for 3 nights. Rooms were clean and tidy. The hotel is very close to Nagano station which was perfect for us as we did day trips to Nozawa onsen for skiing. Plenty of eateries near the hotel. Free tea and coffee in the lobby. They have a laundry on level 2 with a dryer, very fast washing 30 min cycles and the dryer was very hot so we only needed two cycle of coins. We weee able to store our luggage until check in time in the lobby at the lockers and luggage racks. Great hotel - staff were very helpful. Toiletries provided include body wash, shampoo and conditioner.

I really enjoyed my stay at this place. Yes, the facilities are old as some reviews say, but everything is in good condition and this hotel has a personality and certain atmosphere! My room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. The staff is very helpful and polite. Not only the hotel checked me in early, I also was able to leave my luggage the next day after check out, travel and come back for it. I liked the breakfast (please note that it’s traditional food only), the location is also pretty good, I think.

This is a decent hotel within walking distance of Nagano Station. The rooms are small by international standards but typical for Japan. They're clean and fully equipped. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I'd recommend it to a friend and would stay again.

Amazing Stay at a Charming Hotel We had an incredible stay at this hotel! While it is an older property, it exceeded our expectations in every way. Friendly and Accommodating Staff The staff was so friendly and went above and beyond to help us as foreigners. Their warm hospitality truly made our stay special. Delicious and Fresh Breakfast The traditional breakfast was absolutely delicious and fresh every morning. P.S. If you visit during the winter like we did, the breakfast area on the top floor offers an amazing view of the snow-covered mountains! Unbelievably Clean The cleanliness of the room was unreal. For an older hotel, it was spotless—especially the glass surfaces, which were gleaming and cleaner than anything we’ve seen, even in luxury hotels. Like no joke, normally this would be dull or scratched. The staff here KNOWS HOW TO CLEAN! Convenient Location and Quiet Rooms The hotel’s location is fantastic, just a 5-minute walk from Nagano Station, making it super convenient for travel. Even though our room was close to the street, it was very quiet, with only the faint sound of trains, which added to the charm. Exceptional Service What touched us the most was the thoughtful service. Even though we didn’t request room cleaning(Do not disturb), the staff left us a bag with fresh towels. We’ve stayed in many hotels, including 5-star ones, and have never experienced such care and attention. Highly Recommend! We highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Nagano area. We enjoyed staying at Chisun Grand Nagano. While the property is a little old, it’s very well maintained, clean, and sufficiently lighted. The room size is spacious. The room service did very good job in cleaning the room every day. Front office desk staff was very helpful with sending our big luggage. Thank you and much appreciated.

The hotel is old but clean, no public bath. Parking is not complimentary. Location is not near to the attraction. Hotel is located beside the train track but the noise is acceptable. The amenities provided is just some basic stuff. The front line staff at the desk doesn't even smile with courtesy when i asked him questions.

The room is clean and quiet. Love the shower head and the coffee machine in the room. Besides that, they also provide free coffee and other stuffs. The staffs are nice, friendly and helpful. Altough the location is about 7 mins walk from Nagano Station; we really enjoy our 3 night's stay at Chisun.
