Found My Favorite Cold Brew… and a New Reason to Love Kingston What an amazing find on my first morning in Kingston! Chit Chat Café blew me away — the owner is incredibly warm and welcoming, taking time to share not only the menu but also local tips and even the café’s history. Her passion truly made me fall in love with Kingston. The cold brew? Hands down the best I’ve ever had in Canada — rich, smooth, and never watered down, thanks to the genius idea of using frozen coffee cubes. The burger was just as impressive: juicy, fresh, and full of flavor, with a perfectly crisped bun and bacon. This place has the kind of soul you rarely find anymore. Five stars all the way. If you’re in town, do yourself a favor: grab a cold brew, have a chat with the owner, and if you’re smart, don’t leave without a burger!

Great location, excellent home style breakfast sandwich on delicious bread, good fresh coffee and friendly owners. Prices are very reasonable for downtown! Lots of seating apparently. Very cool place.

There’s a loft space where you can do work or catch up with friends, and various communal activities you can do (ex. Crochet). The coffee is great. I also had Tuna sandwich with pickle on the side, was really nice as well. Cafe is 25 years plus. Wooden used on side shelves is from the office of first prime minister office.

This place is so cute, and the server was incredibly kind and sweet. Really efficient with how busy it is.The food, the service, the drinks and the atmosphere..highly recommended. Will return when im back in Kingston.

A really nice, cozy café with consistently lovely service. They always make sure your drink is just right and are happy to make changes if needed. The soups and sandwiches are delicious too. My go-to spot whenever I’m downtown!

The loft is such a cute spot for a study session with a yummy iced coffee. They use ice cubes made out of coffee here! Highly recommend.

They even took the time to teach us how to pronounce local street names—a thoughtful touch that adds to the charm of this cafe. Whether you're a local or just passing through Kingston, Chit Chat Cafe is a must-visit destination. Trust me; you won't be disappointed.
