20251229 - ate here twice during my stay in takayama. Place was located near bus terminal and very popular. Ordered yakisoba with egg, squid and pork and another time ramen. Generous portion of ramen and ingredients given and definitely value for money.

Great value for money and decent taste but the ramen is more on the salty side. I personally felt their yakisoba are way better. Ticketed machine, self service water and green tea plus remember to clear your own to able.
They offer takeaways.

Trying out the takayama ramen and sobakiya, both were good. We arrived 10mins before they open, there’s already a short queue.

Great gyoza and Ramen from a place frequented by local workers and tourists. Good value ¥4000 for 2 including big beers. Order from machine, cash only. Picture menu with numbers. Can't go wrong.

Love the causal eatery vibes.
Not the best yakisoba but cheap and enjoyable ambience.

Had dinner here as a tourist with my family. The yakisoba tasted great and the Chinese style soup noodle satisfied the carving with hot soup on a cold day outside. The price was great. Too bad they did not have any Hida Beef Noodles or it would have been a fantastic addition to this place. Thumbs up!

Delicious food, reasonable prices, worth queuing. There are only a few menus, but every menu is very delicious. The yakisoba is very good, the noodles are soft and chewy, and the sauce is unique and fragrant. The ramen soup is very delicious. Delicious and fragrant gyoza

Arrived promptly when they opened at 5pm. Lady server showed us to our table and handed instructions in English. Once you know your order you walk up to the vending machine, use cash (only) to place your order. Sit down and the server "takes" your order. Water and cups are free. 10 minutes later and food was brought to the table. Hot chili oil and soy sauce were set at the table. Once done, you bus your tray. Two big meals of pork with yakisoba noodles cost $15 usd. Solid food for the price. Think simple American diner. Only foreign travelers in the restaurant at the time. The rest of the patrons were locals. 40 minutes later we stepped outside and there was a line of 20 people waiting. Simple and local. Highly recommend!
