Museo del Cacao y Chocolate Choco Story Zocalo

Truly one of the coolest museums I've been to, as it was fully gamified! Your audioguide is not only there to give you 60 separate tidbits of info as you stroll, but is also your key to a variety of interactive games and activities in each room! Then, in the end, there is a scoreboard just like at a laser tag place! What a brilliant way to get kids (and kids at heart) excited about learning. A+ to the designer of this museum; I wish they could design them all!! Another fun element was the chocolate workshop, which we signed up for in advance. Yum!

I visited the museum last week, and it was absolutely incredible the architecture, the rooms, the immersive scents, the way they explain the history behind everything, even the molds. I loved every bit of it. It’s a truly interactive museum with games and activities, including a mini cinema and an olfactory section. The final demonstration was amazing 100% recommended. I can’t wait to go back for the workshops they offer.

At your own pace with Audio; museum is pretty, air condition, clean and you get to sample chocolates and see a demonstration.

Wonderful interactive museum. Learned not only about the history of chocolate, which was fascinating in and by itself, but also the history of Mexico. The two histories are inextricably linked. Architecturally beautiful building. And the chocolate was delicious!!

Must visit spot while in CDMX—fun and very interactive cultural experience. And while you're there, plan to have lunch at the restaurant on the rooftop, with the best views of the city center, and the food is world-class!
