On the Grid : Chocolate Pi

"An artisan scratch dessert shop with hand crafted chocolates, macarons, sodas, coffees, cakes and ice cream, you can stop in to grab a sweet treat while perusing their selection of local gifts, like a "library book" scented candle and a cheeky collection of greeting cards. Located next to the Epicurean Hotel, it's a one stop shop for a latte and a laugh." - Spark

This is our favorite and undoubtedly the best dessert spot in Tampa! The owner is incredibly talented and very polite. No matter what you try, you won’t be disappointed. My personal favorite is the pecan pie. She also creates stunning and tasty party/wedding cakes and flawlessly recreate any design you request. Highly highly recommend!

Chocolate π is a small and cozy coffee shop located in a very busy intersection of N Florida. They have been there for about 5 years. The owner was very friendly and baked nice looking cakes as I was able to observe. although not much variety, what I picked was delicious and in my opinion, if you see enough, that means it sells out quickly. I enjoyed my banana custard pie and my decaf tea. She had nice clientele coming in while I was there and yes, if I'm by the area again, I'm definitely swinging to try a slice of cake and coffee. She has macarons, pies, cakes, coffee, tea and other beverages. I hope you are able to swing by for some pie or slice of cake. Let me know what you think🥰 and of course, let's keep supporting small businesses💪

The owner is the absolute sweetest just like her delicious pastries! Have never had a bad experience here. Definitely worth trying their macaroons! Especially their giant macaroons they are to DIE for. If you're looking for an awesome local bakery to support definitely spend your dollars here! 🩷

Got the macaroons, lavender latte, and raspberry cake. I'm absolutely mind blown. I don't really write reviews at all but this food was so amazing I had to give it a 5 star review

This place is adorable!!!! Probably the best cake and macaroons I’ve ever tasted ❣️ We got to chat with the owner and she is so kind. My husband and I wanted something sweet after eating dinner at a near by restaurant and I’m so glad we found this gem! I want to bring all my friends & family back to take in the great atmosphere and delicious sweets. I’m also thinking anytime someone has a birthday or special event I’m coming back to get those lovely macaroons to share!

Delicious! Kim makes everything fresh in the kitchen here at the store! Absolutely beautiful ambience! Also has coffees and espresso, amazing pies, and cakes, very sweet though!

Google
The Macaroons are fantastic. My personal favorite is the Chocolate Pi and the lemon raspberry tart. Those are amazing. I want to try the chocolate cakes but the tarts have been so damn good! It’s dangerous living nearby to such good desserts

Google
Amazing cake! The pistachio praline and pecan praline cake is so moist and flavorful. Everything in the shop looks like it was made with love!

Tianyi L.

Yelp
It was cute. I got the pistachio praline cake. The banana ice cream and I got the raspberry vanilla cake to go. Very quite kinda empty

Yelp
Adorable, local bakery and cafe in Seminole heights that serves homemade cakes, macaroons, desserts, and coffees. I love the antique/vintage decor of the place, and the owner is incredibly sweet. I stopped in late one evening for a sweet treat and she was very inviting and explained all of the different desserts that she had available. However, after hearing all of the hype about the delicious cakes, I felt like mine left much to the imagination. I hope that this was just a weird fluke. Dessert: I opted for a slice of the raspberry framboise cake which was served on cute china. But honestly the cake was pretty disappointing... the entire slice was extremely hard, almost as if the case it was stored in was too cold or it was presliced and sitting. Since I was dining in I didn't really have the time to allow the cake to come to room temp. The vanillabean buttercream was incredibly sweet and hard, and the vanilla bean cake itself was hard as well. I did enjoy the raspberries in between the layers and they added to the visual appeal. Drink: I ordered the Salted rose latte which was delicious and the presentation was beautiful! Would explore more of their lattes. Overall, I would give this place another try. The macaroons looked delicious.

Yelp
I don't get the hype. I'm sorry. I know this bakery has been around for a long time and the owner has an impressive background but the cake simply wasn't that good. Too sweet, too dry and crumbly, and way too expensive. The chocolate pie was good, but the crust was as hard as a rock and pretty much flew across the table when I tried to cut into it. The ambiance is very vintage and cute, but that's about the only thing I enjoyed.

Yelp
This is a review for Sunday afternoon, tea. I unfortunately have no pictures because I was amazed by all of the delicious things that were presented to me.. starting with a pot of tea, of course pumpkin, chai tea, then the standard mozzarella and tomato Caprese salad. Now I've been to tea all throughout the United States and Canada, and this is by far my favorite. When you have high tea curated by a pastry, chef, you're in for an over-the-top delight. Her cross on her quiche is full of visible layers of amazing. Another unique addition is the savory macaroons. I can't even tell you and describe how amazing and delicious this amazing amazing high tea is. Five stars service five star location, five star all the way
google avatar

Yelp
I attended an afternoon tea put on by Chocolate Pi with some girlfriends and we all loved it. It was a cozy atmosphere to get together and catch up. The tea selection was pumpkin chai, offered with cream and rock sugar. We enjoyed many savory treats: cucumber sandwiches, quiche, bacon and goat cheese macaron, caprese, ham macaron; and sweet bites: eclairs, pumpkin pie macaron, German chocolate macaron, walnut scone. My personal favorites were the quiche, bacon, and chocolate macaron. I would definitely come back in the future, for tea or some cake and pie!

Joy D.

Yelp
Kim, the human who makes all the desserts, is highly talented tee and so nice. Great atmosphere, great cake. I tried the guava cake and the lemon raspberry macaron and they were both really good. The cake was moist and fresh, you can tell everything is made with care.

Yelp
The cake I had here was one of the best cakes I ever had in my life! This is something thay left a mark in me! I went twice! And I recommend to everybody! Can't wait to be back. The ladies were very sweet! I was happy to be there!

Yelp
Chocolate Pi is the ultimate sweet escape, especially during Valentine's Week! From their heavenly pineapple upside-down cake to the adorable chocolate heart macaron filled with delicious goodness, every bite was a little slice of dessert heaven. The cozy atmosphere and friendly owner made my visit even sweeter. Anyone else remember when Chocolate Pi was at Epicurean? It's so nice to see the business continuing on in the Seminole Heights community. Whether you're celebrating love or just craving something delicious, Chocolate Pi is the perfect spot to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings! It is on the slightly pricier side ($20 for my slice of cake and macaron), so choose your indulgence wisely. But you'll be so happy you went for a visit.

Yelp
came to visit for the first time from South Florida. I am impressed and very happy to see the beautiful place and beautiful people.. the cake was 10 out 10.. will definitely be back with family soon..

Yelp
Absolutely one of the best coffee and dessert places in Tampa bay. The owner makes the desserts herself and has picked out the decor as well. She has expertly curated tons amazing vintage furniture and other antiques with fun pops of pink to create the cutest atmosphere. She has one of the most unique coffee menus in the area, coming from someone who's tried them all. Her desserts are pretty & taste amazing. I would definitely recommend this spot for a date night.

Yelp
This was our first visit to Chocolate Pi and we are so very happy. Everything is sooooo good. We ordered slices of chocolate cake, Black & White cake, Raspberry cake, Chocolate Peanut Butter tart, Creme Brûlée, Espresso Macaron, Lavender Mocha, and a Salted Rose Espresso drink. The cafe is really cool and decorated with antiques. This is a very charming cafe that I recommend. The Lavender Mocha is with Dark chocolate which I love.

Yelp
Came on a Friday night and the place was dead. The owner was blunt/brisk. For a place called chocolate pi it definitely had limited chocolate options. We ordered the chocolate creme pie and the framboise raspberry cake. Firstly, they were expensive $28 for two small slices. The raspberry cake was dry, stale, and icing was cloyingly sweet. The chocolate creme pie crust was also stale and very hard that we had trouble cutting into it. The chocolate itself was ok, rich creme but ultimately disappointing. Overall the place seems to be attempting to sell underwhelming pastries at a gourmet price.

Yelp
We wanted a stunning cake for my parent's Golden Wedding Anniversary and that is exactly what we got. Not only that, it tasted great too...which is a hard to find combo usually when it comes to cakes (at least in my opinion). This was so moist and flavorful. Everyone loved it, again which is rare. The champagne flavor went perfectly with the theme. The owner was friendly and super easy it work with. Could not have asked for a better experience. Will definitely be back & refer to all my friends. Side note: the macarons had amazing flavor & texture and the Mocha lavender coffee is absolutely addicting! You've been warned

Yelp
ONE OF MY FAVVVV SPOTS SINCE HIGHSCHOOL!!! My favorite cake slice spot!! Ambiance is vintage and cute and the service is great! The owner is supperrr sweet! My ABSOLUTE GO-TO is the blueberry cake I see it in my dreams honestly I've been going here since I was in high school and will continue to support!

Yelp
After an amazing dinner at Rooster and the Till, I stopped in for something sweet. It's adorably decorated with antiques and vintage furniture, making you feel as if you're back in victorian times. I opted for a slice of the Salted Caramel cake, and it was wonderful! The owner makes all the deserts herself, so I can appreciate the time and effort put into these lovely and delicious deserts.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm mad it took me this long to try this place. It's absolutely adorable on the inside and the service is nice. I was disappointed the espresso machine was down when I went because I long to try one of the fancy looking lattes. I settled for a cold brew like latte which was OK. I'll definitely be back to try the cute lattes though! Other than that, the dessert is FANTASTIC. Their macarons are definitely in my top 3 best macarons in Tampa. Macarons are my weakness and I will be visiting this place quite often now to get them!

Yelp
I had just about given up trying to find a proper piece of cake in Tampa. But ever the optimist, I decided to come here on a whim. Hours are extremely limited. And the place looks like it's either closing soon or being remodeled. But these ladies know how to bake. Stop eating that garbage from the Publix bakery or even Wrights Gourmet House and come here for your cake needs.

Yelp
Service was great, food was adequate, pricing was outrageous. Shop is charming and a great location.

Yelp
For the past 8 years, my husband orders my birthday cake from here. Each year it gets better and better! Kim is super sweet and I often take my daughter on the weekends for macarons or a slice of raspberry framboise

Yelp
Came here for dessert date night and loved it. The owner greeted us and gave us a run down of the menu, all homemade pastries and ice cream. We enjoyed cookies and crème cake with graham cracker ice cream and a couple cappuccinos. I'll be back to satisfy my sweet tooth for sure

Yelp
This is a must-visit sweets shop located in a ridiculously unassuming building in South Seminole Heights. The outside of the building does absolutely no justice to how cute this place is on the inside or how fabulous the treats taste in here. All of the deserts are made by the owner, featuring an array of beautiful cakes, pies, ice creams, and macaroons. My friend has an unrelenting sweet tooth, so we stopped in to check it out. We had such a hard time deciding on our order, but ended up deciding on a slice of the Brown Sugar Pie with Chocolate Chips, an espresso macaroon, and a birthday cake macaroon. We also ordered an iced tea and a warm tea. The owner served our tea at the table which was such a nice touch. The shop is clean and beautifully decorated with a variety of tastefully selected furniture and a beautiful array of tea cups, tea kettles, old cookbooks, and a collection of other lovely decor pieces. I highly recommend this spot to anyone who enjoys beautiful and tasty deserts in a gorgeous setting.

Yelp
Hands down, some of the best dessert I've ever had in my life. It's always super exciting coming here, there's new and unique flavors each time and they're all amazing! Just recently I got the brown sugar chocolate chip pie (not pictured because I ate it too fast), and everything about it was perfect. Super rich and decadent, with the most buttery crust. Definitely get ice cream with your cake or pie here too, because their graham cracker flavor is to die for. I can't wait for the next special occasion so I have an excuse to buy a whole pie for myself, seriously you gotta come here right now!

Yelp
Our dessert at Chocolate Pie was a perfect cherry on top for our perfect dinner date night. I love the space and decor of Chocolate Pi. This was my first time since it has been in this location. We had the framboise cake which was so light and the raspberries complimented it well. We also had the strawberry shortcake latte. I felt like that was so extraordinary. Next time I want to try the exotica cake and the Brushed Suede Latte. What a perfect dessert spot!! So love it!!
google avatar

Arianna A.

Yelp
The decor in Chocolate Pi is sweet with its hand-painted wall designs, old pictures on the wall, and lovely antique pieces. There is plenty of seating including little bistro tables and two benches with comfy pillows lining the walls with tables and chairs. There is a sweet, little teapot displayed that I wish that I could take home. This place would be a really nice place to come after dinner with your significant other, meet up with friends, or even come by yourself to work or read a good book. Now on to why we came here. The desserts and lattes. Well, the chocolate cake is delicious! It is the thickness of a brownie with a yummy buttercream icing. The cake was dense and moist. The icing was light with just the right amount of sweetness. The chocolate latte was "motherf***ing" delicious. That's how my friend described it. I mean, it was good! LOL! I also had the "Tutti Frutti" macaroon (I'm sure that's not the name) and the caramel and sea salt macaron. They were fresh, crispy, light, and yummy. I will definitely be back to Chocolate Pi. I'm glad I checked this place out.
google avatar

Jo A.

Yelp
I finally got to try this place! I got the charcoal latte (can't remember the name) but it was sparkly and pretty! We also got a salted caramel cake of some sort and that was also very tasty! I wanted to try more stuff but had to pace myself. It'll just be another reason for us to go back! The shop is so quirky and the ladies that were working there were so nice and helpful!

Yelp
Pros: Cute interior that feels almost like Victorian England. Friendly customer service. Framboise cake. (French for Raspberry). This is a vanilla cake with fresh raspberries layered through with pink frosting. The cake is one of the most dense cakes I've eaten. It was very different -very thick with few holes and less spongy than most vanilla cakes I've had (I don't know if that is due to the baking materials/process or refrigeration). The frosting was rich and creamy and raspberries were fresh. 3.5/5 Smores Chocolate Tart - This was a chocolate disc with a crust as the base. It was garnished with molten marshmallow approximately 3-4 inches in height. The chocolate was cold , rich and very delicious. The crust was flaky. The marshmallow was yummy, but I felt that made up the vast majority of the dessert rather than the actual tart . Still 4.5/5. Cons: Closed Sundays. The tart prices are not on their menu board, which listed cake, ice cream/drink/pi but not tarts. I mistakenly thought that the price was the same as the "pi", but was a little dismayed that the price was $11.50. When I asked the customer service about it initially, she did not mention that tarts were significantly higher than the other items. The cake slice was $7. Truth be told, I was expecting most of the items to be between $6-9 similar to Toffee House in South Tampa or Swah-rey in St Pete. I know that indie business use higher quality and higher costing ingredients, but still it's a bit much. The building is a nondescript one story off white building. When driving on Florida, it is kind of hard to spot especially when driving southbound. The building is on the northbound side of Florida avenue. I actually turned into the now defunct Refinery restaurant by accident . If you're walking its not an issue, but who walks in Florida?

Yelp
All I can say is I'm so glad Chocolate Pi is back! Now it's in Seminole Heights. Today was the grand opening and I was one of the first in the door thanks to an invite from my friend Charlie S. who hadn't had it before the S. Tampa closure last year. You can see from my photos that I kind of went nuts because I really missed the desserts especially the cake! I'm not going to lie I was pretty bummed that the coffee machine broke down before the grand opening because I was looking forward to the Matcha latte. It was clearly the best one I've had in town. So I have to admit that I tried to stay away as much as possible from the old south Tampa location And I was only going there to give myself a treat once in a while to reward myself for specific goals. However last year on Valentine's Day after dinner I told my husband hey let's go to chocolate pie I want a cake. To my surprise chocolate pie was gone. So glad that a year later it's back in this year I'll be able to have a chocolate pie for Valentine's Day! As soon as that coffee machine is fixed I'm coming right back in! No more trying to stay away because this is so good and I've missed it. When I have a craving I'm just coming in forget rewarding myself for reaching goals!

Yelp
They're back! They're back! And better than ever. Seriously. This time around they have easier parking in the form of their own parking lot, and a bigger store, with lots more room to hang out and consume all the deliciousness. I stopped by on opening day, and it was so organized, you could tell they knew what they were doing. There were plenty of macrons to be had, and I went with one of my favorites, the salted caramel macaron. Perfection. I also got a piece of their Framboise cake, which is my favorite one here, although the blueberry cake is a close second. It was just as good as I remembered, which is actually unfortunate, because now there is the possibility I will end up eating it every week. Their coffee machine was broken at last check, but hopefully it will be fixed shortly, as I remember their coffee options being crazy good too. Welcome to Seminole Heights Chocolate Pi!

Yelp
Cute little sweets and coffee place that has amazing macaroons, cakes, ice cream and lattes. I'm so glad they opened up again because their glitter lattes were very unique! We had an assortment of macarons but sadly they didn't have any coffee when we visited. It's a very quiet place and would be good to work or study from but bring your devices charged since I didn't notice any outlets. The staff is very friendly and even gave us free water bottles since they didn't have coffee when we visited. I highly recommend if you want a unique sweet experience.

Yelp
Too cute and so good. A bit of construction going on in the area so it was not the easiest to get to. It was so worth it though. The service was great and she's a mind reader. Something on my face must have said even though I'm getting this to-go it's getting eaten in the car. She laughed when I asked "how could you tell?". The decor is nice and I can't wait to bring my staff here. This is a good place to meet a client instead of bucks of star.

Sarah K.

Yelp
A perfect little spot for a treat. Cakes and pies by the slice, a handful of creative coffee drinks, and even some homemade ice cream. I tried the salted rose caramel latte. It was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. I had bites of blueberry cake and a brown sugar- chocolate chip pie. The cake was moist and had great crumble. The pie was a filo crust and not overwhelmingly sweet. It was a perfect after dinner stop.
google avatar

Yelp
There aren't enough descriptive words to describe this place. Chocolate Pi is definitely an experience. The moment you walk in, you feel like you in a vintage home. The dessert cases are always filled with the most beautiful, and extremely delicious, creations. Kim is beyond talented and skilled in her craft. I highly recommend a visit here, IMMEDIATELY!
google avatar

Melina L.

Yelp
Very unimpressed. There was a very small selection available, it had a funny smell. The owner looked tired and unwelcoming and the two cakes I did buy were stale and not very good at all. Sweet but missing the chocolate flavor. So bland. I was so disappointed. i am just hoping I just caught them on a bad day.
google avatar

Shannon W.

Yelp
This place is amazing and so cute! We tried a piece of cake, a piece of pie, and espresso. Everything was incredible, but the blueberry cake was hands down the best cake I've ever had. Kim, the owner, is so friendly (and talented).
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
The owner was incredibly sweet, but the coffee was really just milk with a *hint* of espresso. I was looking forward to coming to this establishment for years because of their glitter coffee and it's true what they say, "never meet your heroes."

Yelp
I have been following this AMAZING dessert spot for about 5 years, and can confidently say one of my best days was when I found out it would open up again in Seminole Heights after they closed across from Bern's. NOTHING HAS CHANGED!! I am so happy I kept stalking social media to find them again!! I asked my family to order a cake from here for my niece's baptism get-together because I was TIRED of having Cakes Plus cakes (nothing against Cakes Plus, but their cakes are OVERWHELMINGLY almond-y), and wanted to have them visit the place so they'd fall in love with it too. While there, they tried the framboise cake (ended up ordering that one for the event) and "the best brownie" they've ever had (their words, not mine). Of course, the cake was a HIT and I talked about my unending love of this place enough to warrant a trip there again. A shout-out to the pastry chef AND MY FAVORITE TEA MAKER, Jade-- I'll be coming in soon!!!!!

Yelp
All right backstory: I wanted to try this place for over two years and when they moved from across the location of Berns I was devastated but little did I know they were taking eight months to find a new place. They open this little gem and it is so chic and adorable. My goal was the black glitter galaxy cappuccino. It did not disappoint it was absolutely adorable and lovely. I got it with oat milk and it was fantastic. Watch that pretty red lip if you're wearing lipstick though because you can easily get those black glitter pieces all up in there. Actually could be a new trend... Try it. We saw a lot of pastry options but love macaroons! So we got four different ones to try. We got fruity pebbles, salted caramel, raspberry green tea and birthday cake. Lucky for y'all, we rated them. Raspberry green tea - 6/10 Okurrrr. The presentation was nice, it had a dried flower on it. If you love green tea you will absolutely love this. I thought I liked green tea but I thought the raspberry was going to curb the green tea taste a little bit. I really don't think I tasted raspberry at all. But the green tea flavor was very distinct. I don't know if maybe I was just hoping for a slight hint of it.‍ Birthday cake - 7/10 Notably was the sprinkles for the cream on this macaroon. It was very eventful being it a birthday cake macaroon. It was delicious but I thought the cream itself was way too sweet. Almost like when you get cake ice cream and it's way way way too sweet but if you go to cold stone it's just right. Salted caramel- 9/10 Honestly this one looks the most plain but it did not disappoint in flavor whatsoever. It actually had cream but then a little bit of caramel in the middle. It was a great surprise! The flavor overall was very consistent and reminiscent of salted caramel. It was a great macaroon! Delectable. Fruity pebbles- 10/10 Now listen, if you don't like fruity pebbles do not get this. It legitimately taste like fruity pebbles. The presentation was fantastic. It threw me back to my fifth grade mornings shoveling it down my throat. It's everything your inner child wants. Just get it. You won't be disappointed. Again unless you don't like fruity pebbles, then give it to a friend. Also I love the Decor of this place it was so stinking cute the chandeliers were adorable again very chic and made for great Instagram photos. I'll definitely be back the outside is pretty bland but the treasures inside obviously. I'm so glad I came. The two-year wait was worth it.

Yelp
Chocolate Pi is a quaint shop with to die for unique desserts- pie (brown, pecan, chocolate), cake-(white chocolate, and more I can't remember), macaroons (espresso, chocolate, more), ice cream and yummy lattes!!! It was very quiet and the owner is gentle and kind. You can tell shes put her heart into the shop. All of the desserts we purchased were delicious and I loved receiving the descriptions of each dessert from the baker herself!! I would definitely recommend this unique experience!

Yelp
One of my favorite for macarons in Tampa. The staff is friendly and the pastries are always fresh. I highly recommend and always look forward to visiting.

Yelp
I was elated when I heard Chocolate Pi is back! They are the perfect addition to the booming restaurant scene in Seminole Heights. Same super cute and French esthetic, seasonally flavored lattes and sweet treats. Just as delicious as before. I happened to get lucky when I came in and they debuted their new banana caramel latte. At first I was hesitant to try this latte because I thought I would be overwhelmed by the banana flavor, but it wasn't too much at all! Very light, but still the perfect hint of banana. My friend also thoroughly enjoyed her strawberry shortcake latte. To accompany our fancy lattes, Charlie S. ordered her favorite macaroons and the I ordered a slice of cake, for breakfast lol! I'm again so thrilled that this place is back. I'm returning for that suede charcoal latte very soon! Follow me around Tampa on insta @red_lip_foodie!

Yelp
Luuucy, I'm home! I don't think I realized how sad I was to lose Chocolate Pi in my life until I finally made it in to the new location. It was so joyfully familiar and spectacularly new all at the same time. It's the most divine little sweets shop we got AND it's pink! I really controlled myself on this visit and stuck to a couple macarons. Chocolate Pi makes them better than anyone (that I've ever had). They don't rely on them being the cutest treats in the case they actually have perfected the pastry. Trust me I watch a lot of Food Network.. from the crispy shell, the bite, the chew, and the balance of sweet, it is magic. The scary thing is that they are so light you can easily forget how indulgent they are and eat 2 or 12 like real fast. What you need to know before you go, because trust me you're going. There's no sign from the road (yet) so you have to look for a pink awning. The building is across from Spaddy's. There's a good amount of parking available. The icing on the cake HA-you're welcome I'll be here all week- is that there are so many tables here. I can't wait to come back and cowork from Chocolate Pi. A day fueled by sweets and glittery lattes sounds like a good day to me. Love you, Pi.

Yelp
The best macarons I've had and the chocolate pie is a dream. The #1 spot when you need to treat yourself to something sweet. The decor is so lovely and inviting as well.
google avatar

Georgia K.

Yelp
The best cakes I've ever had ever! I the hours are weird but I'm kind of glad they're only open a few days a week otherwise I would be eating from here way too much. I hope this place stays open forever even if they go down to one day a week I would seek them out.

Yelp
Chocolate Pi - my oh my! Their desserts are still as delicious as I remembered. I always come here for the Frambroise Cake and it's always a taste of heaven. I've also tried the chocolate cake which is also a tasty treat. However, I must give you a warning- this cake is solely for the chocolate lovers and not the pretenders! If you must taste the chocolate cake then you need to share the slice with a friend- Don't you dare waste this cake!! Lol. The new location for Chocolate Pi is awesome. It is near other restaurants which are in walking distance and would be a great idea during the day time. The decor for this restaurant is still fun and elegant. It definitely reminds me of the antique items my grandparents use to have in their home. I appreciate that Chocolate Pi stays true and doesn't feel the need to compare with other establishments. I'm glad their doors have opened up again and I will be back soon!

Yelp
Super cute dessert spot. I have had this place bookmarked for awhile and was finally able to go after dinner on Saturday. Came in an hour before they closed so I'm sure the selection is larger if you go earlier in the day. Ordered salted caramel cake slice, fruit tart, and guava macaron. Everything tasted great but the fruit tart is my favorite. The macaron is one of the best I've ever had - the flavor, texture, and chewiness was amazing. The salted caramel iced coffee also perfect. Customer service was friendly and helpful. She said that have different items weekly. Unfortunately they are open Thursday-Saturday.

Yelp
This place is a gem. Good coffee, good desserts and rich vintage vibe. The charcoal coffee is actually really good, and the cakes change out weekly so make sure to pop in for that special sweet treat.

Yelp
even if you go nowhere else in tampa, COME HERE. the coffee is out of this world, and anything you can possibly get from bakery is delicious. the owners and staff will treat you like they've known you forever, and the ambiance is homey and sweet. Chocolate Pi will be all you think about when you come to Tampa next.

Yelp
Wonderful dessert shop. All the sweets are homemade and the owner is always there working hard. Get here early for the selections, because it is very popular! You're money is well spent here.

Yelp
Saw this place while we were stuck in traffic, glad we stopped in! We got the chocolate pi and a slice of raspberry cake. Both were really fresh and not overly sweet, just the right amount! The lady who assisted us was also very sweet. Would definitely go back if in the area:)
