I'm not someone who usually leaves reviews--even when I've had negative experiences--but I felt completely uncomfortable during my visit to Chocolate Springs and felt it needed to be shared.
I came in after hearing amazing things from the hotel I'm staying at. They spoke so highly of the chocolates here, and I was genuinely excited to check it out. When I first walked in, I was greeted warmly by a very sweet young woman, which gave me a great first impression.
Unfortunately, that changed quickly. I wanted to see their gelato options but couldn't even get a look because another employee was standing right in front of the case, kissing her boyfriend. It felt really inappropriate and unprofessional, especially in a food establishment. Even after she stopped, she just sat nearby scrolling on her phone while I stood waiting for help.
Thankfully, another young girl noticed and came over to help me, and she was great. The chocolates themselves were absolutely incredible--everything I hoped they would be.
That said, the overall experience left me feeling uncomfortable. I don't know if I'd return, which is a shame because the products were fantastic. But customer service and professionalism matter just as much to me, and unfortunately, that was lacking during this visit.
