Google
Great chocolate shop. Tons of chocolates from covered fruits and nuts to truffles, gelato and cakes. Drinks were delicious. The prices though are extremely high for the size and taste. $32 for 12 pieces, yikes. Definitely worth picking your own assortment versus the prepacked for the price, so you get exactly what you want. Was disappointing with the flavor of some, but the matcha was a stand out. Probably won't go again just because of the price, but worth trying if you're in the area and feel like splurging. Wishing Catherine's Chocolates in GB was still open. Quality and price was superior. Plenty of parking.

Stop by this place today. Getting cold outside and we decided to warm up. Nice place, very welcoming, could trying some dessert and tea. But chocolate really expensive. Even made there.

Google
Such a pretty little place. We bought 12 chocolates, 2 drinks, and 3 desserts. So pretty we don't even want to touch them. We will be coming back. The staff was nice and the environment gave good vibes. We come this way twice a month, we will be coming again. Great iced latte.

Google
Charming store. Various choices of swerts- cakes candies and drinks. Well set up seating. Cashier with long hair is extremely cold and exudes an unwelcome negative attitude. Clean bathrooms.

Google
Very cute cafe. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have so many choices, all kinds of chocolate and drinks. We only tried the mousse cakes, cappuccino and dark chocolate, both were absolutely delectable. The prices are steep but I dare say you do get what you pay for.

Google
The best chocolate shop in MA. The chocolate is delicious! A very large assortment of chocolates, and the cashier even offered to make me a gluten-free ice cream sandwich. The chocolate chip cookie was crispy but chewy too. The ice cream sandwich was really cold.

Google
Great coffee and small bites. We stopped. U after a tough hike. The cakes/ biscotti are fantastic.

Google
This is a delectable place and a must stop for all chocolate lovers. The cafe is cozy, has a great selection of food / drinks, and of course great chocolate. The staff is friendly and helpful with recommendations. The cafe also features work by various locoal artists. The chocolate is unique, tasty, and beautiful like art itself. There is a parking lot in front of the cafe and has handicap accessible parking as well.

Yelp
Chocolate Springs is a very special place. The owner is as fine a chocolatier as you will find anywhere in this country. His dedication to quality in his craft has not changed in all the years we've come here. We send boxes of his chocolate to friends around the country (and the world) to represent how good we have it here in the Berkshires. We could cite so many examples of his craft, but let's keep it simple. On a cold winter evening, when your fingers tingle like the stars twinkle, there is no greater joy than sitting down at Chocolate Springs and indulging in the best hot chocolate we have ever had anywhere! (works in other seasons as well)

Yelp
Sadly things have changed here. The dark chocolate does not appear to have the high cocoa content. I now has more of a fudge like taste. I noticed this on the marshmallows and the turtles. The caramel in the turtles had a burnt flavor.

Yelp
I miss this place SO much! The chocolate is so good. When I had family in the Berkshires, we all loved coming here. In the past I purchased brownies, hot chocolate, bars, individual pieces, chocolate with chunks, chocolate with dried fruit, chocolate with caramel, and for years I knew that this was the best chocolate place in town. I've had memories here with my grandparents, my parents, and my sister. Every day was a "cheat day" when I came by for some chocolate. There are also always people who are more than willing to help you out if you have any questions or if there's anything specific you're looking for. There are also seating options available for anyone who wants to kick back before heading on the road again. The chocolate here is the best in town and the best that I have had in a while. I would consider driving back up to Massachusetts just for a chocolate bar.

Yelp
I'm not someone who usually leaves reviews--even when I've had negative experiences--but I felt completely uncomfortable during my visit to Chocolate Springs and felt it needed to be shared. I came in after hearing amazing things from the hotel I'm staying at. They spoke so highly of the chocolates here, and I was genuinely excited to check it out. When I first walked in, I was greeted warmly by a very sweet young woman, which gave me a great first impression. Unfortunately, that changed quickly. I wanted to see their gelato options but couldn't even get a look because another employee was standing right in front of the case, kissing her boyfriend. It felt really inappropriate and unprofessional, especially in a food establishment. Even after she stopped, she just sat nearby scrolling on her phone while I stood waiting for help. Thankfully, another young girl noticed and came over to help me, and she was great. The chocolates themselves were absolutely incredible--everything I hoped they would be. That said, the overall experience left me feeling uncomfortable. I don't know if I'd return, which is a shame because the products were fantastic. But customer service and professionalism matter just as much to me, and unfortunately, that was lacking during this visit.

Yelp
A must place to go when you are in western mass if you love chocolate! They have all different variations of chocolate and beautiful gift boxes. The hot chocolate is to die for. They do have small tables if you need a break to sit down and catch up on the news.

Lauren S.

Yelp
The rich aroma when you walk in is just a hint of the richness of the chocolate in the mug!

Rebecca M.

Yelp
Amazing chocolates, beautiful shop and friendly people. Recommend to all my family visiting. They sell jewelry as well!
google avatar

Cheryl H.

Yelp
Chocolate Springs is a quiet beautiful setting to enjoy your favorite seasonal chocolate desserts and drinks.

Yelp
I was staying at the hotel across the street and needed to get some souvenirs. They have tons of chocolate treats to choose from including boxed chocolates, and chocolate covered sweets/nuts/savory items. I got two boxes of chocolates, milk chocolate covered pretzels, and chocolate covered almonds ($63 total). I only tried the pretzels as everything else were gifts but the chocolate was so creamy and great quality. The person helping me select my chocolates for the boxes was very nice and patient. The prices are high... we're in the Berkshires but it was a nice little splurge store while on vacation.

Yelp
We love to visit chocolate Springs to have the salted caramel truffle or salted caramel or their delicious ganache, brownie or flourless chocolate cake or rich hot chocolate!!
google avatar

Dan G.

Yelp
Top 5 cappuccino ever! Checked Yelp for a coffee place and this came up 1 mile away. Services was quick and they had a lot of chocolate as well. I had the cappuccino and some kind of chocolate/nut/fruit bar which was unbelievably tasty!! Very happy with what I bought even though it was a bit pricey at $18+.

Yelp
Best actual locally made chocolate and gelato in the Berkshires. We are always being greeted and help immediately. There is indoor seating as well as an outdoor space, under large shade trees with pond and artificial stream. Selection of chocolates and small cakes changes throughout the year. It's a must stop shop if you like gelato and/or chocolate.

Yelp
Quaint chocolatier - Nice comfy place to go for a treat or gelato after school or slopes

Yelp
There are plenty of places I can find a heavenly cup of excellent-made hot chocolate- but not many know how to make it. I was pointed to the right direction to come to Chocolate Springs in Lenox Commons on Pittsfield Rd in Lenox, MA. This is a piece of pure chocolate heaven and so glad I can scratch it off my list. Just so you know- every menu item contains a serious dose of cacao. Amen! On 4° weather, our Hot Chocolates got top marks for its thick- but not too thick consistency, creaminess and above all else, the fierce taste of the dark chocolate. Springs is an impressive and magical chocolate shop that serves a choc-centric menu with an awesome range of biscottis, mousse, pastries, cookies, tea and and high tables displaying even more goodies. And the Café part, has several tables if you want to sit and savor your sweets. For me a good hot chocolate is hard to come by- but when it's done well like in here, it's the most delicious thing you can put in your mouth.

Yelp
I worried it wouldn't live up to the hype- was pleasantly surprised that it did- and more. Chocolates and desserts were beautiful and flavorful. Treats purchased as gifts were very well received. Biggest surprise was how pleasant and kind the staff were. Lots of times in touristy places with a bit of hype the staff seems indifferent at best but here the staff seemed genuinely interested in helping and telling you about their products. Will happily return!!

Timothy M.

Yelp
Anything less than 5 stars is a crime. Places like this don't exist very often. The chocolate is amazing. I worked in the area, and people started asking me to get stuff for them. It's a small place, with cozy atmosphere. The staff are always friendly. The chocolate is designed artfully, and unique! Great place for gifts that no one else has, or can offer. One of a kind. Worth the drive. It's sad I don't work in the area or I would be there often. The taste is also one of a kind.

Susan D.

Yelp
The scent of chocolate confections envelops you as soon as you enter the inner door, as if unlocking the inner sanctum of deliciousness! As soon as we entered we were greeted warmly by Ni. He is absolutely the number one reason we keep returning to this chocolate oasis. He knows the products, recommends fabulous flavors, and is a kind and considerate host. Chocolate Springs Cafe is a perfect spot for happy Indulgence. Thank-you Ni, and all of the staff - each of you treats us wonderfully!

Yelp
chocolate are very fresh and delicious. i am not a fan of sweets but their chocolate still surprises me. def recommend go for the tons of choices of one bite chocolate. hot chocolate is also a good choice too. smooth and strong hot chocolate. few indoor seats.

Yelp
I can't stop thinking about the chocolate treasures I got at the chocolate spring cafe. Each bite or selection as good or better than the next. We had the: Signature dark chocolate with raspberry flavor Dark chocolate truffle Milk chocolate truffle Dark chocolate peanut butter cup Lilikoi passionfruit milk chocolate Milk chocolate hazelnut praline Run, don't walk to this quaint, cozy sweet shop.

Hannah G.

Yelp
This is an important stop for anyone who values chocolate. A wide range of dark and milk varieties with nuts, fruits, spices, in different shapes, sizes and packages. Great for gifts.
google avatar

Angela K.

Yelp
Chocolate Springs Cafe is a delectable chocolate confectionary with a wide range of treats! The brownie was probably one of the best I've ever had. The iced chocolate was refreshing and not sweet, so I'm glad I had the whipped cream with it. There is a great seating area outside in a garden with a pond and bridge. Chocolate Springs Cafe is definitely a place for gourmet chocolate and artisanal quality!
google avatar

Gary M.

Yelp
Really fresh offerings. A gift box full of beautifully decorated , and more important, delicious handmade chocolates is an impressive gift. I don't low if I could have a box next to me in my car and still have a full box when I was ready to present it as a gift. The shop in very comfortable and a great atmosphere to enjoy spectacular hot chocolate, cappuccino ,teas along with some great snack food. This was my first visit. I'm going back! Soon!

Yelp
It's a cute spot to buy different kinds of chocolate. Their cranberry scone was very good. However, I did not like their fudge cupcake. There was no fudge in it , no flavor and it was hard as a rock. Luckily, I had their hot chocolate to dunk my cupcake in it. Their serious hot chocolate was just okay. The toppings were good but once you got to the hot chocolate , it was bitter.

Mr. T.

Yelp
Homemade gelato made on-premises was delicious and almost tasted healthy! Conveniently located, and the staff was so nice.

Yelp
This is our second time here. Three years ago, we stopped here snd bought half of the store, lol. This time they don't allow sitting inside, but they have picnic tables outside. The chocolate is still the highest quality and the cappuccino good. We got few pieces got the road and enjoyed the white chocolate bar with yuzu. It was delicious!
google avatar

Sujoyee C.

Yelp
Honestly I am a little bit disappointed in the hot chocolate. We read raving reviews of the hot chocolate and went there but we didn't find it out of world or extraordinary, again could be just us. The service and the ambiance was fantastic and overall everybody was extremely nice. They have good variety of chocolates and a few ice cream flavors too. The place was packed to the brim when we went and we barely had any place to sit. It's a very cute small cafe and I'd recommend it for chocolates.
google avatar

Robert G.

Yelp
A must for any chocolate lovers. This shop was right across the street from my hotel and I was glad that they were open until 7pm because most places in the area close around 5pm. They have plenty of chocolate candies and desserts, it was hard to choose. Their chocolates are a great gift idea. They also have delicious coffee, I had their cinnamon maple latte.
google avatar

Yelp
Super friendly staff and delicious chocolates second time visiting the then while in the Berkshires

Yelp
Cute shop with LOTS of chocolate options! Terrific gelato, with interesting flavors.
google avatar

Yelp
Great place to grab a ganache hot chocolate and a chocolate cheesecake after a show at Tanglewood. Very clean decor, cozy, small shop.
google avatar

Crystal P.

Yelp
Our first stop in delicious chocolate treats. I loved my hot cocoa from here and my son has been loving his chocolate treats which were all in his stocking for Christmas. Cute little place we came here after dinner one night.
google avatar

Alex S.

Yelp
Stopped by here today after a day of snowboarding. The hot chocolate was the best I've had, you could tell it was Hand crafted and included shaved chocolate and homemade whipped cream for a good price! The two desserts we got, passion fruit chocolate mousse cake and cheesecake were so fresh. Incredible detail with little painted chocolates On top. Due to the pandemic they are doing online and phone orders only, and bring the order outside to you. The server spoke with us on the phone and walked us through the options because we had never been before. Great service, prevention, and they were super Covid safe.

Molly V.

Yelp
I went in there a few times and witnessed a girl who I assume to be a manager, being nasty with a younger girl working. It's uncomfortable and unprofessional.
google avatar

Kranthi M.

Yelp
Simply loved this place. The staff is extremely friendly and the ambience is very pleasant. Tried their raspberry chocolate cake - it was light and delicious. Their strawberry gelato was delicious too!
google avatar

Steph P.

Yelp
Wow, definitely go here guys! Fantastic chocolate that melts in your mouth, such a great selection and the staff is so sweet and helpful. Had an amazing brownie cookie from here with was so rich and intense. There is also a younger guy who works here who seems very passionate about what he does and who describes each piece of chocolate like it's a work of art. Make sure you stop here if you're in the area.
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome Gelato! My girls got some chocolate covered pretzels, can't wait to try them.
google avatar

JJ Z.

Yelp
Such a cute cafe! It is everything you need on a freezing snow day. The design gave off warm and welcoming vibes from the moment you walk in. Chocolates in all flavours, shapes and forms are gift wrapped, nicely arranged, and shelved in a beautiful way. My boyfriend and I ordered a hot chocolate and chai latte, along with chocolate assortments for some sweet afternoon snack. We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful environment and delicious food. They also offer gelato in the summertime. I mean... what more can you ask for?
google avatar

Julie L.

Yelp
During our vacation, my SO found this place and demanded that we stop by. I'm glad we did. So much so that we came back again the next day.
google avatar

Kathleen V.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places to go to escape Pittsfield and crazy people. I have enjoyed listening to the performers and as I play the piano myself and sing I relate to this well. However, the music stopped and I hope it returns because that's why I enjoyed it. It was peaceful and a place to go unwind for a few hours on weekends.
google avatar

Trace V.

Yelp
Maybe the best chocolate shop in the Berkshires (or anywhere?) Worth a trip if you aren't too far away and are CRAVING high quality chocolate goodies of all kinds. Expensive -- but you only live once right? Try the Gelato as well as it's on point. Relaxed atmosphere and some couches to melt into as you are diving into your goodies. Just keep the chocolate off the upholstery please.
google avatar

Courtney N.

Yelp
If you're craving chocolate then this is the place for you! Amazing selection of chocolate candy and other goodies. We actually felt a bit overwhelmed at the selection and all of the displays and hoped the woman working would offer some help but she seemed very disengaged. We probably would have purchased more if we'd had a little more personal service. Aside from chocolate, they also have cute stuffed animals (I grabbed a baby chick for an upcoming Easter gift) and even jewelry. I was interested in some of the earrings but nothing was priced. I noticed they also have drinks but didn't order one as I was finished and leaving when I saw the board. We ended up buying the baby chick (so cute) and then two chocolate items. The best was the caramel almond bark. Melt in your mouth good. We also got a dark chocolate bar with fruit and nuts. Also delicious. Things were a bit pricey but you expect that for the quality of the products and I wasn't disappointed at all with anything we purchased. We'll be back next time we're in the area!
google avatar

Diana G.

Yelp
The best hot chocolate that I have ever had anywhere in the world! (I have been fortunate to travel a lot!). Their handmade chocolates are also delightful, and their seasonal offerings are adorable as well as delicious. I feel fortunate to live nearby.

Chip C.

Yelp
Excellent hot chocolate! Helpful staff went above and beyond to explain the menu options. Will definitely visit again the next time I am in the area.

Susie H.

Yelp
Delicious chocolates and other desserts. Very special place! Their chocolates are the perfect gift to bring to dinner hosts.

Amy S.

Yelp
Their mousse cake was INCREDIBLE. Like best-I-have-ever-had incredible, and I love my mousse cakes. The layout is a bit funky. You're greeted by an eccentric mix of Japanese and Western decor -- which I loved. There's a display of chocolates, lots of tables with sweet goodies you can buy, and a cozy area with seating for you to enjoy a hot beverage and some dessert. My family and I split the cheesecake, flourless dark chocolate mousse cake, and cappuccino mousse cake. We devoured everything we ordered after seating ourselves in a cozy nook. The seating is a bit of a mix-and-match situation where you have an arrangement that consists of smaller tables with seats, sofas paired with coffee tables, and a big family-styled table where you can sit with others. If you're ever in town, get the cappuccino mousse cake! And then save one for me. :)
google avatar

Roger M.

Yelp
The term eye candy should have been cooked for this place. You can expect great special occasion chocolate with beautiful packaging. It is filled with the most amazing looking chocolate sensations that are locally made. It is hard to describe the delicacies that you see, but the pictures need to do the talking. Of course, you will be paying Lenox prices.
google avatar

Laura S.

Yelp
How. Cute. Is this. Place?! When I was looking for coffee places on yelp Chocolate Springs Cafe came up right across my hotel - the Marriott across the street. Anything with Chocolate in the name is good in my book. And yes I capitalize the word Chocolate. It deserves the recognition. Haha. So I'm probably biased because I love anything Chocolate. But this cafe is loaded with goodies. It's hard not to walk it with a few smaller seasonal treats for friends and family. Couches in the corner are inviting and there are plenty of seats. Staff seemed to want to be there and were engaging with customers. The decor is having an identity crisis with some Asian inspired stuff next to the Eiffel Tower figurine and art on the walls...but who is looking at that when there's a case of chocolates, cake, cookies, and gelato in front of you? I had a chai latte and a chocolate covered chocolate chip cookie. Holy alliteration. Anyways - the chocolate is actually really good, which I guess is the whole point of a chocolate shop. I'd definitely stop in again next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
Plenty parking. Cozy, adorable cafe w art on walls and great service. Lots of pre packaged chocolate treats ( pretzels, oreos , matzah, turtles), cakes, and of course individual chocolates at $1.75 each. Loved: 1. Serious hot chocolate w their homemade whip cream. 2. Chocolates- passionfruit (robust), hazelnut, rum, celebration (champagne cognac), jasmine

Yelp
Great interior. Wonderful selection of chocolate. Price is steep so I only came here once with a friend who loves here. We both had hot chocolate. Super rich. We loved their own made whipped cream so we both asked for more haha.
