Chocolates Ouro Preto

Great place to rest over coffee and light food!

Very limited choice of ice cream (maybe makes sense they only have chocolate?!). Plus at lunch time not all the salty snacks were available. Nice location, with a bit of French design inside.

Definitely not the best place to eat in the city. The coffee, food and desserts are mediocre, although they're served fast.

Bad experience. I ordered a lasagne but it had nothing to do with an actual lasagne. No bechamel sauce and just cold grated cheese on top. On top of that it was ice cold in the middle. They also spilled some coffee on my food without apologising. The service was bad as well. I was the only guest and there were there or four waiters standing around but nobody was serving me. I had to go to them to order. The place itself looks nice though. This could be a good place if they improve food quality and service.

I went there and wanted a cup of tea and some chocolate. First I get told ok then no they don't serve tea. So I pick a couple of chocolates to go. I then notice a picture of iced chocolate so I ask for one and I'm asked with cream or ice-cream. I ask for cream 20 minutes later they bring one with icecream so I say no I asked for cream they then take there time again and bring one with cream but it is so strong chocolate I can't drink it. I ask for more milk and get told no that is how the chocolate is. I then see them putting milk into someone's coffee Terrible service and a long wait to get what I didn't ask for

Microwave seems to be their best friend! Yet it still didn't do the trick, cold pasta and what did heat up was glued to the plate with the over heated cheese. My friends potato cake was frozen and they tried to save it with the microwave. My friends "sandwich" came out last after we had finished and regected our food. Service was shocking and they had no concern about anything. AVOID please. Save yourself the stomach ache.

Great service and excellent chocolate. If you're in the mood for something sweet come by.
