The 6 Best Native American–Owned Hotels in the U.S. - AFAR

"A large, Vegas-style resort owned and operated by the Choctaw Nation, this property features more than 1,000 rooms and suites, roughly 20 restaurants and bars, a full-service spa, and an expansive entertainment complex that includes a water park with family and adults-only pools (the latter featuring a tropical cabana swim-up bar), a 20-lane bowling alley, a six-screen movie theater, and dozens of arcade games. The resort also showcases an extensive art collection—over 6,000 pieces with 58 highlighted on a Choctaw Art Walk accessible via QR-code self-guided tours—and connects visitors to the tribe’s history through the nearby Choctaw Cultural Center, which presents immersive, tribe-centered exhibits, a living village, and children's programming." - Carrie Back

Rooms were nice with large restrooms. First and foremost.. I GET it's a casino, but it would be nice for the main entrance and check in desk to be in an area other than the main casino area where the smell of cigarettes smack you in the face as you walk in the main door. And if you have kids.. I would say it is cool they have things to do for kids (movie theater, arcade and bowling) in the non smoking area... but to get to that area you have walk through the smoking section.

Came for our 25th Anniversary. Stayed at the Sky Tower hotel this time. Beautiful decor, quiet room on 10th floor. Walk in shower and balcony over the pool. Casino had a large number of slots and tables, old and new. Busy in the evening, but many games available to play. Lots of great food places and a large arcade for kids with bowling, movies and carvel ice cream available to purchase. For us sports fans several locations to watch football games and all our food was great. Appreciated having Starbucks near the elevators, as I am not much for making my own coffee while on the road. A wonderful get away with slots that do pay out, so had fun winning! Easy drive up from Texas, right off of 75 so can't miss it. Fee Valet was nice! Can't wait to go back for another weekend.

This casino is an absolute disgrace — a complete rip-off. It’s bloody cheap and not even remotely worth your time or money. There are no real payouts, just endless collection of “ante” fees — $0.50 or $1 every single hand. They call it law or some kind of regulation, but that’s the biggest joke of all. That’s where they’re already raking in huge profits before anyone even gets a chance to play. If you’re a serious or professional gambler, especially in blackjack, do yourself a favor and stay far away. They’ve got barely a handful of tables running, and for baccarat — it’s even worse — you can’t touch the cards. Total buzzkill. And don’t even get me started on poker. It’s chaos, mismanaged, and feels rigged to drain your chips rather than give you a fair game. This entire place is a waste of time, money, and energy for anyone who actually knows how to play. They’ll even shut down the non-smoking section early, and when it’s near closing time, they’ll make sure you don’t win — suddenly the “luck” disappears because they want the tables cleared. Holiday events? Total disaster. Whether it’s Halloween, New Year’s, or any special weekend — nobody wins, everyone walks out broke and pissed. If you’re from Dallas and feel trapped because it’s the closest casino, just drive to Louisiana instead. It’s a longer 2–3 hour drive, but at least you’ll find real action, fair tables, and better atmosphere. This Durant casino sits right by the border and it’s a complete waste. Nobody tips the dealers because nobody ever wins. Even the dealers look miserable — they’ll tell you straight up they make $5–6 an hour, and that they only do better if you win… but that almost never happens. Bottom line: avoid this place at all costs

Omg the rooms are great! The entire hotel is amazing! It's kid friendly and many fun things to do with family. We had a great time and we only stayed 1 night. I really enjoyed the casino, that had all my favorite slot machine so I wasn't disappointed. The drinks was 👌🏾🫠, lol. So many bars throughout the casino and pool area. I really like the fact that they have a kid-friendly pool separate from the adult pool area. JUST GO VISIT, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Google
Pools are great, we tried out both unfortunatelynot long due to storms and time frame, but i did enjoy them! Rooms were nice one thing that was kinda annoying was a washer on spin cycle sound that would come on while taking a shower I figure its water heater or something but it did scare me the first time. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Buffet was good, price because a bit high but it is all you can eat. Many restaurants and bars, bowling (I did like you got one free game if you had pool pass), arcade, movies, and of course gambling I lose $15, played two machines about 5 minutes each but I dont have lots to spend and its not my thing. I would stay again during the week because weekend prices are expensive but weekdays are reasonable specially for like 2 days of pool time at a nice pool.

Impressive facilities marred by less-than-ideal execution. We came from OKC for a concert, and the hotel, surprisingly, did not seemed prepared for the event. We checked in and requested the tower nearest the venue (mobility issues explained) and our request was cheerfully ignored. The clerk explained we could take the shuttle back to the venue "which runs constantly and takes just a couple of minutes." That was false. We cued up 30 minutes in advance and fell into an angry scrum of fellow would-be travelers. There was no shuttle to be found. The valet supervisor sang her best rendition of the old administrative favorite: "It's Not My Problem, It's Not My Department." I did not sing along. We had to get our own car and go to the venue tower. There, met by huge traffic and no way to make the concert on time, my escalation to yet another valet supervisor finally had our car parked and us underway. The room was nearly $330 per night, but it included a view of the casino roof and attractive industrial HVAC units. We had to call maintenance to get our room under 75 degrees, despite it running at the posted 60 degrees for 4 hours. Really, folks, we spent $1,000 for a night in 'Vegas that was really nothing more than another Indian Casino. Save your money and stay elsewhere. The concert, however, was 5 stars.

Google
My wife and I love Choctaw Casino and Resort. The folks who manage this property really know what they are doing. We have been visiting the casino for many years now and it just keeps getting better. Love the slots, the restaurants, the room, the bed, the shower, the cleanliness.... I Honestly can't think of anything that I would complain about. Keep up the great work. Thank you!

I stayed at this property September 28 thru October 4 2025, Room 5102. I say in the middle of nowhere but only a couple of miles from Durant OK. I enjoyed the room and the stay. The casino is huge. Excellent variety of dining choices. Also enjoyed the exercise room several times.

Yelp
Everything was so good! The new renovation is so nice. The hotel rooms are very clean and it's quiet. I hate the smoke in the casino BUT hey it's all GOOD. We came here with friends and we've enjoyed the pool and the bar area. We recommend this kidless area for adults and everything was CLEAN and awesome staff.

Yelp
My family and I recently visited here. We were a large party of 20 people age ranges of 4-75. So there was something to do for everyone which was nice. Four of us stayed in the Sky Tower and the rest in the Spa Tower. The Sky Tower is the newly added hotel to the resort. The Sky Tower housed additional bars, restaurants, two pools (one being the kids pool), and Starbucks. The Sky Tower is a no smoking zone when gambling which I loved. The remaining areas in the resort smelled of smoke. There is ample amount of free parking or valet parking with a complimentary tip. Beware of parking on the end in the parking garage. There was a brand new black mustang parked in an end corner spot. It was a spot where the cars have to make a right turn to go up to the next row or level for parking. Either someone was drunk or cannot drive, but they ripped and crushed the front bumper of the car. The hotel staff were really nice, friendly, and helpful. There are several restrooms and beverage stations throughout the resort. The beverage stations had coke products and coffee 24/7 for guests to use. They have several restaurants such as Starbucks, Velvet Taco, Smash Burger, Papa John's, Cinnabon, Carvel Ice Cream, and Krispy Krunchy Chicken to name a few. To me the food prices were expensive especially for large parties like ours. We drove 10-11 mins up the road to eat at local fast food places for some meals. We did drive to Sherman which was about a 30 mins drive for dinner one night. As for family entertainment there is bowling, movie theater (w/a full concession stand), arcade room, and the pool. The pool is a very popular spot and families get there as soon as the pool opens each morning. There is also a gym on site if you wish to workout while on vacation. You cannot bring drinks or food to the pool w/ the exception of Starbucks. You can bring Starbucks to the pool. You can purchase food and drinks by the pool. Pool drinks (liquor) cannot be brought back inside. There is a worker who is monitoring and enforcing their rules at the door entrance/exit. Pool wrist bands must be worn and key cards must be scanned to access the pool areas. If you lose your pool wrist band it is $50 per replaced paper band. The movie theater is playing current movies and the seats recline. We stayed on the 9th floor and all rooms have mini fridges. You have to have a key card to access the floors which I loved. The rooms were somewhat clean. In our personal room the floors were not vacuumed/mopped, and the nightstand was dirty from the previous guests. The water in the restroom was lukewarm, but more so cold. We called twice to see if the issue could be fixed, but both men said, "the temperature couldn't be adjusted for safety reasons." So get ready to take a cold shower your entire stay if you're in the Sky Tower. The water in the Spa Tower and throughout the casino on that side were hot. The toilet seat was not cleaned well upon entering either our room. We had left uneaten food on the counter to eat later. However, the resort does not have a microwave for any guests to use. So do not bring leftovers back to the hotel if you wish to warm. They did not budge when asked several times even challenging them on, "how does staff warm food and could we use the staff microwaves?" Our leftover food and other items in the bags were thrown away instead of asking us if the items were trash. Housekeeping assumed the bags were trash, we were very upset at this mishap. She threw away our food, but forgot to empty one of our trash cans during her visit. If you need a wheel chair it is free to rent, but you must leave your drivers license with bell hop until the chair is returned. They also have motorized scooters to rent for $45 a day. I am assuming leaving your license is also the standard to rent those as well. It is first come first serve for the wheel chairs and scooters. Due to the pools strict restrictions, cold shower water, half cleaned rooms, expensive eateries, and no microwaves; I gave the resort a 3/5 stars. If you and your family would like a quick getaway if you live in Texas or Oklahoma, this is a nice place to go with family.

Yelp
Slots are insanely tight. Even high limit. Really nice looking and clean And plenty for family to do but if you want to win at slots this is not the place. Love how they have a non smoking side. The hotel Rooms are really nice but if slots is your jam, try elsewhere. I'll be back for the hotel Rooms for sure. Very clean!' The hotel service is worth staying here.

Yelp
It almost been two years since I have done an update on this casino. We tend to come here more than Winstar now and the main reason why is because we get rooms here on mainly any day. For some reason Winstar, we do not get any rooms now and tend to go here for a day trip. This casino is either a hit or a miss here, however I have the most jackpots here. I have hit a $9200 and a $5000 and a $4300 jackpot here. I also gotton wrecked here as well. I usually average around 5000 to 1000 points per day depending on my budget and how well I am doing here. They tend to update the machines no matter what sides you are on, old section, middle or newer side. I tend to spend equal time per each of the sides. The newer side is non-smoking which is nice. I play a mixture of bingo, high to medium volatile. I wish they did have the three reel machines and that is where you can find in Choctaw Grant. They do change the bingo games as the games that I used to play are not there anymore. If you need food credit, just go to the rewards center and ask. Does not hurt, they usually grant us and we even got $200 dollars for the steak house which I recommend you doing. We have eaten at almost every single place here, but the cowboy bar on the older side where you go dancing. This place does get crowded, but they have a lot of machines where you cash out unlike the casino in Grant where you have to wait quite some time. Do not forget getting your change ticket as I been guilty of missing these. I usually enjoy coming here for the weekend as I tend to walk the casino quite a bit and play and a good way to take a break.

Yelp
It's like a slice of Vegas/Reno Nevada, placed in a beautiful small town! A gem! Tons of slot machines, Bowling, Movie Theatre, food court, buffet, noodle bar, free soda and coffee at many locations throughout the property! Also a 4 diamond Resort & Spa! They also have an amazing outdoor pool with slides and cabana's!

Cason P.

Yelp
First off, that little "steakhouse" you have on the 2nd floor was not quite as good as a 500 dollar bill would suggest. Concert venue: Pretty solid. Casino: Rigged. Vibes: Immaculate.
google avatar

Nina H.

Yelp
The resort is beautiful but its service is nothing to write home about and the casino is beautiful but the machines are always so stingy! I mean every time I come here it's a super long walk to get to the machines I actually like or have even half a chance of winning on. The last thing I wanted to touch on is there isn't any live entertainment in the non smoking area like there is in the smoking area.

Yelp
Call this review "Great Stay Bad Play" Got a complimentary stay at Choctaw. Rm 21373. Room was good, the league restaurant good. Saw game 4 of world series. Service there was excellethisThis morning breakfast was great at Salt & Stone. Our server was excellent. Wish I can remember the staffs name's. The play at the casino. It was rough. I come here often and you know when the play is one sided. There was no give and take. Went through most of our playing money within the 1st hour and a half. Then found a few machines that were at best paying out $20 for the bonus. Best pay out was $28. But that was me buying the bonus round for $50. So it wasn't a wining payout. I'm sure the casino considers it a wining payout. Any way this was me and my wife's experience. We literally contemplated leaving last night but wanted to watch the World Series. Good times. Well hopefully on our next trip. Obviously not this one .

Yelp
Came here and won some money so I'm a happy man. They have a no. Smoking session that is well lit and offers all of the same games as in the smoking area. This is a first I've seen that. Just know for each hand/ game you play they do tax $1

Yelp
Came up for the day from N. Dallas to check out what all the advertising is all about. I'm not looking or anything spectacular from a casino and this is for SURE not the worst I've been to (here's looking at you Imperial Palace), but it sure has downsides. The food options are ROUGH, the arcade for kids is pretty limited and you can tell the games are set up to give low payouts. I know not everywhere is Vegas, but it for sure seemed to be off as someone who has spent more than an average amount of time in a casino. I wrote a specific review for Guy Fieri, but that's just one example of the food here being a joke. The buffet is VERY expensive for what I saw on peoples plates and the upscale restaurant here seems to have the pricing because it's chic. There's not a ton to write home about and I bet the pool here is great in the summer, but there's not much of a reason to come here except to lose money from stingy machines or terrible food.
google avatar

Sheilicha S.

Yelp
The machines here are definitely worse than any I've ever seen. This is coming from someone that resided in Sin City for a number of years. I know when machines are being tampered with regularly (by casino staffers). The service was very good don't get me wrong...this place was well kept and clean. However the profiters' (this casino) does know how to keep the monies from the players who are playing the games. I thought WinStar was a felonious gaming casino but this spot isn't somewhere I'll go back spending $$$$ that's for sure. Just to have received a players card and $10 (as a welcome 1st time member) was an absolute joke. I'm still in disbelief.

Yelp
This was my first concert at Choctaw Casino, and I would definitely come to see another artist here. Comfortable seating, reasonable drink prices minus the tube shots ($10). The acoustics were amazingly clear, and he sounded amazing. Taken 5.31.24

Yelp
Decided to try out the hotel and pool resort area for a long weekend with our kiddo and her friend (both 9 yrs old). Upon check in we realized that my husband had requested a king bed instead of 2 queen beds. Oops his mistake, and because of two concerts there Labor Day weekend they had no other rooms for us to move to. So we made the best of it and the girls made a pallet on the floor to sleep. We got settled in our room and headed out to check where everything was. They have an area with a food court, a bowling alley, an arcade and a movie theater for the kids/adults. Lots of restaurant options and of course bars. Definitely recommend for a close getaway or family weekend!
google avatar

Summer K.

Yelp
Choctaw has it going on! We use to go to WinStar all the time, but decided to give Choctaw a chance and we are so happy we did! They definitely won us over. If you play roulette, they do not make you play $5 dollar chips here. You can choose to play dollars if you would like! I think it's messed up that WinStar forces you to play $5 dollar chips on the table. It should be up to us. Vibe is more upbeat as well!

Christopher S.

Yelp
I've hit the onyx member rewards. The VIP host that I have will not get back to me I've asked 3 times to have a new host. Then I asked to talk to somebody higher, and I get told there's no one to talk to. There's no help in this casino. Whatsoever. Now they are telling me it can be up to a year before I get a new host sent me a invite to somthing and when I try to rsvp they say it is not for me why
google avatar

Karla O.

Yelp
I came to see Wonho in concert and it was great. Some technical difficulties but because his show was amazing he gets 5 starts. The casino was spacious with lots of places to see I would definitely be back.
google avatar

Kathy V.

Yelp
Choctaw multiple game machines, tables. They have hotels with outdoor pools. This casino is kid/child friendly. They have multiple restaurants within the place. A food court. A gaming place where the kids can play arcade games, bowling, etc. it's a great get away place even if it's just for the weekend. They have everything you need here!
google avatar

D R.

Yelp
Everyone was so friendly and helpful!! From Cheryl at check-in to Peter, one of the security guards, if you had a question they had the answer. The place is so big, be ready to walk. You have several places to eat inside the casino. We will definitely be coming back!!!

Yelp
Had to give a $200 cash deposit was told I would receive it back cash upon check out , checked out and was told I was going to get my deposit but then they took a while walking in and out of a back room and talking to one another and said it would be given back on my card on file . The whole reason I gave cash was to receive cash back. I haven't received my $200 . Demand your deposit back cash....i even asked if I was going to be given anything in writing stating that and they said no.

Yelp
It has been a bit since we stayed at Choctaw resort and we have been really disappointed in the hotel service. We arrived to a dirty room and tried to call downstairs but the call was never picked up. I eventually walked downstairs and the staff seemed put out, that I wanted to change rooms and very flippant. When I advised them I had been calling the front desk they said "oh our calls go directly to reservations". Which in my opinion is not very customer oriented for guest. We then asked for a late check out (12pm) and we were told to come back at 1130am the next day to ask. The main reason for wanting a late check out was to sleep in, so much for that. Seems silly to have to go downstairs at 1130am to ask for a noon check-out. The service is really lacking at this "resort" hotel. Maybe next time we will go to Winstar.
google avatar

Maricel E.

Yelp
Beautiful casino with amenities for children's. Came here for a Filipino concert and the production was spectacular. Their theater was huge and well organized. The food court and other restaurants are amazing. Get a player's club, they were giving freebies for first timer. Earn enough points for discounted rooms, and other coupons as well. Pretty cool casino bc they cater for adults & kids. Valet is free if you're active or veteran. Self parking is free for civilians. Alcoholic beverages are free while paying, just tip for waitress. We enjoyed ourselves!

K J.

Yelp
Went to Choctaw for brunch and a little gambling on Sunday after July 4th. I have to say this is the absolute worst buffet I have ever experienced at a casino. Two people cost 65.00. The food was terrible. There was no shrimp, no prime rib, no Pho, and mostly just fried foods. We usually go to Winstar for Sunday brunch and will never try this place again (no exaggeration). Winstar charges 45.00 for two people and there is no comparison between the two places.
google avatar

Becky Shellenberger E.

Yelp
Machines are too tight. Rather go to Winstar at least u can play for hrs. If machine is broke takes forever for someone that works there to come check the machine
google avatar

Katy R.

Yelp
Beautiful big casino. I actually stayed here for a work trip vs the usual fun trip to gamble. We were excited to try the 1832 and it did not disappoint. We decided to splurge a bit on a nice bottle of wine and our first pick was out of stock so the manager came by with a new suggestion which was exceptional and gave us a free charcuterie board to go with it which was a really nice offering. We shared a main entree, side, dessert and that wine and left full and happy. Our waitress was spot on the whole time and made our dinner comfortable and enjoyable. Our rooms were beautiful and I slept very well. Casino has a massive amount of games both smoking and non sections, bars everywhere and something for everyone.
google avatar

Katie H.

Yelp
Do better Choctaw! 10pm is cut off for in room dining in a CASINO?? Are you joking?!? Ok, fine, we will go back down and get food to bring up but you also can't even order over the phone and then go get it?? Nope! You have to go back downstairs, walk a mile and then order and wait 45 minutes to get it to go and bring it back to your room so it's cold and gross. Completely ridiculous!! Just go to Winstar.... same games, same rooms, same cleanliness, same service and THEY have in room dining 24 hours, so when you gamble and spend money until 2am, you can order food like any other casino in the world....

Jennafer C.

Yelp
Booked hotel room 3201 in the Spa Tower. The bed was horrible. My husband and I ended up in a pit in the middle of the bed. Did not get any sleep, and ended up leaving before 6am.
google avatar

Kay K.

Yelp
This rating is for the theatre... if I could leave 0 I would... Saw Manson here, staff ran out of wrist bands, lady said we could get more before pit, we waited probably an hour before getting let in so they had PLENTY of time to get more wrist bands.. we get to the pit and lady had absolutely NO CLUE what she was doing and wouldn't let us in even though we showed our tickets... .... so due to the staffs ERROR we got cheated out of 20 people in the ga area... DO BETTER... this pissed several people off.. absolutely infuriating. Thanks for NOTHING!!!!!

Sandra O.

Yelp
We visited for the weekend and were disappointed in the services. We arrived Friday afternoon and left Sunday at check out time. During that time we spent time at the resort pool which was very pricy for food and drinks and people are correct the slots are very tight. Our room never got cleaned or restocked during our time there. We placed the used towels on the shower floor thinking that housekeeping would replace them on Saturday during the day. Unfortunately when we arrived back to the room Saturday evening to get ready for dinner, no services had been provided. We had to go to the lobby on Sunday morning to buy coffee and water that should have been restocked on Saturday. We felt like for what we paid for the room for 2 nights a lot of attention to details were overlooked. We do not plan on visiting again.
google avatar

Mystery S.

Yelp
Went to go see a concert, enjoyed the smaller venue and intimate atmosphere. Entry was fairly easy, appreciated that. Overall casino has everything you'd want, lots of game options and different sections. Would love to see complimentary drinks for gamblers but that's a personal preference. Came home up $300 or so, win win. Appreciated the free parking as well!

Angel E.

Yelp
The smoke problem in this place is beyond bad..like walking through tear gas. My eyes were burning and I was sweating, could not catch my breath. Never again. The food and service is total crap, bored bartender in high limit area would not leave me in peace, stood in front of my machine and ran her mouth for a half an hour. We pass on going back, not worth the drive.
google avatar

RIZA L.

Yelp
This is the second time i have been to this place. We played for a few hours at the slot machine and since we had kids with us , I took them to the non smoking part of the casino which had an arcade and bowling area. I like the fact that there were several fast foods and restaurants to choose from. We also tried the buffet place which i was so pleased with. There was not a very big selection of food but more than enough that you wont be able to try everything. They had american food, chinese and vietnamese menu. There was good brisket and prime rib and shrimps , oyster and crab legs . The people were friendly and service was fast. I just fine the rooms too pricey .
google avatar

Laura C.

Yelp
We love going to the non smoking Sky Casino and frequently stay the weekend. The past few times have been getting increasingly disappointing. People are vaping in the non smoking casino now. Also people are bringing babies and little kids that are hanging around the machines watching parents gamble. Employees are walking past not addressing it. Please fix these issues and hire more security!

Yelp
This Casino was only an hour away from.our hotel in Texas. It is located in Oklahoma. The casino was nice and big. A little busy even in the high roller slots. It was clean and had many machines. We were a little bummed that there was no crap table open as we went there to play craps and machines. We had fun although only 1 of 6 of us came out a winner. It was a great expenerince and lots of fun!

Jamar Lamont W.

Yelp
Horrible Place! Currently waiting for the third hour for my car in valet. They are saying an IT issue has the keys locked up. Over the last 3 hours not one manager has stopped by to apologize, they have not offered free water. As an Onyx member I have never seen such horrible service. Never returning to this place.
google avatar

David H.

Yelp
This review is for the 1832 Steakhouse. The food is all very subpar with high end steakhouse prices. The steak is not good, crab cake disgusting. The salad-yuck! All our cocktails were $30 each. Totally awful experience and I didn't even pay for dinner. The fast food is so much better and I hate fast food!

Robert D.

Yelp
Oklahoma State Taxes Received a couple of letters from the Oklahoma Tax Commision (OTC) for back taxes for 2018 and 2019. Thinking visitors need to be informed up front of the Oklahoma Tax requirements. Filed the 2019 OK tax return. CPA working on the 2018 return. Bottom line here is it looks like I need to pay back taxes as a non-resident on W-2Gs issued by Choctaw Casinos. Appears, Oklahoma only allows $17,000 in itemized deductions. So, even though I didn't have a net win in 2018 or 2019 I still need to pay about 8% to 10% of my Oklahoma winnings in taxes. This is a shock to me. Discussed with my CPA. Apparently, the OTC is sending out letters to everyone for back taxes. OTC wants the back taxes even to the point of taking land from people. It's one thing to go to the Casino and gamble. Dealing with house odds and Federal tax headaches. It's a whole new level of paying state taxes on money I really didn't "win". Holding off on visiting Oklahoma Casinos until this is all sorted out. I personally WOULD NOT recommend anyone go to an Oklahoma Casino and play big. Small maybe. $1 or less machines. Not worth it to risk winning the modest handpays the machines pay. Go to a show. Eat. Go swimming. Would expect Oklahoma to withhold state tax when the W-2G is issued like Louisiana does. At least you know to file taxes in Oklahoma. There should disclaimers regarding handpays that Oklahoma Taxes should be filed on winnings that generate a handpay. Late fees and interest has caused my tax bill to Oklahoma double for tax year 2019. Adding to the confusion, some W-2G forms do not list Oklahoma tax on the form...especially at Choctaw Grant. Blocks are blank on the forms. According to my CPA and the OTC, taxes are still due even if these blocks are blank.

Yelp
Great stay, easy process booking from home & checked in from my phone.. they had our room ready at 1 which was great. Clean and updated. We stayed in the sky tower and had good service from the pool bar to the Starbucks, essentials shop. Etc. Everyone is nice! They have arcade, movies, bowling, everything for a whole family and in case of bad weather. Thursday they kicked everyone out of the pools due to a "hurricane"/weather but never rained and didn't re open. No compensation for guests. Also it's FREEZING inside, casino to food hall etc. it's ridiculously cold so bundle up in layers even in the summer. Also, the seats in the theatre are old school so littles may struggle to keep seat down if they're light lol other than those 2 things we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it!

Yelp
Check in: This place is huge! Upon our arrival, the mobile check-in wasn't even working and we wanted to change the card and the gentleman stated that he changed the card but he did not. When we get to our room, we notice that we are about a half a mile away from the new casino and the newly renovated pool. Room: The rooms have a sliding door on the bathroom with no lock so if you are sharing the room with others or your children, there is no sense of privacy. After walking a half mile from the pool back to our room to change we get into our room and the AC that we had put on 65 was up to 74°. We called the front desk and told them that our AC was not working and they informed us that it has a motion sensor on it and shuts off when no one is in the room. We then ask the lady if she can move us to the tower closer to the pool and she was very kind and she found us a room. when we went to the front desk to change the room, this is where we were informed that our card had never been changed and then she said in order to change it we would just have to start a new reservation on the new card and that the other card would be reimbursed in 3 to 5 business days, so now that we're in the new tower closer to the pool we still have to walk a distance to get to the district where the food is the bowling alley the movie theater and the arcade which was fine. Just know that this place is huge. Casino: The old casino is very smoky and seems a little dirtier, but that's where all of the district is the bowling is and the majority of the restaurants that are affordable. The new casino meets the old casino and it is a much better air quality and you can definitely feel the difference in your lungs, but it is very clean and is a ginormous casino going from one tower to the other. there is no free drinks in the casino you have to pay for every drink. We ended up going to the liquor store down the street and buying a bottle and then just filling up a Stanley cup with that liquor and then filling up Styrofoam cups at their beverage stations, which are free and mixing it with some sprite to save some money. You literally have to pay for everything here. There's no free amenities here you have to pay for all of your food every drink that you buy, bowling, the movies. Nothing seems to be complementary here. I read a lot of reviews about the rude customers and I'll say that that's 50-50 if you come across some pretty rude people and then there are some others that are very helpful. Food: We enjoyed the food court so the kids could get their choice of food and we ate at the velvet taco which is a 10 out of 10 recommended I got the chicken and waffle taco and it was phenomenal. We also ate at the Gillies and the food was really good. No one complained about it. I tried the chicken sandwich without barbecue sauce and it was definitely very good. We also tried the noodle bar which has big portions.

Yelp
Hubby and I were pleasant surprised by Choctaw. We especially loved the entire non-smoking casino in the back that made gaming enjoyable. Short drive up from the DFW Metroplex. Plenty of parking including a garage. Would love to attend a concert and stay overnight.

Yelp
We had a mini family reunion at the Choctaw Casino. For the most part, we enjoyed our stay here and it met our needs. The casino is extremely clean and open. I like that the slot machines are not unpleasantly loud. The decor is very appealing. Most of us didn't do much gambling. We had cocktails, dinner, and visited. The rooms are large and clean and the beds are comfortable. The building is extremely large and difficult for seniors to get around in, but they have plenty of wheelchairs for no charge and motorized scooters at a reasonable price. They also have valet parking and a shuttle service from one end of the building to the other. The only complaint I have is that it took over an hour to get checked in. I'm not sure what the problem was. One cousin ended up with 3 rooms charged to her card. We noticed the drinks were extremely weak, so we switched mixed drinks to martinis. I'm posting a photo of my bourbon and soda. We didn't like drinking martinis from plastic glasses and were happy when we found The Reserve, a martini bar that makes fabulous martinis with ice floating on the top, served in beautiful martini glasses. Overall, I was pleased with the Choctaw Casinos. I think the others in our group had fun, too. I am hoping we come back next year.

Yelp
We stayed in the south tower. We had a room with a balcony. The desk clerk was friendly when we checked in and made sure we got a room that best fit our needs. The room was clean and everything worked properly. The casino slot machines were clean and the cashiers were friendly. Hopefully next time we visit it's on a sunny day so we can get drinks by the pool.

Yelp
I live in Dallas and we booked a stay at Choctaw Casino for a girls birthday weekend getaway. Overall we enjoyed a quick trip, but we will never book a stay here. There was a few good experiences, however too many bad one's to keep us away. Parking: There is no signs to the difference valet or self parking options. We stayed at the new Sky Tower which was the opposite direction from the Valet parking we were encouraged to utilize. Check in: The staff was not greeting each guest, it was as if we were at a fast food line and treated as if we were a burden opting to check in with a human instead of utilizing the mobile check in option. As a side note, I did do the mobile check in but still had to pick up keys and wristbands for the pool, so there really is no benefit to mobile check in. Room: The is one of the few positives of our stay The room was clean and supplied with sufficient towels, soap and shampoo for our weekend stay. The Sky Tower rooms have a vast upgraded feel in comparison to the main casino especially since there is no smoking allowed. The beds were comfortable but the pillows are rock hard. The lighting in our bathroom would randomly stop working which was such an inconvenient. Spa: We were traveling with a group of 4 and called in advance for a spa day pass. I was advised that I could not pay for a day pass over the phone and would only be allowed to purchase after checkin. Once we got to spa they stated they were completely booked and would call if anything became available. We asked if any other services available and was declined to purchase two facials and two day passes. We went to the front desk to request if they were able to make an exception as we specifically stayed at this Casino for the spa. The manager stated the hotel is completely separate from the spa and they have no ability to make accommodations. We spent time in the pool and stopped by again around 4pm and was advised in a rude tone day passes were not sold on weekends from another employee. The spa staff was also rude when we tried to book any other service. Pool: I will give credit to the architect behind the pool design as you are immediately transported to a resort style vibe in the pool grounds. That is immediately when the resort ends. Upon entrance you are provided towels which they practically throw at you with no greeting what so ever. We inquired on a cabaña and no one had a clue who to ask. When we saw drinks were being served pool side we asked a waitress if we could order from her and never saw her again. The drinks at the bar were extremely watered down and our frozen margaritas were practically water when we received them. There were quite a few customers who should have had security checked on before they feel a few times in and out of pool. The Dj was good the weekend we came however DJ ended at 6 and pool was closed at 8 so they encouraged everyone to be cleared before the pool closed. Restaurants: There is a good selection of food options and our waiteress at Guy Fieri's restaurant who provided us complimentary birthday cake and we enjoyed the live band. The bakery on the other had horrible customer service and was angry when I ordered an item on the menu (coconut cream pie) they did not have. Their cookies were served cold and when we asked if they could be warmed, the response given was they don't have an oven at the counter. A simple no could have sufficed. Casino: There is no beverage services provided on the casino floor and the main casino is flooded with smoke smell it is almost unbearable. They encourage to use a play card but they are only offered on one section of the casino. Overall the concept of a casino and resort so close to Dallas is nice, however the service needs a major upgrade.

Yelp
Walking into this place was breathtaking. It's so HUGE!!! I would have taken pictures of the inside but I left my phone in my room. There are plenty of choices of food and casino games to gamble on. There is huge arcade room for kids and a Waterpark, which I didn't even get to see. I can say with certainty that I will be back and take more pictures to show.

Yelp
The newly renovated Choctaw is a great resort and stay for any type of getaway. -The new Sky tower rooms are clean, modern, and well maintained. -Their smoke free section is one of the largest I've ever seen allowing for ample gaming space. -Most casinos have concerts, but Choctaw has a lot of activities like their spa and some family friendly activities like the bowling alley, arcade, and movie theater. -There's plenty of bars with distinct vibes. The League for sports enthusiasts and craft beer, Gilley's for country music and dancing, and a host of bars and lounges for cocktails and a more relaxed vibe. -The food is okay. There's a lot of options from fine dining, to sleek restaurants, and several casual options. There's more than one Starbucks. -Hotel guests get a lot of perks like free valet. Unfortunately I can't comment on the outdoor pool or any live shows, but the indoor pool for hotel guests is nice. Overall, I enjoyed myself at Choctaw.

Yelp
Pro Tip: get the 1 hour massage, and enjoy the spa for hours! Get your workout on, and enjoy the tranquility of the resting waters. You can steam, and spa, and shower... then get your massage. Excellent spot and worth the trip within itself. Then go gamble. Lots of tables, spread out throughout the casino... and 1/2 the casino is non-smoking. Plus, this place PAYS! Walked out $1000+ heavy! Paid for my rooms, trip, gas, vegan food the buffet, and a massage...which altered what I was going to write! LOL! BTW, this place is Vegan Friendly!! They have tofu stir-fry, green bean stir-fry, and vegetarian lasagna which is really good at Beanfields! Who knew! 5 STARS from my experience!

Yelp
Saw the Red Clay Strays (excellent show), ate some really delicious noodles at the Bamboo Noodle Bar, they gave us corner suite on the 12th floor and it was pretty great with an amazing view of the sky. Also won in the Casino. Really great overnight getaway. Will go back for sure. :)
