Choice Bros Ghuznee Street

A surprising venue tucked away down a private entrance. Small but well formed. Had a lovely chat with the brewer. Their choice of favourite (Crystal Vision IPA) really hit the spot!

Great taproom tucked away on Ghuznee Street. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is great. I often come with a group for the $2 chicken wings on Thursdays and it's always a good time. Wish they had more flavours for the wings as they are such great value!

Chicken wings here are incredible! We also had the vegan burger and the wagyu burger, both delicious and well balanced. Buns were a touch on the crispy side, but having a look this seems like a one off. Still, the burgers were awesome. The Space Cowboy tap beer was GREAT 100% would order again. Atmosphere is nice and tucked away, warm on a cold night, and staff are lovely

Went for a beer and a burger before a concert. Bacon beef burger was amazing and the waffle fries are a must, yum! Choice bros beer is great, and a lot of options.

We had wagyu burger and fried chicken along with a couple of beers. The burger was amazing and fried chicken was fresh. My husband enjoyed the craft beers. The staff were very friendly. All in all great experience 🙂

Tucked away off the main street. Great place for chicken wings and craft beer! All the tap beers are brewed in house which is great.

Great atmosphere and beer (making their own). The staff were also very friendly, happy to dish out tasters when trying to make a decision. Also knew what was on tap.

Meeting a local friend on a recent trip, his suggestion was to meet here first. I'm thankful we did! Husk is a cool little place down a hallway off Ghuznee Street; the twinkle lights and colors invite you in, but you can't see what it's really like until you're closer. They have outdoor seating with plenty of light and heaters for cold weather. Inside it's cozy with a handful of tables, bar seating, and a large area devoted to the brewery. Choice Bros. Brewing makes their beers here; this is their sole facility and taproom. The staff was friendly from the get-go. They have a lot of choices on tap, and happily do tasting flights. I just loved the purple glow lights around the brew kettles, made for a nice evening backdrop long after the brewers had finished for the day. I tried four diverse styles and loved them all. I only wish I had had food! For any beer lover in Wellington, this is a must-stop!

If not local bring your passport. I've never had this happen before in NZ but turn 30 next week and my husband and I were denied service. Was suggested we walk back to our hotel and grab our passports, even though we had brought other ID. Very strange. We did not return.

Great craft beer, cool and funky interior and the food was delish. One of the best gnocchi I've ever had. Yumm.. thanks Husk!

Love love love this place. Was recommended to come here and so glad I did. Food wine and beer list is great. Beervana and Welly on a Plate made it even better!!

Husk is an amazing, quaint bar/restaurant that we go to regularly. Kindrit, one of the managers, is incredibly helpful and goes out of his way to make you feel at home. If you haven't been to Husk yet, we definitely recommend it. Great beer, great service (Kindrit is the man) and great food (especially the southern fried chicken!) You'll definitely have a good night here :)
