I love this place, the food is delicious and it's just really cozy overall! On the 26th of December they had the special Christmas menu which we somehow missed when we booked, so it ended up being a several-course meal which was more expensive than our usual orders, but still absolutely worth the price because the food was great. We also got a Christmas present at the end: a bag with Korean sweets to take home which was really cute. Definitely recommend this place!

Amazing food, great service. The price to quality ration is awesome. Been here three times, every time I leave happy and satisfied.

Very good restaurant where i could find a lot of Korean dishes that I could not in another city! It looks authentic ! What im disappointed, it's the dessert, there are not many proposition unfortunately 😔 but I would go back to try other dishes ! Don't miss on the Korean Pancake (Kimchi Pajeon)

The (only) Korean restaurant in Hannover that i know. The foods are nice and original. One tip: you should try Kimchi pancake (Kimchi Dschon) :) They also have the barbecue and hotpot menus. The minus point is the restaurant doesn’t have barbecue exhaust hood system (Dunstabzughaube) installed. Also they don’t give many side dishes like before :( But overall it’s a really nice restaurant with a nice service.

It was a really nice experience but next time we would rather order something else than a hot pot even though it was really good anyways. We can just recommend this place and especially the fried chicken!!!

They were super friendly and served us faster because we had to leave in time. We had the normal bibimbap and the vegetarian version. Both were very delicious. Additionally they served us side dishes and a snack for free. Bibimbap was around 14€ and a large drink was about 4€

Update: March 2, 2024 I visited Chois again after a disappointing first experience. This time, the side-dishes tasted rich and authentic. We ordered the bibimbap, ohsambulgogi, and yangnyeom chicken. The bibimbap was delicious and kept to the original flavours. The ohsambulgogi was also okay but altered for local tastes, and the yangnyeom chicken reminded me of my childhood. All in all, a great second experience! The atmosphere was very nice, and I agree that everything looked quite authentic. I appreciated the variety of different side dishes. I ordered the sundubujjigae (soft tofu, seaweed soup) and the yangnyum chicken (spicy fried chicken). Unfortunately, I was really disappointed by the inauthentic tastes of the dishes. The fried chicken had too much breading, and the soup tasted as though some tofu and seafood mix had been chucked into a very salty kimchi stew. To top things off, the quintessential egg in the soup was missing. I left most of my food untouched, and the serving staff did not look surprised (as I am Korean). I really hope my meal was an anomaly because I would hate to know that the rich flavours of Korean food are being presented in this way.
