Choisy Boulangerie-Patisserie (Gustavia)

This place is phenomenal. Easily the best food stop of the trip. I don't even know what to recommend, it's all wonderful. Service, professional and at counter. Atmosphere, side walk.

In an island that a cheeseburger would easily cost you €45, this bakery is really like “heaven in hell” when 2 pieces of flaky and buttery danish and a cup of cappuccino costed a mere €12.70. Excellent baked goodies.

We had coffee and pastries here every morning in St. Barthélemy. Everything we tried was beautiful and delicious. We tried two locations, one in Gustavia and the other near Nikki Beach. Both were incredible. You'll see locals and tourists, really great vibe. The croissants are perfection are the Pain aux raisins.

Whether you’re in for a quick espresso and pastry or grabbing items to go, everything is consistently excellent. Service was friendly and efficient, even during the busy hours. It’s clear why this place is a local favorite. Boulangerie Choisy is a must-visit if you’re in St. Barts and looking for authentic French pastries and top-tier baked goods.

Classic French bakery 🥐 Great selection of baked goods. Sitting outside is preferred if you want to do a little people watching.

I got a mini beignet and a croissant. I devoured it before even taking a picture… how shameful of me. It was so so good! Update: easily the the best choice. I went back on Sunday at 7:30a. You must go VERY EARLY TO HAVE THE BEST SELECTION. The pastries are warm and light. The croissant I had was flaky light and absolutely wonderful.

This spot is special to me. Not crowded, but crowded enough to learn the culture and vibe of the French. I’m humbled by the help I’m given for ordering in terrible French. Start the day with a hot croissant and a Americano cafe’

Try the mille feuille - lovely pastry (crumbly and flavorful) and perfectly sweet icing. Another had the apple muffin; it was “10/10, would devour again.”
