Perfect hotel for location, price, breakfast and staff. We loved it here, staff were friendly and wished you good morning each day with a freshly cooked breakfast to your liking. Some may turn their noses up at the painted concrete walls, but we thought location and price were perfect. Also some noises from the temples in the morning but you are situated in the heart of historic Chiang Mai surrounded by hundreds of temples. It is a truly enchanting city. We can't wait to go back.

In overall we liked this hotel as its quiet place st night. However, the service needs to improve lots such as the bed and pillows, they swipe the floor in an early morning ( disturb of peacefulness sleeping hours) breakfast is so limited and staff is not quite informative when asking any suggestions )||But we chose this hotel because of the location and easy to go old downtown!!!! Nice decoration and beautiful house set up!!! We love Chiangmai :-)

Beautiful Villa in a lovely garden setting only a minute walk to the famous Sunday night walking market. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Everything was spotless, very comfortable bed and sofa, huge breakfast daily and a great restaurant. Unfortunately the walls are very thin/gaps as we could hear our "Asian" neighbour's in their bathroom from our sofa. Lucky our earplugs muffled the noise of their 11pm, 3am and 6am conversations/shouting... thankfully it was for only 1 night, the next 2 were very pleasant and tranquil :)

We took the sleeper train from Bangkok and arrived too early for Check In. We got breakfast at the hotel and it was quite good. Fresh juice and milk in bottles was served first then fruits then the main breakfast. We arranged for a Motor Rental with the reception and in a few minutes the Motor arrived. Rental is Baht 250 for 24 hours. After breakfast we went to our destination and came back around 1pm.||The Receptionist assisted us with our bags and brought us to the Villa. It was a beautiful Villa! It was spacious and had a beautiful terrace. I really loved it. My only problem with the Villa was the lack of power outlets and at night it was rather dark but it was really no problem. Someone mentioned about mosquitoes. In the kind of setting of the Chompor Lanna..those are inevitable so so they put mosquitoe repellent. I did not find a lot of Mosquitoes in the room.||I will stay in the Villa again if i go back to Chiang Mai.||Servive was good too. The waiters though had some problem understanding basic english. ||The Location of the Hotel is inside the Old Town and near the night market.

Stayed in both the cheaper and nicer rooms, with mixed experience. Service level was lacking, but got the job done. The deluxe rooms are nice but lacking in natural lights, and AC too weak to cool down the rooms. Breakfast tasty enough but small, and staff show little to no flexibility on various small things, leaving us with a less than great feeling. Environment is nice though with lots of greenery, but again, more potential (with some work put in to it) than current reality.

I chose this hotel on the location, price and general reviews being positive. Not sure if I booked a more basic room (said superior) but we were in the main hotel building in a section were they used other rooms as storage etc and it had no views as basically almost sub basement and yard area - so kept the curtains closed.||Room was clean enough and the staff and breakfast were great. Most of the area looked like it needed waking up - maybe we where there in low season but outside space seemed mothballed. I'm sure I read it had a pool (and the book in the lobby confirmed this as a facility but they don't)||So in summary good base, slept ok except when the monks did the early morning chanting as my window backed into their temple. Make sure you have the outside rooms, not sure they are better only guessing.

This is a very well located hotel in the middle of the old town in Chiang Mai. The room was very spacious and comfortable. the shower was not working properly though. Breakfast was a little limited in terms of options but the food was good.

Stayed here 3 years ago and seems that it’s been renovated mixing Thai traditional style with a modern touch. Really nice value for money in the heart of Chiang Mai, hidden in between quiet alleys and surrounded by a lush tropical garden.
