Chon Thai Food

As avid thai food lovers, my partner and I came here for our anniversary. We ordered boba tea, spring rolls, yellow curry and the veggie delight, both with fried tofu. When the boba came out, the tapioca was poor quality and toothy. Definitely unlike anything we've had. Not a desireable texture for boba tea. The spring rolls arrived and the outside was burnt, some how not hot, but the center was cold. We sent them back after talking to the server. She didn't charge us and she sent out another order. The 2nd was warmer, but not much better. Our dishes came out. The mild yellow curry was bland. My partner describes it as one dimensional. The veggie delight was similar. The sauce and tofu weren't appetizing and I ended up just picking at it. We decided to leave early and take the food with us to not cause a scene. When we were presented the bill, I noticed the percentages did not match up. "18%" was actually 20.25%, "20%" was 22.5%, and "25%" is a whopping 28.1%! Patron beware, as they might trick you into tipping much more than what you expect! Very shady practice.

Best Thai food restaurant anywhere in the valley. They’re crispy garlic chicken is to die for and will need you craving more. The waitress is amazing and always remembers our order. 10 out of 10 would recommend.!

Omg this was good. We ordered the crispy garlic chicken with the crispy basil, to die for! We also had the lettuce wraps and pad Thai with beef. Prices are very fair for the huge portion sizes! Can't wait to return and try everything on the menu! Yum!

I used to order this place all the time, but after the new owners it’s continued to do down hill.. this is the third time my pad Thai noodles were undercooked which I truly don’t understand it’s one of the easiest dishes to make. I thought the first couple times was maybe a fluke or maybe they were just too busy but 3 times? Come on now, guess I’ll be on the hunt for a new favorite Thai place.

I left with a satisfied palate and a newfound appreciation for the intricacies of Thai cuisine.

One of the best red curry I have ever had. It had perfect balance of spiciness and warmth of coconut milk. Dragon noodles was great too with perfect smoky flavor. Great ambience and server was very friendly. Would highly recommend. They added extra fees for non-cash payment (credit card processing fees). They should write that on check/receipt.

Great food , short wait for to go and cool atmosphere! It is definitely a place I would return . When you order , they ask you the level of spice you want and they also have some info on the wall by the register. I feel like it's different than other Thai food I was getting , a little better .

This is a wonderfully relaxed place where they want you to have a great time and treat you like family! The food was amazing and we went at lunch time and it was definitely made to order and came out very quickly! They have lunch specials so it would definitely work for somebody taking their lunch break. They gave us the biggest pops I've ever seen!
