Chong Qing Hot Pot Hang Tuah

finally get to try this hot pot place that i always pass by on my way to work, it was located on the second floor of a small building. the place is small but still very comfy for you to had intimate or private quite lunch. the meal was amazing there we get to choose our own personal hot pot each person, the meat quality there was also amazing! i had the creamy mala broth, it was sooo good the perfect balance of creamy and spicy for the mala. the service there is also very excellent! the person at the cashier had a conversation with us asking how our experiences here as it was our first time trying chong qing hot pot, would really love to come back here 🤩❤️

wonderful ambience and the staff were so friendly! the chicken broth was very flavourful and hearty. signature beef was fresh and tender. i particularly liked the beef wrapped around enoki mushrooms. the mango ice was very delicious as well.

The food was good, but the service needs significant improvement. Despite having a reservation, we still had to wait, and the staff’s attitude when leading us to the table felt rushed rather than welcoming. We were also given the wrong order without any apology. Our table was not fully prepared (no utensils or table mat), and we had to ask a couple times for an apron. Only one or two staff members were polite. The atmosphere was okay, but the room felt quite hot, which made eating hot soup uncomfortable. I prefer the Senopati branch, both the service and atmosphere here were much much better.

It’s on the upstairs area. The service is excellent and very good. We chose the soup w/o mala spice. The meat and vegetables are fresh. Nothing is wrong with the meals. There’s also a closed area (VIP ?) for a group (not sure for how many but 6 people can go on that room). Tips: don’t need to eat rice because you’ll be full for having meat and vegetables like what we ordered for 4 people.

wanna try the alaskan crab with singapore chili sauce. we like it but i think it’s a bit overpriced (for me) 🙂 about 4million for 6 people. not a big fan for spinach noodle. but overall it was a good experience. 🙏

Private year end dinner with my friends here, the food is good and fresh. The private dining area offers karaoke machine so it can get a little bit loud (sounds from neighboring private rooms can be heard) the main dining hall itself is placed a bit far so the noise is not too distracting there. Parking is limited, they offer valet service. Location is on the 2nd floor. 1st floor is jewelry store.
