My partner and I came here twice during our trip to Ninh Binh specifically for their Gyro. We have tried the cinnamon bun, coffee, and gyro.
Cinnamon bun- unfortunately we were not a fan of it. We both thought the icing had an odd flavour to it, and the cinnamon bun could have had more cinnamon and could have been on the softer side.
Gyro- now this did not disappoint! The pita was fluffy, and everything in the gyro came so well together. It was all flavourful. I loved their tazitki and garlic sauce, so much so that I doubled it on the second visit, and it definitely elevated it even more. The vegetables in the gyro seemed to be fresh and really added the freshness to the gyro. The fries were also a nice addition to the gyro. When my partner tried mine on our first visit, he didn't like the fries being in the gyro. So on the second visit, he asked for it to be on the side, and he really appreciated that they were able to accommodate that request.
We really enjoyed the dining space as it is open and it was very inviting. The washroom for the most part was clean, but there were a lot of fruit flies and flies everywhere.
The staff working there are all very welcoming and friendly. However, take note that the service can get very slow especially when it is busy. Fortunately we didn't receive a poor experience with the service, but we did observe how some tables never got their drinks, or if they did it came quite late into their meals (sometimes when they were ready to pay). I think the place could have a more efficient and effective system in place so that there is a mutual understanding of who has been served, and what has already been put out. While we waited for our things to come out, we would be asked if we ordered already, and sometimes we saw the staff getting confused with the orders.
