The chicken gyro is fantastic😍 The food menu is amazing and has a lot of healthy options. An underrated gem is the fruit salad served with coconut cream and coconut shavings. Also loved peanut butter chia seed granola bowl. The service is great and since I travelled in the summer, the host always welcomed me with a cold, moist towel. The quality of the food is great and the ambience is lovely too. Will definitely visit The Coop if I’m back in Ninh Binh! ❤️

The best GYRO! Quesadillas and fries were kid approved. After a couple weeks of local food we were craving something different. The gyro was amazing! Loved the coconut coffee and lime mint slushee as well. This meal cost us a lot compared to what we’ve been eating but it was all delicious and well worth it.

In a sea of tourist trap restaurants, The Coop stands triumphantly above it all! I ate there three times in one day haha. Tried the cinnamon bun, burger, gyro, and quesadilla— all awesome. I’m pretty sure they make all the desert, sandwich buns, and tortillas from scratch. The staff was so kind too. What a delight. It’s on the same street as the Mua Caves park, so it’s a great option for a post-hike meal and beer!

Loved the lime mint slushie and PB salt coffee! Also had a chicken quesadilla and chicken gyro which were both delicious. Great place to chill with a drink and snack. I’ve heard it’s hard to find good food in this town and this was really good. Slightly higher prices than average in town and no indoor AC seating but they proactively put a fan right next to us. Would totally come back!

The COOP is very special, the food is really different from other places in the area. The price is good for the quality you get, many choices for Western style. I love Vietnamese food, but sometimes when I want to eat Western food, I come here After climbing Mua Cave, you’ll really want to come here to relax and enjoy a good meal. They gave me the cold towel, free-refill water, and free parking fee. I definitely will tell my friends to this place!

My partner and I came here twice during our trip to Ninh Binh specifically for their Gyro. We have tried the cinnamon bun, coffee, and gyro. Cinnamon bun- unfortunately we were not a fan of it. We both thought the icing had an odd flavour to it, and the cinnamon bun could have had more cinnamon and could have been on the softer side. Gyro- now this did not disappoint! The pita was fluffy, and everything in the gyro came so well together. It was all flavourful. I loved their tazitki and garlic sauce, so much so that I doubled it on the second visit, and it definitely elevated it even more. The vegetables in the gyro seemed to be fresh and really added the freshness to the gyro. The fries were also a nice addition to the gyro. When my partner tried mine on our first visit, he didn't like the fries being in the gyro. So on the second visit, he asked for it to be on the side, and he really appreciated that they were able to accommodate that request. We really enjoyed the dining space as it is open and it was very inviting. The washroom for the most part was clean, but there were a lot of fruit flies and flies everywhere. The staff working there are all very welcoming and friendly. However, take note that the service can get very slow especially when it is busy. Fortunately we didn't receive a poor experience with the service, but we did observe how some tables never got their drinks, or if they did it came quite late into their meals (sometimes when they were ready to pay). I think the place could have a more efficient and effective system in place so that there is a mutual understanding of who has been served, and what has already been put out. While we waited for our things to come out, we would be asked if we ordered already, and sometimes we saw the staff getting confused with the orders.

A hidden gem in Ninh Binh serving delicious food and drinks. As another review said, some of the best food we’ve had in Vietnam! We came here for breakfast and dinner twice while staying in the area and would highly recommend. Much calmer atmosphere and certainly far better and fresher food than all of the restaurants in Tam Coc. We had amazing iced salted coffee here! 😋 The kebab, rice bowl, cinnamon buns etc. were delicious and the prices very reasonable.

Lovely quirky cafe serving really nice food. I had the hot cinnamon bun with cream cheese. It was gorgeous. I'll be going back for the food. It's on the way to mui cave and I think they're a chain because I've just seen another in tam coc.
