Chops Grill - Steak & Seafood

Milan was an excellent host. The food was of outstanding quality and arrived quickly despite almost every table was occupied. I was very happy with the overall experience and strongly recommend it.

Vjeko was an amazing server. The food was amazing and the service was equal. I would suggest the pear and goat cheese and the Irish ribeye. If you order medium rare, it will be cooked correctly. The shrimp apricot risotto was delicious as well.

Food was absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere, relaxing, clean, quiet. Our server Milan was fantastic!

Ok, perhaps my review should have some disclaimers I had Caesar salad, carpaccio, & broccoli w/ more cream broccoli, on bottom. Caesar great, carpaccio, I felt had truffle over kill,& just way too much aoli & broccoli was so bland, the cream reminded me of baby food. I was there early 4:30 late lunch but my host recommended. Maybe I had the wrong menu items?

Able to cater for larger groups with high quality meat executed well. I had the lava cake for dessert which was the highlight for me. The goats cheese tartlets for starter were a little heavy on pastry only minor thing.

We had such a great experience at Chops. Because of an airline snafu, we had an extra day in Split and the concierge at our hotel strongly recommended Chops. They were able to squeeze us in on a Friday night, and we were so glad they did. The service was exceptional, with a wonderful wine recommendation of a Croatian red. We had the goat cheese and pancetta appetizer, which was light but flavorful. For dinner, we had a 10-ounce Black Angus ribeye that we split, and it was tremendous. With great sides of grilled summer vegetables and truffled mashed potatoes, it was a top-notch meal. We splurged on the lava cake for desert with espresso, and it was a rich way to end the evening. The staff here is wonderful, and the food lived up to its billing. I can’t recommend it enough.

Very good steak and seafood dishes. My only reservation is that the wine menu could be improved (although I went a year ago, and so it may have well improved by now). Nevertheless, you will not be disappointed.

Amazinggggg food. Was a bit cold for our liking but other than that everything was perfect. They had a great selection of wine. And the desert was also to die for.
