We had such a great experience at Chops. Because of an airline snafu, we had an extra day in Split and the concierge at our hotel strongly recommended Chops. They were able to squeeze us in on a Friday night, and we were so glad they did. The service was exceptional, with a wonderful wine recommendation of a Croatian red. We had the goat cheese and pancetta appetizer, which was light but flavorful. For dinner, we had a 10-ounce Black Angus ribeye that we split, and it was tremendous. With great sides of grilled summer vegetables and truffled mashed potatoes, it was a top-notch meal. We splurged on the lava cake for desert with espresso, and it was a rich way to end the evening. The staff here is wonderful, and the food lived up to its billing. I can’t recommend it enough.
