Great atmosphere. Coffee was just okay and the pastries themselves are pretty good (not incredible). Would recommend for relaxation.

While we visited on a busy Sunday morning, the chou was worth it. We got one of their famous eclairs and a chicken sandwich. Their coffee is very strong and fruity. They had plant-based milks as well.

I recently had the pleasure to visit Chou, Geneve - a delightful small patisserie that offers an extraordinary selection of salt eclairs and small sweet chou with various flavors. I must say, I've never encountered such unique pastries before! My personal favorites were the "caramel beurre salé" and "noix de pécan". The food was absolutely delicious, and the service provided was top. I highly recommend Chou, Geneve to anyone seeking a delightful culinary experience!

If you’re a family looking for a kind, welcoming spot, this sadly isn’t it. We recently visited this tea room hoping for a relaxing family outing. While I’ll give credit where it’s due—the coffee was excellent and the choux pastries were genuinely delightful—the experience was unfortunately overshadowed by the unwelcoming and frankly hostile attitude from the two male staff. Despite the warm ambiance the decor might suggest, families are clearly not welcomed here. Not a single smile from the male staff, and worse, they despised our children for simply behaving like children—nothing excessive or disruptive, just normal, youthful energy. It was uncomfortable and disappointing. It’s a shame, really, because the food and drinks had potential to bring us back. But with such an unfriendly and cold reception, we won’t be returning.

Best specialty coffee in Geneva. It’s the kind of place you just want to stay in. The service was excellent, attentive, and genuine. Perfect spot for coffee lovers and a peaceful break from the city buzz

Cozy place with a great choice of extraordinary tasty CHOUQUETTES and CHOUX. There are no words to describe how delightful and delicate they are, you must simply come and taste them on your own. Coffee is also great. We especially enjoyed the balcony-like area inside with a chair and a sofa. As a delightful bonus, the cafe is in a blue parking zone which is not much occupied normally, so car drivers can stay there for free for an hour.

Finding some place to killi time until the ferry departs, found this cafe by chance, stopped by a coffee. During the stay in Geneve, did not get a good coffee somehow so was not expecting much but here served good coffee, also eclairs were special too with the ok price.

Yelp
I found this place through a Time Out article I read on the best cafe's in Geneva, and I am so happy I decided to stop by during my stay. It's a cute, hip. chic cafe that serves, well, chou pastries! They have your typical cream puffs with different flavors, and savory eclairs, which I found very surprising! They also have cute little chouquettes and other viennoiseries. I got the Caramel Buree Sale and Black Sesame chou (2,80 each), and the Chèvre Frais (fresh goat cheese) savory eclair (5,50). All of them were presented beautifully, and WOW. If I had all the money in the world, I might spend all of it on these chou pastries!! the Caramel Buree Sale was the perfect sweetness - just a little bit salty and very very rich and smooth caramel. The Black Sesame was also so amazing. Much sweeter than the Caramel, but it was so creamy and the black sesame flavor was very prominent. The savor eclair was also so devine! the goat cheese paired very well with the artichoke, and the carrots and pomegranate made a nice addition to it. The chou pastry itself was just amazing, and not sweetened, which made it ideal for both the sweet and the savory. So buttery, slightly crisp (but not crispy, if you know what I mean) on the outside and soft (but not mushy) on the inside. I also got two chouquettes (,50 each) for the road because my experience with the first three items were just so darn good. Little did I know that they would barely last 10 seconds, because they were so. frickin. good. I got the plain sugar and chocolate chouquette (they also have an almond flavor), and as i took my first bite of the plain sugar one, I literally said "holy hell" out loud because i was so startled at how good it was. It was light and airy, but also just a little creamy inside. The chocolate one was just as good as the sugar one. I think I easily could have devoured a dozen and not feel the slightest bit guilty. If I lived in Geneva, you'd bet everything that I would be a frequent customer, especially because they rotate their chou flavors constantly, so you'd always get to try a new flavor! The staff was also very kind. For the majority of the time I was there, it was just one girl hustling the floor, and yet she took the time to take my photo when I asked her.

Yelp
Nice cafe that we stumbled on while walking back from the # 4 water taxi to the old part of the city. We got there after the morning/early afternoon rush on a Saturday so many of the options were sold out. What remained was good (small savory eclair-type sandwiches that were interesting - most seemed to have Mediterranean-type seasonings/ingredients so a little more interesting and tasty than what you'd find at some traditional boulangerie/cafe). Worth stopping by if you're in that part of the city.

Yelp
LOVE this place for a quick breakfast pastry and coffee. Super friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and they speak English. Everything is good -- I've tried their coffee, pain chocolat, croissants, choquettes, sandwiches, and desserts. The sandwiches are on puff pastry-type bread and very flavorful. They are small though so you'll need at least two. But with the variety they have, it's just another opportunity to sample more of their goods. The dessert pastry is also very good (and so pretty!). Filled with different types of delicious filling. You can't go wrong!
