I love it here .. there's food and atmosphere are awesome.. The service here and the staffs behaviour is very good... I will 100% recommended this place...

Ended our durga puja feast with Chowman on Doshomi. Was expecting a long wait for table , but luckily we got through. They very cleverly printed their SHARODIYA menu on the dining paper sheet. We ordered Mixed Rice Noodles aka Mehfoon . Ample amount of protein , didn't skimp out on the quantity of prawns, egg, and Chicken. The texture and taste of the rice noodles delivered on point. Along with that there was Schezwan Chicken, which had 12 good pieces of chicken. Good ratio between meat and coating, moderately spiced(if u eat hella spicy like me) . Actually we wanted to order Butter Garlic Fish but they said Basa fish was not available it was just Bhetki which had the price of 610 rupees hence we went with the chicken side dish. Mixed riced noodles was 440 rupees and Schezwan Chicken was 395. They charged 40 rupees gst , hence the total bill came down to 877/- Both the quality and quantity of the dishes went hand in hand . The service provided was really helpful and polite. Had an amazing experience at Chowman Behala. Would love to visit again . Cheers ❤️

One of the best chinese restaurant in the locality. The restaurant has nice ambience and well decorated interiors. Good Chinese food are offered which are freshly prepared. A very good family restaurant and a must visit for all. Their staffs are also well trained to serve their guest

I had a wonderful experience at Behala Chowman Chinese restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. What really stood out was their thoughtful approach towards families with children. They offered a special child-friendly menu with no spice, which was perfect for kids. Before the food arrived, the staff gave color pencils and a drawing sheet to keep children happily engaged – such a thoughtful gesture that made our dining experience more relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, excellent food, warm service, and family-friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended for both family outings and casual dining.

I entered in restaurant Around 9:30pm today(23/02/2026)four of us. We ordered Ginger Garlic seafood Rice, Hong Kong Chicken. Honey squid . Seafood Rice. And I try to order some beverages and some desert. That time waiter told me that we have some problem with our refrigerator. And waiter told me that he can serve beverages room temperature. I told not required thank you so much. After sometime our food came and we start eating. Then suddenly one of us found a hair on our plate. We told the waiter and he changed the plate. A little while later two more of us found hair on our plates. When I told him, He said it could also come from the customer. Then he started to misbehave with us. He spoke loudly. Then he asked me to pay again. And I agreed to pay them on one condition. The condition was that they had to guarantee that there would be no hair in the remaining food. Face could not give me this guarantee. So I did not pay.. after that so I left without paying and without eating. This is my second experience with this hair at the same restaurant. Thank you.nice experience. I will never go to that restaurant again. 🙏

Chowman, Behala needs no introduction. Even during Durga Puja, when most places compromise on quality, their food remained consistent and tasty. It was quite crowded — we waited almost 2 hours — but the service and quality made up for it. Prices aren’t very pocket-friendly but reasonable for the quality. Overall, a good experience, true to the brand’s name.

This is our favourite restaurant. They provide super tasty foods. The waiters are well behaved and they always help us to choose the proper item from the huge options. We love their smoky chicken / fish, schezwan rice, butter garlic fish, garlic chicken, mocktails, brownie. Each item is tasty.
