Chrismont Cellar Door, Restaurant & Accommodation

What a wonderful lunch we had here yesterday. The staff are absolutely delightful! Thank you for my Italian lessons and also the great wine advice from John. Our gluten free choices were great food was tasty and plentiful and the price of the wines was such good value in the restaurant. What a pleasant surprise not to be charged more than the cellar door price! Great views great ambience could not recommend more highly we certainly will be back!

Had a beautiful birthday lunch. Gorgeous location, delicious food, great service. The honey carrots are almost as good as my nonnas! Bruno look after us excellently. He was attentive and welcoming without being over the top. Didn't feel rushed at all, which can sometimes happen in busier restaurants. Not here! It was absolutely busy, but felt relaxed. Definitely worth a visit, much more relaxed atmosphere than most of the vineyards around here, but still classically beautiful and wonderful ambience.

Stopped in on the way past and we were pleasantly impressed by the hospitality from all, the wine is exceptional and it’s a must to stay for lunch. Bruno was our host and he’s expertise in hospitality is a fine art. The food was perfect in portion size for sharing and highly recommend the octopus, for mains we had the lamb which was melt in your mouth delicious. The views overlooking the mountains surrounding the valley are so picturesque. Definitely on a return to this welcoming atmosphere.

Just left Chrismont. What a wonderful experience the four of us had, spending time with Linda as we tasted the extraordinary range of perfect wines and with Jo over our brilliant lunch. The quality is just astonishing and well worth the journey from Brisbane to enjoy it. Truly, a class act.

The meals were delicious,the wine was very palatable but the service was outstanding.A special mention to Bruno ,our waiter.He was so personable.It was so refreshing to receive good,old fashioned service. Once again Jo & Arnie have outdone themselves! We had a fabulous couple of nights in the new Retreat Studios and lunch on the Friday. Lunch of course was amazing as always - fabulous food, wine, service and location. The Retreat Studio was immaculate and sensational! Jo provided enough beautiful produce to feed a family for a week! Complemented by beautiful Chrismont wines. The decor is stunning, bed amazingly comfortable and the bathroom to die for. All equipped with everything you need. The view from the deck is amazing! Highly recommended!!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Chrismont Winery whilst on a wine discovery road tour with my mother and brother. The entire visit was just amazing!!!!! From the time we arrived we were made to feel extremely welcome. The wine tasting experience delivered everything you could wish for expertly facilitated by friendly courteous, and knowledgeable staff. The choice and quality of wine is exceptional and consequently we purchased a nice range of Chrismont wines to enjoy with family and friends. Although we did not have lunch at Chrismont on this occasion we would like to on our next visit, the many reviews on the quality dining experience speak for themselves. We didn’t stay at Chrismont Winery. We only had an impromptu lunch at Chrismont Restaurant with friends. Food was amazing and service was even better!! The Chrismont owners have so much passion. Highly recommend everyone to dine there BUT must book!!! The view from the restaurant is absolutely stunning!! We hope to go back there soon.
