As an Italian, I have to say the bread as everything at Chrisostomos truly impressed me!
The bread was absolutely delicious and super fresh, definitely worth trying on its own.
I also tried the liver, heart, and lungs—as a Sicilian, I’m used to eating those in a much unhealthier way, so tasting this more refined and traditional version was both good and interesting. I wouldn’t recommend it to everyone, only if you already enjoy those kinds of meats.
The pasta with chicken was flavorful and well done, and honestly, judging by the dishes I saw coming out of the kitchen, you can’t go wrong with anything here. Everything looked and smelled amazing.
The restaurant is authentic, traditional, and full of character, with great service to match. A must-visit if you’re looking for a real taste of Crete!
