We had dinner twice there, once on Christmas Eve 2024, and two days later..! It was a wonderful experience! We were welcomed and treated with great hospitality, and the food we were served was delicious! We had one of the best Rib-eye and filet of our lives, cooked to perfection! And the salads were amazing.. Thank you for the hospitality, hope we will be visiting again soon!

Very nice dishes and everything the stuff was polite! A little bit too much salt on all dishes tho! Thank you!

The place offers overpriced Greek cuisine of passable quality. The staff could have been friendlier. However, the nice veranda and the option of four fixed menus (two fish and two meat ones with prices up to 35 euros/person) saved the night.

Perhaps the best restaurant in Monemvasia. Gourmet Greek food in an exceptional environment. Great view and service. Highly recommended for everyone who wants to take a sense of the magic of this beautiful medieval Greek city. And I am speaking as a Greek who spends most of his life in Greece and the last 10 years abroad

What an amazing place! Fresh and tasty food, super-helpful and kind staff and an incredible all-round experience! There are many good restautants in the castle, but this one seems to be a level-up from the others.

Fantastic view and lovely food 👌 Definetely check out thia restaurant when you visit castle monemvasia. Beautifully appointed restaurant in the heart of Monemvasia. Spectacular views and a diverse menu to satisfy most. Service was professional and all our meals were delightful. A very special and memorable evening on our Greek holiday.

Very pleasing atmosphere situatued in the heart of Monemvasia with a beautiful view over the Monemvasia ancient city. Even though it is relatively small compared to the other restaurants and taverns in the area, the incredible food and service do make up for the small size of the place. Food was delicious, everything was freshly prepared and really highlighted every aspect of authentic greek cuisine. Although a bit pricey, the quality and quantity are worth every cent. If you ever find yourself in Monemvasia, I highly advise you to give this restaurant a try, you will not regret it!

Chrisovoulo is probably the poshest among Monemvasia's restaurants. The menu is massive and offers many creative options. Its focus is on main courses with high-quality fish or meat. The salmon fillet was excellent, but the pork tenderloin was too dry. My favourite was the traditional "saiti" pie, a turnover filled with tangy greens and feta cheese. The lemon curd for dessert is out of this world! Prices are much higher than elsewhere in Monemvasia. My partner and I paid €75 euros for dinner, without having wine. The service is sloppy, unprofessional and inappropriate for a restaurant of this price range. I wouldn't come back.
