Christian Paul Vineyards

Beautiful vineyard. We were on a vineyard hopping tour and this is where we started. The outdoor seating has views of the beautiful rolling grounds. Fans were aplenty and there were games that we could play. We had the white wine flights and the quantity of each serving was great. Christian spent a lot of time with us answering questions about the place and their history. We had a great time here.

Top of their class, I'd say! Christian and Andrew have created a perfect winery venue with gorgeous, rolling vineyards, attractive building, multiple comfortable places to sit and relax both inside and out, and an amazing mix of white and red wines. My wife suggested it has an "undestated elegance". I think that's spot on. They use an impressive variety of grapes including Multepulciano and Malbec and Sangiovese. Also a food truck here which is great. This is a "Must Stop" for your winery tour while in the Elkin area!

Stopped here on a whim and had a wonderful experience! All the wines were delicious! Carissa was so knowledgeable and we enjoyed chatting with her during our tasting. Christian and Andrew were so gracious and personable, always checking on the customers and explaining process or wines. They happened to be celebrating their two year anniversary of the vineyard! Music was very nice. We left with three bottles and look forward to our next visit or wine dinner! Congratulations! A beautiful setting.

Shannon is amazing - super knowledgeable, personable, hands down the best bartender! We can’t wait to return once they begin producing their own wines, though the current selection is already fantastic thanks to great partnerships with local wineries. It’s conveniently located just off 77, yet it feels miles away from the hustle of the interstate. Great addition to the already fabulous winery area of NC!

If you are visiting Elkin, you must visit this Vineyard!!! Christian and Andrew are amazing!! They make you feel like you're family! The tasting room is beautiful! They have a really nice covered patio. I really enjoyed listening to Christian when he told me about his ancestors making wine in Italy and then moving to America and continuing to make wine. It reminded me of the movie- Under the Tuscan Sun! It also makes me want to visit Italy and try visit some Vineyards! I can't wait to try the Montepulciano! Looking forward to coming back!

The 4th and final stop on our custom tour with Elkin Vine Line (which I also highly recommend), this winery was fantastic! We grabbed a table outside, they let us bring our own charcuterie-style snacks, and we enjoyed a tasting experience overlooking such a pretty property. Once those vines mature, this winery will be some stiff competition for another local winery known to be very picturesque. Great views paired with great wine! We left with many bottles to take home and enjoy. We will definitely be back and will plan on spending much more time here when we go back!

Enjoyed our visit to Christian Paul. Staff was attentive and informative. Enjoyed our wine tasting. Glad they participated in the winery passport program. It was a great visit.

Christian Paul Vineyards is an absolute gem. Lovely setting, attractive tasting room. Italian winemaking family transplanted to NC. We did the First Class Flight tasting and it was phenomenal. Ended up buying bottles of almost everything we tasted. We were able to meet the owner who is not only friendly and personable but obviously extremely knowledgeable about wine. All the wines and blends were outstanding. I told him the Cour de Maison red blend "blew my mind." Our tasting host was extremely knowledgeable, which we appreciated. Also appreciate wineries that use Reidel glasses. After our tasting we purchased a glass each to enjoy in the outdoor space. It was pleasant but I'm sure in the spring and summer (this visit was in January) the landscape is gorgeous. This place is amazing and not to be missed. Can't wait to return.

Drove up to Elkin to visit Christian Paul Vineyards, and we were very impressed. Their wines are fantastic! We both did the First Class Flight wine tasting, and the hostess did a fantastic job. She really knew the wines and the flavor characteristics! This was our first visit, but we will be back! The vineyard is not far off I-77, but one you get here, it feels very secluded. They have a very nice patio that is enclosed for the winter, but will be fantastic in warmer months.

The Christian Paul wine tasting room was gorgeous! I loved the dark yellow color & natural wood look of the building - very Spanish villa style. Despite the cold weather, we started out sitting outside to enjoy the view of the vines and then eventually moved indoors. Dogs are allowed inside & outside which is a plus! The service was great and the hostess was very friendly and welcoming. They had three different wine tastings which all consisted of four different wines. There was a white, red and reserve tasting to choose from. I chose the white selections and was not disappointed!

Stopped by while driving through the area on our way home out of state. If money was not an issue, I would have bought a lot more wine than I did! (I "only" bought one case ") Very nice complexity with the wines. Christian Paul was such a nice guy, was a pleasure to meet him and learn about his family history. The venue was beautiful! Will definitely stop by again if ever in the area again!!

The definition of coming a long way in a short time, Christian Paul now boasts one of the best lineups of reds in the area right outside of Elkin proper. In my most recent visit, they were packed...due to an event in which a local sommelier paired their wines with international counterparts for comparison. I wasn't part of the event, but I can imagine CP showed well. The Shiraz and Petit Verdot are jammy, tasty, and fruit forward. They're not quite to the point of harvesting their own grapes yet, but Continue to look for big things out of this young vineyard.

First Yadkin valley winery where my red wine was decanted. I appreciated this very important step before enjoying any red wine. Kudos to Christian Paul!!

Great winery opened in 2023. Everyone was friendly and wanted to tell you about the history, wine and the winery. It was a great day and we will definitely be back!

Christian and Adam are such wonderful hosts The wines are very good for being young . Their tasting room is very welcoming!

Great visit with a group of friends. Christian very welcoming with great stories of family Italian history and artifacts on display. The group enjoyed a variety of tasty wines while sitting in the comfortable outdoor seating area, watching family and staff tend the newly planted vines. Not quite a vineyard yet but already a promising winery. Great things to come!
