The Christian Reformed Church of Sri Lanka is a beautiful and historic place, showcasing classic Dutch architecture. Though the church remains closed throughout the week and is not open for visitors inside, you can still admire its peaceful surroundings and elegant structure from the outside. A quick stop here is worth it if you're exploring the area and appreciate colonial-era buildings.

The Christian Reformed Church of Sri Lanka has a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. It’s one of the older churches with a rich history and a sense of tradition. The sermons are thoughtful, and the community is warm and supportive. A nice place for quiet reflection and worship.

Very recently I came across this place and heard of its history. Sadly, its another piece of Sri Lankan history, seemed caught up in the beurocrasy and left to ruin. Unless some urgent agreement made between the church and the Gov. authorities, this historical building will be brought to ground. Very interesting information in every corner of this building.

So we visited on Monday & the church was closed. According to the board, it's only open on Sunday for services. The outside looks fantastic & the original? gates with the VOC logo are beautiful. Would visit again if it was open.

Can be great interest point with better maintenance. Entrance is complicated to find (main gate closed, need to enter from the side door, through a strange way around the back. Nevertheless is a beautiful church. Rarely have I seen a church with such a big wooden roof with loads of space. The altar is also very atypical, without all the decorations usually present on churches

An Important, historical landmark in Colombo. its a rare remnant of Dutch era. If you are interested about historical European architecture, then this is one of the most rare places to visit. The services are still held here weekly. The reformed church is a must to see place.
