Christiana Mall

Very good shopping experience here. Plenty of variety of shops with plenty offers to select as per budget. Keep in mind to have extra time for moving around and select the shopping cart of choice. Staff are really friendly and help with the customers. Shopping area with all types of shop including a big dining space. Any visitor does not come out with empty hands for sure. Best thing is this area/ state doesn't charge taxes for the stuff sold (tax free zone). So reax and go shopping. One full day might be Best to visit. Area have also with big parking space around.

Nice mall with outlets from major fashion brands. The best part is since it is located in Delaware, there is NO SALES TAX. So, you can stop by and buy merchandise and electronics items while on your trip via i495. Plenty of parking spaces so need not worry about it. Covered open spaces provide protection from environmental stress such as scorching sun, high wind, cold and rain.

It's a thriving mall with everything you could want in a mall. It's clean and a very light and cheerful atmosphere. They have an area for kids to play. It's a beautiful place reminiscent of how malls used to be.

Teens are only allowed in the mall with a parent after 3pm on Saturdays, which I understand. They should give us wristbands or something so I don't have to walk around the entire mall with the kids. Just my opinion. They also need a parking garage with levels. Parking sucks.

A perfect break during your long journey. Plenty of shopping and variety of food. Liked to spend time there. Above all tax free shopping on all purchases. It’s a popular destination for those who pass by this area and enjoy a break.

I have been to this mall throughout my life on multiple occasions, but it has been a rare treat to come to this mall in my post-East Coast tenure of living in the area. The mall, however has managed to maintain two things amid an area of changes, tax-free shopping and high quality stores. Coming into this mall also on a Tuesday Afternoon, another thing that did not disappoint were the levels of the crowds, as there was something for everybody, despite being a weekday, where malls are known to be slow in terms of productivity in sales. Just for reference of how large this mall is, there are stores such as GAP, Rolex, Levi's, The North Face, Fan Treasures, The LEGO Store, and many others fit for all interests and needs in the form of physical shopping. Better than just getting your needs shipped to you. If you're hungry, then there is a lot of food options, both in the mall, and on the outparcels, gone, however, are the days of Don Pablo's and McDonald's on the site of the mall. Replaced by Popeyes and a Brazilian Steakhouse. Additionally, places such as Shake Shack, Main Event, Brio Tuscane Grille, The Cheesecake Factory,and even Bertucci's in the Town Center. The malls food court also offers robust options ranging from Popeye's, Five Guys, and Chick-Fil-A, up to SaladWorks, Mrs. Fields, TCBY, Cinnabon, and Carvel, all of which are catered to the wants of the consumer and their tastes that they may have. Still, the mall manages to be upkept properly in the state despite not being here in nine years, as it remains the only real mall in the State of Delaware that is thriving. Come here if you have nothing to do, or want to burn some time in the First State.

Nice mall, lots of stores, easy access from highway. So many places to eat inside and around the mall. The best mall in Delaware. However, I found a phone on one of the benches, gave it to security, but something told me he didn't plan on giving it to anyone claiming to be the owner. I could be wrong, but his body language and lack of any verbal response upon receiving it made me regret handing it over. Overall, though, it's a good shopping spot.

The mall is nice and they have everything you want. I like that they have target inside if you need to buy some groceries. But I was so surprised when I went to the washroom/ restroom and it was so filthy. Garbage bins were full and it was overflowing. lol I’ve never seen a bathroom like that.

Christiana seems like one of the malls that is still surviving--and thriving! I always recommend that people stop here if they're driving through Delaware. The mall is huge and has a great selection of retailers, including Apple, Lush, and all the apparel and accessories that you could want. And it's all tax free. That's a big selling point for buying pricier items here versus other locations. Keep in mind that the tax free is only for in-store shopping, and you will pay taxes if you ship to your home. There is plenty of parking and the mall is easily accessible from major roads. Shop early if you can, because it gets busy on weekends and around the holidays. Still, I often visit Christiana Mall on my way up and down the East coast via car.

This mall is huge, has about 4 wings, single floor only. It's clean inside. The common section in the middle has store directory but I didn't see one in the corner entrance of JC Penny. Common areas also don't have any spots for guests to sit and rest. The mall has parental policy in place for minors visiting the mall. It has a huge Apple store, very crowded since it is 0 sales tax.

It's a great mall. Lots of shops and is open little later than most malls. Only thing is we were there near closing time and security and staff were incredibly rude. We were packing up our food in the food court and a security guard threatened that if we didn't leave now- he was going to ban us. Like?? Incredibly rude and distasteful. We were already leaving but being threatened and yelled at by security is bad for business.

This mall has a lot of great features...one of them being no sales tax cause we're shopping in Delaware! On this outing...we went to Barnes and noble, Lego store, Lolli & Pops, the small play area for kiddos and the Target! This mall has definitely changed since I first starting coming here over 20 years ago...great selection of stores and if I were hungry I would've ate at the food court cause they had a great variety of options. The mall has made some wonderful improvements over the years! Thank you for the little kids play area that showcases what's so special about Delaware...the state flower, the race track, Air Force, Wilmington and western railroad, etc.

Fantastic mall. It's good to see a mall busy and full of energy. Most malls nowadays are empty relics, shells of the 1980's. No tax shopping in DE, Nordstrom, UO, Lego, Macy's and lots of food choices. Five stars.

Usual suspect retailers, restaurants and the obligatory food court do nothing to diminish my fondness for Delaware's Christiana Mall. It's a tax free shopping revelation and if you're in the area a quick 8% right off the top (vs. NJ) before any merchant discount is a nice bonus. It's probably not worth the trip it if you're in the market for a toaster and some socks but if you have your eye on a home theater or some other big ticket obsession, you've just financed a very nice dinner and a show. Just a thought. An easy five stars.

Many places to shop, but can get crowded during the holiday season. Relatively clean and I've had nice interactions with staff.

Christiana Mall is like a smaller version of KOP Mall, but it definitely has its merits. First of all, it's easier to navigate as it's smaller. Second, it has a Costco nearby with gas station, liquor and zero sales tax. So if you wanna buy something expensive, it's worthwhile to drive one-hour one way to come here. Parking can be a bit hectic but still manageable.

this is a very nice mall. in the age of dying retail, it's nice to see a mall with stores actually open and a good amount of foot traffic. there's the normal mall stores like zumiez and auntie anne's but they also have different stuff like a target and a dunkin' which i appreciate. there's a lot going on around it as well, movie theater just across the parking lot, places to eat everywhere - it's a very nice mall.

Yeah if you're staying anywhere near the MDVA region (DMV for non smashers), I'd highly recommend checking out Christiana Mall. Delaware has no sales tax, so you can rack up tons of savings just by shopping at this mall. Located conveniently off the I-95, you can easily stop by here if you're travelling through Pennsylvania, Maryland, etc. The mall reminds me of Westfield Oakridge back home. They have tons of stores like Apple, Microsoft, Nordstrom, Target, Gamestop, and Barnes & Noble. I bought Triple-A games from Gamestop with no sales tax. That's a 9.375% savings compared to where I'm from in California, and that adds up if you're buying expensive things like games, consoles, etc. My brother bought an iPad and an Apple Pen from the Apple store for even more savings. I bought some anime books and merch from Barnes & Noble for my boy Bphan back home because of the absence of sales tax. The food court is surprisingly solid too. They have Popeyes, Panda Express, and Suki Hana (see my review for more details). Looking back, Christiana is a pretty solid mall in its own right. But the absence of sales tax since it's in Delaware makes it godlike. Would highly recommend.

Good mall. Clean, good stores, and easy to access. Not much seating around, which is unfortunate, given how busy it is. Will come back. Decent food court selection.

I'm actually insulted as a customer of the Christiana Mall because of showing favoritism to specifically Tesla owners in providing Tesla only parking spaces. Dozens of them. I've been driving EV vehicles for a decade and enjoying the convenient availability of EV charging stations at Christiana. Now it's impossible to get a charging spot because they're inviting specifically Tesla owners to the mall. Tesla gets free charging all over the country, but now they've monopolized all the charging spots at the mall. Even the handicapped don't get this many parking spots conveniently located right next to the charging spots. As an EV driver, I'm very disappointed I lost my perk because apparently the mall thinks Tesla drivers are more special than any one of the thousands of other people who patronize the mall. I'm willing to bet money other shoppers are shaking their heads when they see that.

This mall was a breath of fresh air for me. I was tired of shopping at my local mall (which has absolutely no variety), outlets and little local boutiques. It was great to go to a mall that actually had variety! I stopped at a lot of the stores--Nordstrom's, Macy's, White House Black Market, South Moon Under, J Jill, Williams Sonoma and Pottery Barn. I ended the shopping trip with a really healthy salad at Salad Works! I will definitely be back!

Just hanging out at the mall today. 1st time going here. Nice and lots to do and have a nice food court. Overall decent mall.

You can't beat tax free, so if I'm making a big purchase I always try and make the trip down to this mall to get a deal. It's also great for Christmas and holiday shopping. I like that this mall is quite large, even if it is designed somewhat poorly in a weird rectangular layout with some random dead ends thrown in. They have a variety of stores and some good anchor stores (Macy's and Target for instance) that make it worth the trip. This is one of only a few malls left that is still thriving, no doubt due to the amount of money they put into it and the fact that the state it's in is tax free. I never pass up a shopping trip here.

It's busy inside the mall. The most concentrated area was by the food court. There's a lot of people in all some of the corridors of the mall, you wouldn't know there's a pandemic in some sections of the mall. We came in here for a large colorful fruit tea at the Mr. Wish kiosk inside. There are sanitation stations around the mall.

A lot of parking, clean and busy mall. Many good stores to visit and during July they have the fireworks tent with a lot of options. Their food court has a lot of pretty good options. I got a mango smoothie from there and it was pretty fire. Only came here once w/a friend for a road trip. It's definitely worth the visit. There's a Target nearby as well.

The entire mall to include the outlying businesses like Costco, Starbucks, etc. is an absolute nightmare to traverse. Traffic sucks in a horrible way. Whoever designed the roadways, stop signs, lights, etc. should go back to civil engineering school. Don't come here if you value your time in any way.

This place has everything!! The food court is awesome and there's even a Cabela's nearby and a huge movie theater and just about anything else you could want . I was in a bit of a hurry the day that I came there but I will definitely go back and check the place out . Lots of parking and easy to access from the freeway .

If you're from Maryland, this mall looks A LOT like the mall in Annapolis. I felt right at home lol. Christiana Mall is a great place to stop during a road trip!

Wow what a huge mall. It's one of those can't miss places when you're driving through Delaware. Let's be realistic about it, it has everything you could possibly need, and it's surrounded by every possible store that you could possibly need. From Costco to Bloomingdale's, the Christiana Mall has anything for your budget. I'll be back if I am driving through the area and need to stretch my legs while taking care of my shopping needs.

Live this mall, great place to walk and shop. We especially enjoy the fact that it's tax free; so there's always a built in discount. The surrounding retail stores are good too - Costco for example. So overall we love to come out and make it a half day trip from Maryland. We will be back.

This mall definitely provided the Lion's Tigers and Bears moment! This mall had so many stores to accommodate every member of the family that it was ridiculous! We spent our time walking around ooooing and awwwing all of the wonderful stores, the cleanliness of the mall as well as availability everything everywhere all the time! This mall definitely provides you with plenty of options for different styles, personal taste and price brackets. Even the kiosks were awesome w unique and eye appealing items. I would recommend this mall to anyone who's looking for anything! If you need it they got it! Another Perk : Plentiful onsite well lit parking!!

Christiana Mall is a tax free mall because it's in Delaware. We love shopping there. It's worth to drive to shop there if you plan to buy expensive stuffs to avoid taxes. The food area is always busy doesn't matter what day is it. Would recommend it if you leave around it for a tax free shopping.

My daugters bought me a mother's day ring from the jewelry department and gave it to me on mother's day. Now it's July 28. I took the ring back to the store to get sized my daughters were told it would be 29.00 to get sized . When I took it there I paid 45.00 (they lied). The ring was sent out in which took 4 or so weeks It came back still didn't fit. Went back spoke to Karen the manager she did a care plan (which never happened) and put the 20.00(which should of be refunded and was not) towards that. Karen also said well the care plan wouldnt work . Someone should of called and she doesnt know why maybe they write the wrong number down (karen took my info)Well I've called I never would get a call back until today. I was told they ordered a new one and it's being mailed to my house. They lie still have no ring nor the money back. I would never ever purchase from them . Horrible service

Mall needs to go back to pre-Covid hours already. The closing early stuff isn't necessary anymore. a lot of people want to shop a little later in the evening to not deal with crowds.

Very nice Mall with easy access from all major roads. I really enjoy visiting though not there often due to distance to drive.

Can't go wrong shopping tax free at all. The only mall I frequent too in Northern Delaware because Concord is very limited. However, Christiana is a bit chaotic for me. Lots of crowds especially in, near, and around the Food Court. You wouldn't think there is a pandemic. With all the new additions to the district, draws even more attention. Mall isn't as big as you think, but till this day I have trouble navigating around.

I'm always down for a mall trip. Especially if said mall has my favorite store - Lush. This mall had that and more. Really amazing clothing store selection and a pretty good food court as well. The only downside was an experience I had at one of the kiosks. The guy selling essential/fragrance oils in the center of the mall was very forceful and rude towards me. Served me right for fooling with the kiosk sellers, but the mall should really keep note of who they're inviting in to sell things.

Don't get me wrong, I love this mall. It has a really wide variety of big stores that all are well-stocked. Everything "commercial wise" is great. The one thing that really got me was the fact that it's DIRTY. There seemed to not be a lot of people cleaning in the food courts or around the mall. I had used one of the bathrooms while I was there and it looked like a bomb went off. The trash cans were overflowing and there were cups and bottles of soda on the sink. I would think that they would have someone down there every 2 hours just to maintain it! I went into one of the stalls (there were only three and there was another lady in the second) and there was toilet paper on the floor and type hygiene box seemed to be spilled out! I used a different stall that seemed to be cleaner, but it still had toilet paper on the floor. Other than that turn off, I really do like this mall and I recommend it for big shoppers. Maybe just turn down the drinks inside and just hold it.

Perfume Point are thieves..... Christmas time shopping and paid 5 times the price of a perfume..... Paid 165$ for something they sell at walmart for 30$ lesson learned will never return.....

Always super busy. My son who is under 5 years was trampled by people not watching where they are going MULTIPLE times which is not okay! If you have a small child would recommend not letting them walk no matter the fit! Definitely not toddler friendly!

Even though it's freezing rain outside, I still need to try and get my 10k steps in so I headed to the mall and did some walking. This is a nice, modern mall that is challenging to access and challenging to leave, at least that's what I found. But once you're inside, the walking is easy and there is plenty of space even with all the kiosks. Quite a few upscale and modern shops and lots of kiosks offering a variety of products and services. It's a big mall, so there is a good spread of unique stuff as well as the large anchors, Target, Macy's, Nordstrom and JC Penney. Food court is very large with more than 15 different offerings, though the queues were the longest at stalwarts Taco Bell and McDonald's. This is why we're fat, people! Easy to walk around the big circle a few times and peer in to many of the shops. BONUS: DELAWARE DOES NOT HAVE A SALES TAX! So the price you see is the price you pay. How about that!

I feel like I'm not the best with reviewing non-food places. With that being said Christiana mall is the best mall that I've ever been to and still always go to. I've been to a good amount of malls including King of Prussia but nothing compares to this place. It's very big, has all the stores that you need but not too huge and still feels kind of homey. See the thing Is most malls today are either going out of business with no people inside or absolutely huge and you get lost in. In my opinion Christiana Mall has the perfect amount of stores, space and at all times people inside. Not to mention they definitely have the best food court I've ever been in and that's honest. I know this isn't the longest review but I just wanted to put that out there and I hope that this mall stays doing The great job they've been doing.

Christiana Mall isn't a huge mall, but not small either. There's plenty of parking. Their exterior, and wacky driving patterns remind me of Montgomery Mall (Montgomeryville, PA) or Willow Grove Mall (Willow Grove, PA), anyone else notice that? The mall is a single-story deal, with a naturally-lit interior during the day, well-lit after sunset. There's still a light selection of stores, even with the unstable economy at the moment. I've been shopping at Christiana on-and-off for years - can't beat tax-free shopping - and was here last week, even meeting Santa Claus, or his helper, if you prefer. At the end of the day, Christiana Mall is still just a mall, so no matter what I write, you know deep in your heart whether or not you're checking them out, am I right?

May b one of the nicest malls on the East coast with probably the ugliest and dirtiest restrooms in the entire country. I'm Not picky but that was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen and smelled. Yuck!!

The most reliable and still running mall today. It's a regional and even international favorite next to King of Prussia. Many memories were made here.

Plenty of Parking, Great Staff, and lots of stores. This is a very nice clean mall with lots of dining options. It's a great place even to just make a pit stop. Great mall and even if you are not from Delaware, it's definitely worth coming to.

There is certainly no shortage of shopping options here. That goes for clothing, restaurants, just about anything you need or want. It is extremely convenient because it is just off of two major arteries, I-95, ant Rt.1/7. And you can't beat the tax free shopping of Delaware. They are currently adding new store as well. It is a little spread out, so plan on driving to other little complexes in the development.

Great mall with lots of stores and food options. Was especially happy to see they had a Mother's Lounge with all the amenities you need: power outlets, sink, changing table, and comfy rocking chair. Love that they even added special touches to the room like a lamp and baby portraits too! (They have an intercom system to enter so that the room isn't randomly used by anyone else.)

It's an average mall. The best part is that there's no tax. This is the closest mall to NYC on Delaware to buy electronics (I saved about $300) or whatever else you want, minus the tax. It's about 2.5 hours south, a pretty long drive. So if you go, bring friends, or buy something big. Feels like a mall in Jersey.

Bright clean and thriving mall wish they were all like that. Found all the places I love to shop. Here in Virginia they could use some help on how to support and maintain mall property.

Excellent mall. Adequate parking with an abundance of shops in the mall. Mall itself is well maintained. Adjacent to the mall lies every store imaginable!: Costco, dsw, Marshall's, home goods, Nordstrom rack, saks fifth avenue, restaurants, starbucks.... the list goes on and on. Went here to shop for my sisters wedding and we found nearly everything we needed. Usually we have to go to the mall then the individual stores like Marshall's miles and miles away. This is not the case here. This mall and shopping zone are life savers. Plus, no sales tax!!! Need I say more? One stop shop for anything and everything you need.

I love this mall, you can find pretty much anything here; from budget-friendly to upscale options. It's pretty much the best tax-free mall in hundreds of miles. The apple store is definably one of the best ones in the country. Christmas time gets insane with so much traffic that could take you a very long time to just park or to leave. But overall, it's a very solid place to go shopping.

Navigating that place must be more difficult than going to Mars, and takes longer. Some parking lots have no signs to indicate how to find your car again. The lots that have signs are so high, they are nearly invisible. There is some handicapped parking, but the spot I took required me to climb up a high curb to a grassy expanse, then down another curb to the street. Crosswalks are rare. No sidewalks between parking and stores. It will be a long time before I go back.

Got to say coming here I didn't know what to expect, it's pretty well thought out built, place is huge, and they have a store for everyones desire, I ended up shopping at villa for some sneakers, got what i wanted.

Great mall It has sooo many things and options to go for And the best part is you can shop, eat, go out smoke and repeat Spent more than $1500 there out of which Apple took $1000 :D Whenever I need electronics I am heading here again At a walking distance of 15 mins you find bestbuy too in the fashion street

Robust mall that is very crowded on the weekends. Perhaps, because it seems like the most popular mall in the area. It has many stores, stands and offerings. I peeped into a few stores, but I didn't really have devoted time to shop due to an event I was attending nearby. I did go to the food court to get dinner and they had a good selection of the typical mall food courts like Asian, pizza, fast food, salad works, juice stands, pretzels and things like that. One interesting place was grilled cheese option which looked tempting but I passed on it. It was super packed there. Overall, it's a nice mall with good offerings. It could have more maps posted, so that it's easier to a navigate. Otherwise, a well-performing mall.
