Cute place along the canal! Little chilly but they have nice blankets on the chairs you can use to help with that. Vibe is cozy and food was amazing!! Service was decent too. Highly recommend

Christianhavn boat rental and cafe opened in 1991. It is a curious name since they don’t rent out boats. They used to rent rowing boats but traffic increased on the narrow canals and there wasn’t room for the oars anymore and they lost their permit. It is a lovely cafe right on the water and there is an almost Venetian feel to the place due to the canal and marine ambience. Service comes with a generous smile but It’s a cafe and the culinary choices are limited. It’s mostly traditional danish classics with a twist. The deep fried fish filet is my favourite. prices are fair. Although you are in the middle of the city, only few minutes from the parliament, this cafe is a peaceful oasis away from bustling city stress and I highly recommend it. It has become an institution for locals over the years and is usually full. In the evening the place really comes alive and enjoying a drink while watching the light twinkle in the water is a perfect way to spend the evening.

Down the steps to the boat moored on the canal, friendly staff will take your order and serve great beers to your table. Enjoy sipping on those while munching vegetable crisps as the other small boats and kayaks pass by

Perfect place to have lunch on a sunny day. We stumbled on this place by coincidence, and sat down. The halibut open sandwich was excellent, and so was the view with many little boats and rafts passing by. Super-friendly service too. Can highly recommend!

This floating restaurant bar is simply a gem in Christianshavn. Very casual, the staff is amazingly friendly and smiling all the time. Try the L'étrange Orange wine with a small bowl of olives. To die for!

Ordered strawberry trifle and a glass of coke, not so many menu you can order, and the menu book comes with only paper (dont know why some cafes in copenhagen are like this). The trifle tastes amazing i like it, and they put a piece of lemon in the coke making it so fresh. Ambience is good, price is more expensive because you need to pay for the view. Overall good experience trying this floating cafe.

This place was STEPS from our apt, and we loved it! Started out in the outside area, sipping beers and glogg, cozily covered with the provided blankets. The staff was adorable, guessing they were students - just cute and charming and very attentive. We were sitting right by the kitchen, and the food looked fantastic! After a couple of beers, we were able to move inside and get a table. We ordered the duck confit sandwich with kale salad, and the mushroom toast. Both were outstanding! Fresh, well made and delicious. The whole thing is on a canal boat - it's not operational, but you're out on the canal! Really great experience.

My wife and I had a drink here while leaving our kids behind for a bit in our nearby vacation rental. My wife had a Spritz which she enjoyed and I had a fresh Jacobsen Brown Ale. We loved watching the boaters go by. Service was friendly and efficient. They do have a cafe food menu, which we did not try. Lovely experience.

Such a cute cafe right in the canal. My mom, brother, and I stopped in for some afternoon refreshments before our second visit to Christiana. I had a Gin and Tonic, they got beer. I loved how every couple minutes, boats would drift past, some people calling out or waving. Everyone was just chilled out. We got the charcuterie plate which offered something for everyone (Mom is vegetarian). Good times, relaxing, and satisfying. Wish I was back there right now, instead of procrastinating my work while I write about my vacation meals.

I can not say enough about this place the staff was very accommodating (spoke english, because after all we are Americans and don't speak other languages since it would make to much sense if we did). The food was well presented, and very tasty. The homemade bread is fantastic. Definitely going to make an effort to get back here one more time before we leave Copenhagen.

Delightful place to relax while touring Copenhagen. People watching is easy from the outdoor seating with an awning to keep you dry in a rainy season. It's on the water so you can watch the boats go by and the pedestrians and bicyclists crossing the nearby bridge. Casual, romantic ambiance.

I really enjoyed this little spot! Where is a great place to have dinner than onboard a boat in Copenhagen waters?! It's easy to book online through their website. It's seems they also have some set menus online. When we came here for dinner the place was buzzing with happy beautiful people. The staff were lively and really nice. Showed us to our table by the water side and they let us change it to sit near a heater lamp when it got too nippy. There were also blankets if you get really cold! The was a huge smokey grill where the chef was preparing steaks and fish on it! After I saw that, I ordered a whole fish for my main and a side of padron peppers. It came quickly and cooked to perfection! The fish was piping hot and still tender, not over cooked. It was stuffed with lemons and rosemary - a bit different but the rosemary went very well with the fish! The peppers were well seasoned and I wished there was more! Shame it's getting cold so I'll have to come again in spring or on a warm sunny autumn afternoon!

I have had a great time here. This is a Cafe located on a big boat. There is a bar counter, several tables and a stove inside. The stove makes it really warm inside, the decoration, including the fur cushion make it warmer and comfortable. You can enjoy the outside seeing of lake. There is also a band presentation after 8 o'clock. The most impressive memory is the running toy train and the two Sweden talkative strangers. I like this place.

Horrible restaurant. We had to wait 2 hours for our dinner, and I got 4 square centimeters of fish, while my table mate got a piece of meat that was full of fat and completely inedible. Combined with an appetizer and 3 beers, it cost us 660 Kr, and afterwards we were still hungry. Insane price for very little food, and a very slow restaurant. I have never had such an horrible dining experience!
